Visited for the rugby. Staff very pleasant. Quick check in at 10pm. Rooms are great for what we wanted as a base for 4 nights. Enough room for everything. Bathroom is compact but does the job. Breakfast on top floor.. cereals/juices/yoghurts/pastries/boiled eggs/cold meats/rolls.. plenty to fill up on. Loads of restaurants/shops in area. Would def stay here again.. thank you.

Very well located, small but beautiful and cozy rooms, good breakfast and excellent quality-to-price ratio. All of the three recepcionist we met were attentive, polite and very helpful, one of them even spanish spoken. It is a highly recommenden hotel if you want a perfect time in such a beautiful city.

The hotel is a great affordable, convenient, and comfortable place to stay, in a very accessible neighborhood for public transit and sights in Rome. Simple, yet hearty, breakfast provided, and a good wifi signal.

I have gone in many hotels in the center of Rome and I have to express that Doria hotel is perfect for 3* hotel. It is near Termini, 5-7 min on foot from the metro, in front of one of the most significant churches in Rome, Santa Maria Maggiore. The stuff was very polite, the wifi was good, the breakfast was excellent and the room was furnished very good. Clean, every day they was changing the towels and good mattress. For sure I would come again

I stayed here with my sister for two nights on a short trip. The people who worked there were very nice and helpful. Our room was two single beds on the first floor, which I was worried about because I am a light sleeper, but you could barely hear any noise and the room was completely dark when the windows were properly closed. It is a bit of a walk to get to the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum but with the Termini metro/train station really close by it wasn't a problem at all! The breakfast wa... Read more

We stayed here for four nights and used it as our base for exploring the city. It's in a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and sights within walking distance. It was clean and had a friendly staff, and a decent, if not exciting breakfast. It may have the world's smallest elevator so be prepared to hoof it up to the sixth floor for breakfast (work off some of last night's pasta). Our room also had a rather "compact" bathroom, so it is not for NFL or NBA players. I'd rate it somewhere... Read more

We booked this hotel last minute because we had been let down for our hotel room with lowcostholidays. This is a pretty central hotel not far from the Colleseum and Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. Rooms are pretty small and ours had the smallest shower known to man. Despite this we had a lovely stay for the weekend! The staff are lovely and the breakfast is lovely on the terrace on the roof. Would stay again.

Second time staying at the Doria hotel. It's not my usual choice of hotel, but as a good budget base, this one has it's charms. It's close to the Termini station, so getting to the hotel is super easy. Yep - it's got a tiny lift for one person - but this is Rome, not Las Vegas, so take it as 'charming', or get a good workout using the stairs. The gentlemen on reception are actually quite lovely Italians. They say hello and good evening and will store your bags if you need to.. it's brief and to... Read more

We used this hotel only for the purpose of a stopover, as the next day we were leaving for the airport. Both the night and morning hotel desk staff were rude and have no clue what it means to be in the service industry. Is it asking too much for you to say hello and ask how we are doing? The room is tiny and the bathroom is so small that you can barely close the shower door. Could never stay here for more than one night. We stayed in an apartment just down the road for a week and the overall ... Read more

Simple Hotel... no to be enjoyed but to spend all day around and be back to rest.Good service, clean room. Very good breakfast served at 6th floor. Nice personnel. Located at 4 blocks from Termini Station there are cafeterias and supermarkets around , the Rome central market is near by. Good location, 15 min walking from coliseum. Positive experience!!!!
