The location was easily accessible to the Main train station which is what we based our choice of hotels. 10 euro cab ride or 10 minute walk. The room was ok for 3 people but not much space to move around in which is fine as it was only to sleep in. Breakfast was ok, standard fare and nothing flash. Staff attitudes varied depending on night or day. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless. Wifi was terrible and as I was travelling with 2 teenagers this was a problem.

Make no mistake this is a budget hotel but it does have some charm. The decor is individual if a little tired in a few places. The location is good being 10 mins walk from Termini station so you can get on the metro from there. It's half an hour walk to Spanish Steps and a little further to the Colloseum. Staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was adequate but the breakfast room was quite cold on a winter morning. The room was ok but the wifi is not very strong and run through an inse... The room was very comfortable. The food, breakfast is great! Rnel and Pina gave us excellent service !!. The location is quite and NOT far away from the center. You can walk to all famous sites by feet. Me and my wife got extra bed for our baby without extra charge.

We stayed at Gambrinus for a 5 night city break in September 2015. Upon arriving the receptionist gave us a map and pointed out the most interesting places to see. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. After the first night I requested a room upgrade and they accepted my request without a problem. We were given a room with an incredible city view! We really had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was ok. It isn't the most luxurious hotel we have ever been to but it is more than good e... Read more

We stayed at this hotel and were impressed by the location and cleanliness. The room was a little on the small side, however we were there to see the sights of Rome so didn't linger in our room much. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was plentiful. There is the most amazing ice cream shop at the end of the road and the pizza restaurant opposite the hotel was fantastic!

Located in a north east neighbourhood which was 15 min walk from the train station with roller suitcase in tow. Not super close to the main attractions but we found Rome to be a small town relatively so no great hardship. Friendly staff but we were asked for a credit card (a visa debit card would not do apparently) or 100E cash for security. Fair enough but I don't carry a credit card, fortunately my partner found a Barclaycard in her purse after some tense searching. We booked two singles onlin... Read more

Me and my partner stayed here 13th to 16th October. The hotel was lovel in a good location. Breakfast were continental style with some hot options. The only fault was that our room was very small. Other than this highly enjoyable stay

We had a great stay in this hotel and it was referred to us by our travel agent. We had a standard room for 2 and yet found it very spacious compared to other European hotels (more of a North American size). Things were a bit dated but we found it was very clean and pleasant. The washroom was a bit interesting, I'm 5' 4" and felt like a 5yr old again, the way my feet dangled off the tall toilet...a tall person's dream I'm sure! The shower was basically 2 folding doors that you pull out and c... Read more

This hotel was recommended to us and we loved staying there. The staff in making arrangements were great, helpful and gracious, arranging all transfers from airport to hotel and hotel,to pier. Roberta is fantastic. Also the breakfasts were delightful, Raul and his accompanying staff made sure everything was up to par, hot and always full, the coffee machine was explained to us, it was fun to use, he even went out of his way to get us some when needed and if something wasn't there, all you had to... This hotel is well placed in a delightful area with plenty of restaurants nearby. We walked everywhere, but is well located for public transport. the rooms were clean, and we all appreciated the kettle. Breakfast was good with excellent coffee, and the staff were all helpful. The one let down was the bathroom, or more accurately, the shower; it was tiny and there was no way of escaping the water as the shower head was fixed so could not be directed. On the Sunday morning of our stay the hot wat... Read more
