Hotel Alpi has everything you can ask for. Very friendly staff, who speaks fine English and offers their help with everything needed. Nice rooms, where we even got a room with a balcony at no extra charge. In walking distance from all the must-see points of interest in Rome.

I would recommend The Alpi Hotel for anyone looking for somewhere where transportation around Rome is easily accessible, the hotel is very near the Termini Station where you have the use of Metro to main sites, buses and hop on hop off buses etc. it is no hassle, our room was quite small comparing to pictures, we were going to ask for something bigger but decided not to as we weren't spending a lot of time in the room anyway, we were out and about, we went to the terrace on the 3rd floor on two ... We stayed here for five nights - perfect little hotel, lovely room, very friendly staff and a really cute terrace with a bar. Five mins walk from the train station and on a quiet street so no noise from traffic or bars although close enough to centre of Rome to walk to the tourist spots if you don't want to take the metro. Perfect for what we wanted.

A short walk from the train station this charming small hotel was a joy. Staff was very helpful recommending "non-touristy" restaurants and figuring out the metro system. The room was lovely and the terrace an added benefit and the breakfast was extraordinary.

We stayed at the Alpi Hotel for 3 nights, the location of the hotel is excellent, although you are just out of the center it is within easy walking distance to all the major sites, or you could do as we did and get on a hop on hop off bus ! Which is just down the road. The hotel staff were excellent on check in and really helpful, also Ali who served us at the garden bar area could not have been any more helpful, he thoroughly enjoys his job and makes you very very welcome, he is a real asset t... We have stayed at Hotel Alpi four times now and each visit has been very enjoyable. The hotel is quite close to the main Central Rome railway station and allows good access to walk or bus down into the busier parts of Rome. The hotel rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. We choose a premium room that has a balcony that overlooks the street. it is lovely to sit and have a drink and snack there at the end of the day. The hotel also has two terraces with bar service, and friendly staff. We... Read more

Firstly the good news, in that the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There is a lovely small roof terrace on the 3rd floor where you can relax a bit. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids so asked for a family room - which was decent sized but not so nice inside. There was a big window with a wall right in front so we had no natural light. The mattresses on the beds were very hard - so my daughter slept on her pillow. The shower (no bath) was nice and powerful - at least until... Read more

Good value for money. Very friendly & helpful staff. Loved the design of the hotel, especially the entertaining lifts. Nicely appointed room with a modern bathroom, great shower. It was nice to sit in the bar terrace for an evening drink. Breakfast was ok, the toaster was underpowered, we had slightly warmed up bread rather than actual toast. Location is 5 mins walk from Termini station, so it's a great location to access public transport in Rome and to get to the airport.

Very nice hotel with lovely terraced patio in back. Ali, the concierge, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He even walked us to a nearby restaurant which is now easily one of my favorite meals I've ever had in Italy. Ali made our short stay in Rome super memorable.

Visited Rome for my birthday last month. What a place! Hotel is very clean, great customer service (although we did have an issue with paperwork and credit card receipts getting misplaced by hotel staff on checkout). The location is a good 20 minute walk from most attractions I.e Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and a short taxi ride to Vatican City. It is also a 5 minute walk from the main train station (Termini). The breakfast was ok a few bits to choose from. I did also get a slice of cake ... Read more

Not only is this hotel walking distance to the station, but it is a great value for the price and what it offers. The rooms were clean and well furnished. My room faced the piazza and I heard nothing, it was great. The A/C worked beautifully and was quiet. Continental breakfast was impressive. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Room small but pleasant. Decent quality beds and linen. Very close to Termini station only 5 mins walk. Breakfast included is helpful, its continental and not bad and no queuing like large hotels. We stayed here for 2 nights in early November 2014. The staff was helpful and check-in was easy. We were able to walk to several places and there are a couple of metro stops nearby. And we walked there from the train station when we arrived to Rome. The elevator is super tiny so i preferred the stairs :) There is also a nice rooftop patio, and our view from the room wasn't bad either.

Stayed here twice, once for 5 nights and another overnight. Location is great, a short 5 min walk from Termini station and even shorter to subway. Surrounded by grocery store, pharmacies, laundry, and tons of restaurants, but also many other hotels.
