I loved this hotel! The service couldn't be better. The staff kept the rooms spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. A nice young man made coffee to order! The winding staircase led to the rooftop terrace where we watched the vibe of the city many nights. Location was perfect. Restaurants and shops on same street. It was a short walk to the colloseum and all other major historical sites. 3 star hotel with 5 star service.

Not plush but definitely well located. Very small bathroom to the point where both of the couples we traveled with laughed! You cannot bend at all or if you attempt to bend, you will hit the water faucet and turn off the water or make it very hot. They have a decent breakfast included which serves several types of breads and delicious croissants, scrambled eggs and yogurt. There is coffee, tea and orange juice. Walking distance (about a mile) to the Termini train station, Trevi fountain an... Read more

The bedroom was very clean. The receptionist were competent and likes to help. They are always there when you need her. We send a very happy Journey in this hotel. It's in the historical town, a very good place. Not far away from the underground station.

Great location with a cafe/restaurant downstairs. Small room but manageable, small shower but willing to have a small shower due to the location. Staff are great too. Breakfast was good and included eggs and espresso coffee. We had a great view onto the street from our apartment very beautiful.

We stayed 12 days there while visiting Rome. The location is perfect as most major sites and the train station are within an easy 15 to 30 minute walk. And for the sites that aren't, the hotel is down the road from Carvour Metro stop (going towards the termini station, coming from the termini station the station is up the stairs and across the street) making everything easy to get to. The staff are all vey nice and professional, and the breakfast buffet is good. There is an elevator to f... Read more

This is a wee gem of a hotel with really helpful staff, who speak excellent English, it has simple but spotlessly clean rooms and great air-conditioning. It's a 1 minute walk to Via Cavour metro station, a 10 minute walk to the Coliseum and on its doorstep are many restaurants and bars. It also feels like a safe area and has a bustling vibe in the Suburra district. It has a lovely roof garden, and serves good breakfasts - the usual continental fare. I would both recommend this hotel to friend... Read more

The location is fantastic, a less than 15 minute walk to the train station and is located on a quiet street. There is loads of restaurants outside the hotel and is just 2minute walk to a great fountain where locals and tourists gather at night and have a drink together. The hotel is also a great base to set off an explore Rome. It is very close to the tech fountain also. The breakfast was fab with cereals and pastries etc, and the coffee was really nice. The roof top terrace was fantastic to ... Read more

Ideal location for seeing most of the sights that Rome has to offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Single rooms so small and pokey that it feels unpleasant to stay in them. One of the single rooms didn't even have curtains! The showers we saw in the double and single rooms were so small that you had to open the screens to have enough room to wash...disappointing.

Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The rooms are tiny but it's an old hotel in an old city so it's what I expected. Many people commented on the shower being small and they were right, if you drop anything you have to get out to pick it up. The breakfast is the usual continental fare but nice.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights from Sunday to Thursday. The hotel is a perfect location close to the colosseum and Roman forum. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! The shower was very small that would be my only criticism. There was also a lovely little pizzeria behind the hotel and an amazing creperie down the road!

Stayed here for two nights while I ran through all the major tourist events in Romà and couldn't have been happier? 7 minute walk from the Colosseo and the Roman Forum and arch of Constantine, surrounded by bars and restaurants once you start dipping off up the streets to explore, they serve a decent breakfast every morning at 0730 which most folks don't take advantage of so the food is fresh and not picked over, the staff is friendly as heck and although I only had the single room because this... I stayed in the hotel for 2 days during my stay in Rome. The location is excellent, cause is 3 minutes away from the metro station Cavour and 1 stop away from the Roma Termini, main station. Also it is 15 minutes walking from Colosseum and not more then 25 - 30 minutes walking from Fontana di Trevi and Spanish Square. Breakfast is very good, and all the staff is very polite, communicative and know good english. I have to say just that my room was really really small (i read they have also superi... Read more

This place was awesome! The staff were great, the rooms were clean, the rooftop terrace was amazing and the location was fantastic! It was off the beaten path just a bit, so you got a feel for the unique places around you, but it was close to everything. The price was really, really reasonable!

I just spent 5 nights at Hotel Ivanhoe. The front staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as were the cleaning ladies. The hotel was clean and the breakfast room very nice with just the right amount of items for a continental breakfast. Yes, my room was quite small and the bathroom was very small and with little room to move around. The shower was too small for me to close the door; HOWEVER, it was charming, clean and friendly - and located about 10 minutes walk from the Coliseum, good ea... Read more

This was in a wonderful location , near the Coliseum. Nice neighborhood, lots of great places to eat nearby. The hotel rooms were small, but clean . It was nice that you could open the windows for fresh air, but had shutters that closed that kept out any street noise at night. The staff was very friendly and professional. They served breakfast of cereal, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, yogurt , croisssants etc. They would make you coffee specialties (latte etc. on request.) Breakfast was ... Read more

The hotel is in a great spot about a 10-15min walk from Termini station and is only about a 5 min walk from the colosseum and the Roman Forum. The hotel was very clean throughout and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice. Would definitely stop here again in the future.

Picked this hotel out a year before we went. It had everything we were looking for, location was central, had a good breakfast and a good price. And that was exactly what we got. We are happy with our choice. We wanted the Monti area, near the ruins and lots of places to eat. The staff are the shining star here. They really try and help with everything and seem to be working well with each other. Kristiana was very helpful, going beyond what was expected. Alessio knew after the first day what I ... Read more
