My husband and I stayed at Hotel Artemide for several days in Rome and we are so glad we did. The hotel is located a very short walk from the main Termini Train station. We were able to quickly take the train from the airport and the walk from the station was only about 5 minutes. We were also able to easily walk all over most of Rome from the hotel, including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, the Forum, Trastevere area etc. In fact, we only once used any transportation besides walki... This property has been completely remodeled and whoever the designer was, they really knew what they were doing. All the materials, color schemes, fixtures and furniture were just beautiful. We stayed in a deluxe double with a little more space and the room was very comfortable. The staff was absolutely top notch, very helpful and always pleasant. The breakfast was one of the best we have seen in a European hotel and the servers were quite attentive. We also tried the rooftop restaurant for... Read more

All the staff we encountered during our stay were kind and helpful and the breakfasts were amazing too. Location is great...walkable to all the sights and entertainment but not sma... Read more

The Artemide is a lovely hotel within reasonable walking distance of the Colosseum and other sights. It is classily decorated and furnished and immaculately clean. We spent a week there with the objective of seeing the main sights. We walked everywhere except to the Vatican when we took a taxi. If we hadn't been delayed we could have easily taken the metro which is five minutes away. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant where we had lunch on the first day and dinner during the week. Spent 3 nights here with family (2 rooms (double and triple)). Was a wonderful hotel and staff. Breakfast was great start to each morning and ending at the rooftop bar was also wonderful. The staff were exceptional and very friendly from check in to check out. Only had one negative experience with the lead waiter, who was rude, but may have been an anomaly. His staff definitely were wonderful the entire time.

Excellent, spacious triple room with great soundproofing, very helpful staff. Our trip was a special one for a birthday and an anniversary for which the wonderful team gave us a lovely bottle of wine and personal messages. Breakfast was very enjoyable with little touches and tasters that gave a special feel. Great value airport transfer.

Without doubt the best hotel we have stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble from the extremely helpful staff. Restaurant served up some amazing food and the rooftop bar made a perfect place to finish the day. Hopefully we will return to Rome one day and should we do so it will be at The Artemide Hotel.

Very nice hotel with stellar staff working throughout. Rooms were very comfortable, updated and complimentary minibar! Our rooms were together with a single outer door which could be locked alone and the interiors could have been left open if we'd have chosen. Breakfast very good, dinner was OK.

Throughly enjoyed our stay here! Room was roomy and well designed with an up to date bathroom and lots of outlets and USB chargers! Mini bar was complimentary and electric kettle to make coffee and tea! Room was spotless, room service fast and tasty and breakfast each morning was excellent! Air conditioning was perfect and much better than our previous hotel in Florence. Would highly recommend!

One of the best hotels I've stayed! Central location in Rome, the train station is around the corner, shops right outside the hotel all along Via Nazionale. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Gelato shop right next door! Friendly and responsive staff, wonderful breakfast buffet, immaculate guest and bathroom. They offer snacks such as crackers, Loacker wafers, candy; water/soda in the fridge - all free of charge. Can't say anything bad because this is a top notch hotel. Will stay here again!

We stayed there for three nights while in Rome. The hotel itself was very nice and modern. We had a deluxe double which may be bigger than some of their other rooms, but it was perfect size for us. It was typical of a larger US hotel room. The bathroom had a larger shower that easily could have fit two people. The room was modern and clean. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. This hotel was good, it was located in a decent location but you are 15 mins walk from the colosseum and about 15 min walk from the Trevi fountain. When we first checked in we stayed in room 619 - avoid this room as it's literally 150 square feet and I actually felt claustrophobic. If there was a rating higher then Excellent the Artemide would get it. We picked this hotel off the great Trip Advisor ratings as our end of trip indulgence and it was perfect. So why so good? First the location, perfect to wander sightseeing and shopping, so much in walking distance (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum and more). The amenities are modern and excellent including little surprises like fog free mirrors in the bathroom. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. We spent several nights in this beautiful hotel with our family. The rooms are lovely and the service was impeccable. The most extraordinary event, however, was the breakfast buffet. We had stayed here 5 years ago with no problems but this time we had a couple of serious problems. The first implied presumably a case of housekeeping not communicating with maintenance. On the first evening my wife went to take a shower then I hear her calling out that she is stuck - the shower door, which was all plate glass, and hence very heavy, had come partially off its runners and she couldn't get it open sufficiently to get out - trapped naked in a shower. I managed to eventually to open... Read more

We stayed at Hotel Artemide for four days in September prior to a cruise. Good location with many restaurants nearby. Fifteen minute walk to the Colosseum. The staff is simply top notch. The room was comfortable and modern. But, the best part of the hotel is the restaurant and outdoor patio on the top floor. Also, the included breakfast is as good as any I've every had in a hotel. Tiramisu for breakfast? -- why not? Five stars. Very highly recommended.

Superior hotel in the heart of Rome. The best ever desk staff of Davide and Ivan making sure you have the best stay ever. Rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. The shower is to die for. Room drinks and snacks are complimentary and refilled daily. Breakfast comes with the room and includes 5 different eggs, eight different juices, ham and sausage, omelet, cheeses and lunch meat, fruit, cold cereal, and an abundance of breads and pastries. I have booked our stay at hotel Artemide after it was recommended to me by our friends so we had high expectations. I must say we were not disappointed. Everything from the location to room facilities and staff was just excellent. All members of staff were very welcoming and helpful. We both travel with work and have over the years stayed in many hotels but this is definitely one of our favourite ones.

I booked our stay at Hotel Artemide after posting a request of friends on FACEBOOK. My previous boss & wife happened to have just stayed there and highly recommended it. We were not disappointed in any way. The hotel has recently been completely renovated. Lots of slab marble, modern lighting and leather decor. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite...much to our surprise. Everything was lovely including the breakfast provided each morning. Food selection with totally gourmet including fresh pa... What more is there to say about this great hotel. The staff are so courteous and helpful. My wife and I have agreed they have probably provided the best breakfast of the 20 or so hotels that we have stayed at during our 4 month long travels. The rooms are very clean and perfectly presented. The 7th floor bar/ restaurant is delightful. Stay here if you are in Rome and want to have 5 star service

After reading alll the comments including the high end hotels, I decided to stay here .Very clean, modern, nicely decorated hotel. The Front bureau is very efficient. They help you out on everything and they always smile and make you feel welcome. The Rooms are small. The first room we stayed first night was I believe the smallest room I have ever stayed, when I asked for an another room they upgraded me (free of charge , was a lovely gesture ) the next morning. I believe most of the rooms hav... Read more

The Artemide Hotel is centrally located on Via Nazionale in Rome. Do not be deterred by its unassuming exterior! This is a hidden gem. Since we were celebrating our 43rd anniversary, they upgraded us to the penthouse suite. What a delightful bedroom, bath, sunroom and outside terrace with hot tub. Couldn't have been more comfortable. Their rooftop restaurant was very good and the complimentary breakfasts were delicious. All the public rooms were tastefully decorated. We enjoyed a couples massa... Read more

The hotel is clean and modern. All the staff -- especially the front desk staff -- was very friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have stated, the Comfort Double rooms are quite small (yes, I know it's Europe). The room was quiet and modern. Unfortunately, they were full and even paid upgrades were unavailable for our first three nights. You shouldn't spend much time in your room if you are visiting Rome anyway. For the fourth night, however, they upgraded us to the Honeymoon Suite on th... Read more

This hotel is clean and absolutely beautiful. The public areas have fantastic pieces of art and acres of marble so it is like staying at a private palazzo. Artemede is ideally placed in a central location off the Via Nazionale. For those making their way from Fiumicino the hotel is a stone's throw from Termini ( straightforward to navigate 10-15 mins max) and a short but beautiful stroll from all the major sights. Very few things beat catching sight of the colosseum whilst out for an evening wal... Read more

This hotel is new and modern. The staff are very helpful and friendly from the front desk, spa, and rooftop restaurant/bar. We usually had drinks on the roof every night before we went out and it is a great atmosphere. We went to the spa on two of the days we were there and it was very relaxing. My girlfriend scheduled a massage and says it is the best one she has ever had. We were also able to walk to every attraction other than the Vatican so it was very conveniently located. We'll definitely ... Read more

This is a lovely hotel, perfectly situated to see all the sights and for shopping too! The rooms are lovely, and the staff, ALL the staff, were absolutely fantastic. I have never stayed at a city centre hotel that has made me feel so at home. Three of us stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in a junior suite on the 4th floor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I planned this trip months in advance to celebrate my daughter's XV birthday. A few weeks before our trip our home was broken into and they took everything. I almost cancelled it. I'm glad I didn't. A couple of days before arriving I emailed the WONDERFUL staff of Hotel Artemide requesting a little surprise for my daughter to make her feel a little better. When we arrived they exceeded my expectations. It was such a wonderful moment. Tiramisu , balloons and a card were already in our room. ... Read more

On our first trip to Rome we were so happy we booked this hotel. From the minute we checked in the staff was friendly , gracious and happy to help with confirming our tours and giving us information about the area. This was our first trip to Rome so we spent ages sorting through pages of hotels, comparing the walking distance to every major attraction, checking transport links, restaurants, etc, etc... so now I'll just save anyone reading this the hassle and say this: Stay here! The location is fantastic - it's within easy walking distance to virtually everywhere (except The Vatican, but that's tucked out the way of most places, so don't let that put you off. You're right near a metro station here anyway,... Read more

This is a hotel which met or exceeded all our expectations. Having flown into Fiumicino we caught the non-stop train into Rome's Termini Station and the hotel is only a short walk. It is very well positioned on Via Nazionale, so for our stay we walked everywhere. The Reception Staff were very friendly and our room was well equipped, with one very nice touch: the Minibar was free and topped up daily. Our visit to Rome was partly to celebrate my birthday and we were very touched to find a bot... Read more
