Just back from a 4 night stay in this hotel and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the deluxe double room and it had a quirky little terrace - big enough for a table and 2 chairs - which gave us amazing views of the surrounding roof tops! The furniture in the room is traditional rather than modern giving you the feel of Italy. Plenty hanging space as well as drawers and a dressing table. The bathroom was a decent size with large shower cubicle and power shower. Plenty mirrors good lighting o... Read more

Hotel Alexandra is in a great neighborhood and has excellent service; the location is within walking distance to many things to see and do. Upon our arrival, we discovered that there was a snafu with our reservation, but Carlo quickly found us a room at the hotel next door for the night and arranged for our luggage to be transferred back to Hotel Alexandra the next morning (all we had to do was leave our luggage in the reception area). On the up side - Hotel Alexandra was a lovely hotel, in a great position for seeing all the main attractions which were in walking distance - breakfast was good, lots of variety. Our room was lovely, really clean, fresh towels everyday - however, on the down side - we requested twin beds for myself and my friend and upon arrival were told that they only had a double bed and if we wanted two single beds we would have to pay an extra ‚?¨30 each for a four night stay, so that was really annoying. Book this hotel on a friends recommendation and it didn't disappoint. It is located 30secs from Barberini metro and square and 5mins from Trevi fountain. Maybe 20 from coliseum and 30 from Vatican. All sites are pretty close to each other once you get your bearings. Hotel was more than we expected. Really clean. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast was everything you required. Would stay again and recommend.

The hotel is located at the perfect spot: Via Veneto and Barbarini Fountain. Walking distance to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Lots of shops and restaurants all around. Most convenient of all - the Metro is right on the corner and you can get anywhere within minutes. There are hotels for the same money much much better than this one. Breakfast is below average. Will never stay there again. It is better to stay somewhere further from center and use taxi...

We have stayed in a nearby hotel before and decided to stay at Hotel Alexandra on this trip. The hotel was very comfortable and has been remodeled. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The location was excellent. Near to Metro, restaurants. It was a good value. We will stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

The staff is very accomodating. We arrived early ,and they... Read more

What we truly enjoyed was the proximity to the metro station - approx 150 meters away. really great! Breakfast was quite good and the service was pretty good. At the beginning of October they usually stop the AC. It was still pretty warm so we found out that AC was available upon request. We truly enjoye... Read more
