Things I like: 1. Location is good. Very close to Termini. 2. Good breakfast as a 3-star hotel. Things I don't like: For the first night, they gave us a very small and worn-out room on the top floor (looks like an attic). The room looks less than 10 square meters big, which could only have a bed, one night stand, a small closet and a chair(no room for a desk, and the furniture is very old). It's so small that we can only stay in the bed otherwise there's no place for us to place our feet in the ... Read more

I was staying here with a friend recently and we were quite happy when it was time to leave. The location is near Termini which was handy, however the location is undesirable... especially at night. Shady characters hanging around and the streets were pretty filthy. The staff weren't that friendly... at times they took a while to acknowledge us when we were standing at the front desk. Worst of all was the noise... we heard people talking loudly all through the night. EVERY night. Drunk people be... Read more

This is the third time we've stayed at the Milani hotel; 2008, 2013 and May 2016. We love it for the location and I believe the price is very reasonable for the convenience and the services on offer. It is very close to the termini rail and bus station which is ideal when arriving from the airport. It is also easy walking distance to all of the main sights. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are comfortable. Beds nice and firm, pillows a little flat but you can always ask for more. We h... Read more

This is a very good hotel just a few minutes walk from the Termini railway station. There appears to be someone at reception 24/7 and they are always very helpful providing maps, information, etc. The rooms, whilst not huge, are very comfortable with a very well equipped bathroom. Here the Owens were changed each day and the toiletries topped up each day. The breakfast is a great buffet with an enormous selection from which to choose. The hotel provided free wifi and there are a selection of... Read more

My partner and I checked in for 3 nights, we were advised that the lift was broken on the superior side and it was getting fixed. It was fixed and broken the following morning as well. We walked into the superior room and were far from overwhelmed. I would love to see what the normal room looks like. The walls need a good paint, they need to invest in new pillows they were so thin even with 2 was lower then one normal pillow. The duvet www dirty looking. The place needs a good refurb. The bathro... Read more

Room was clean and had all the necessities, but was just okay. WiFi was slow in the room, and breakfast was disappointing. It's conveniently close to Termini for the trains and local buses. Housekeeping entered my room and my colleague's even when we had the Do Not Disturb signs up - we weren't inconvenienced but preferred the rooms be changed only a few times during our week-long stay in Rome.

We descended on this very well-located hotel, just by Termini, as a base for a programme of church services and concerts. It was the hottest part of July and the excellent air-conditioning in the hotel made it an oasis. In a bust part of the city, it was nevertheless quiet and easy to get to sleep in. More lifts would be helpful and the breakfast was rather average but this was more than made up for by the helpful and welcoming staff, the immaculately clean rooms, linen, bathrooms etc.Lots of go... A simple clean Hotel very good located near to train station and city not so friendly employees, breakfast was not so good, you can feel they are struggling to full fill the requirements. The hotel in general is ok but I am sure for the price I will find better options, I will give only two stars

Staff was helpful. Everyday room service. Decent breakfast. Clean rooms and bathroom. The WiFi was so so in the room but worked great in the lobby. The AC worked fine unless you opened the window--if your automatically turn off. I like bright rooms and we had to open the outside shades in order to get light which would then cause the AC to turn off. Close to the termini station

Old hotel , but squeaky clean . Cleanest one Iv seen so far even though dated. But in need of new beds in our room and pillows .. Rooms made up daily : easy access to local eateries . Great breakfast , nice helpful friendly staff ! Hotel maybe not situated in the nicest area of Milan (if there is one ?!).

Did not have breakfast, but the hotel has a coffee and drinks machine in the lobby so I could get my morning caffe luongo fix

Went there with my sister. To start with, they gave me a double bed instead of a twin one and the room smelled like cigarette! So i went to complain and they changed me. The worst part of my experience is that the woman in charge of cleaning the room, threw away a bag with my socks and shirts. Also she took some coins and threw away some personal papers. When i went to complain, the staff called me a LIAR and then told me, who leaves money in a hotel? I really couldn't believe it. They were so r... Read more

Great hotel in a perfect location just behind the Termini train station. We've stayed here for 3 nights and got a free upgrade for the booked 3p bedroom as the 2p were also superior rooms. The 3p was perfect in size for 3 adults. The 3rd bed was in a seperate room that could be closed down. The 2p rooms were smaller then expected but still big enough for a short stay. Room was clean, beds were comfy and it was nice to have a minibar to keep things cool. Our room was overlooking the back side of ... Read more

I booked single bed room. I recommend to book directly from their hotel website, it is cheaper than other sites. Hotel is good. Near railway station (Roma Terimini). Breakfast is good. My rood was on 5th Floor. The problem is, I need to use stairs after the lift. That is only issues. Over all, it is good to day in mid range hotel.

Nice hotel close to the Termini. Termini area can be dangerous with pick pockets about. The hotel itself is clean and has nice food in the morning. Close access to taxi, buses and metro. Hotel staff were very helpful and kind.

Returned from a 'surprise' first time trip to Rome, organised by the wife for my birthday. Hotel Milani is located very close to the station and not far walking distance form the sites. We found the hotel clean throughout and the bedrooms were comfortable, bathroom and shower good. Mini bar in room but would have preferred kettle etc. instead. Staff were mostly very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was a good start to our day, however found the staff at breakfast not pa... Read more

Ideally located if you are looking for a place to stay near Termini station. Nothing luxury, but has everything you need for a basic hotel; clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. Recommended.
