I stayed at this hotel for seven nights with my son. I asked for tea and coffee service in room which was provided free of charge as soon as we checked in our room 106. Staff excellent all round. Room well decorated with all necessary electronic plugs plus a big TV. Breakfast was excellent, they can improve only by frying bacon properly not burning and not making scramble eggs as hard as rock. The only complaint that I have for this hotel is; and I would like an answer from the director of thi... Read more

I really liked the room design, made me feel just a bit like in a palace because of the nice paitings. I recommend it to couples, being a bit romantic. But also seemed a bit noisy. The location is ok, just one subway station from Termini, or a 10 min walk. Breakfast was ok as well, but did not impress me in any way.

Myself and my husband visited here for 3 nights on the 11th December. From the moment we arrived at check in the lady who spoke to us was very nice and was extremely helpful. Another member of staff took us to our room,he also carried our bags. On the second night our toilet broke and within 15 minutes of our call to reception someone was up with us and the toilet was fixed. Breakfast was a plenty. Although I ate little (I'm a fussy eater) my husband was usually full. He couldn't fault the f... Read more

Stayed here for 5 nts. Everything you need from a rome hotel.... Comfy mattress, hot water, good shower, quiet rooms and a good selection of food for breakfast. Room was cleaned and received clean towels every day. Close to the metro and only an easy 10 minute walk to the termini. Staff were friendly and courteous. Excellent restaurant 2 doors down '3 archi' served excellent food...gluten free too! Booked through easyjet holidays but can easily book separately.

I have looked on the 'booking.com' site and the pictures are very different to what the place actually is. The rooms don't have those nice throws or nice pillows on, the bathrooms are not that spotless-our bathroom smelt, the toilet seat was half coming off and there were all black chippings in the bath, the screen to pull across for the shower was half coming off. The garden on the terrace is a joke, it looks absolutely nothing like the picture, the chairs and tables are worn, the fences around... Read more

Our stay at The Artists. It was a nice time in the end of November. Although period was not encouraged to explore Rome, we prefer that time, when there is no crowds, where you can leisurely walk through this beautiful city. Especially when you have a possibility to use such a wonderful starting point as Des Artistes! Our selection of this hotel was a great option. In every respect. Both nice, polite staff (especially helpful and sympathetic was Dymitri), neat, clean rooms, a rich and tasty break... Read more

The best thing about the hotel is that it is very close to the city center and especially to Roma Termini (at about 10 minutes of walking) from where you can reach any point of Rome very fastly. The staff is very friendly and they speak very good English. Besides, they offer free luggage keeping service which is very comfortable for the last day of your trip. The prices are very convenient for such a nice place. The only thing that was a bit disturbing is that to have wifi you should pay 2 euros... Read more

Had a 7-day stay in Oct, 2016. Though a bit of a walk from Termini train station (about 10 minutes, lugging a roller bag), it's pretty convenient for accessing all we wanted to do in touring the city. Metro line just behind hotel, so access to Rome's very limited Metro system was very easy. 4th floor room (accessible via lift from lobby) was very, very clean & pleasant, with some nice artwork on display. Wi-fi was free, I think due to our booking through Booking.com. Never had a room anywhere i... Read more

A group of 7 stayed in the hotel for a 60th birthday trip in 2 double rooms and one triple room. On arrival at the hotel the receptionist was extremely helpful and checked us in early. As I had emailed them previously to explain that were were on a trip for a birthday, a complementary bottle of wine was given to us for the celebration, which was a lovely touch. On arrival to our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotless and spacious for European rooms. Beds were comfortabl... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel on several trips to Rome. The first time was shortly after the Euro currency (notes and coins) was initiated in Italy and other parts of the Eurozone. Over the last decade plus of going there I have seen steady improvement in design of the reception area, buffet breakfast area and its offerings, appearance of the rooms and so forth. The staff at reception has always been helpful but was particularly so this time. All spoke English well. Some of the rooms are rath... Read more
