At the end of a vacation in Italy we flew out of Rome and we're looking for a hotel close to the airport. This is comfortable hotel- the restaurant was fine- nothing special but a good meal. The staff at this hotel were great- extremely helpful. We took the hotel shuttle to the airport- an easy end to the trip advise- directions were unclear to me and had some difficult finding the train to Muratella- you must exit the station, turn right and walk approx 100 meters to the train station- you wil... On the positive side, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. You can access their bus to the airport and to the subway (for a fee), and the front desk staff were friendly and cooperative. Breakfast is a reasonably OK buffet. On the other hand, the walls are paper thin so you can hear every noise, most of the rest of the staff are dismissive and rude, the prices for beer and food is astronomical even by Rome standards and overpriced at a tenth the cost (they have you as a captive audi... The staff from the hotel is kind and they are a good source to know how to travel around the city, the bar is a great place to drink and is a paceful place, the food from the restaurant is pretty good.

On a business trip to outskirts of Rome - spent here 2 nights. Hotel is clean with hospitable stuff. Taxi from airport is around 30 euros. Location is not central so I am not sure if I would take it for turisic stay.

Very good hotel at all. Large rooms, very clean, very good food. The personal at the reception was very friendly and responsive. Nearby to the hotel is a good pizzeria also. To reach the central part of the city i used the train. In fact the train station is just on five minutes walk from the hotel - you have to buy a ticket from the hotel. In opposite direction the train will leave you at the airport. With that train you can reach Vatican city for 15 minutes (and just 1-2 euro spent), There is... Read more

Alitalia was delayed (as usual) and I had to spend the night. Hotel personnel is very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. They has a shuttle to the airport. I recommend this hotel if you need to spend the night and go back early to the airport.

Stayed here for the location close to airport. Restaurant was not very good and the amenities locally weren't great, needed a cab to get a decent meal. Room was large and the bed comfortable. The room was not "dirty" but older and showing its age. Shower needs refurbishing.

We stayed at this hotel as we were seeking somewhere not right in the centre of the city and with some outdoor space. Firstly the good points - the hotel has a large and airy seating area as you come into the hotel and the staff behind the desk are friendly and efficient. Moving further on, the bar area is a bit dated and was very expensive for drinks (9 euro for a half pint of lager), so we avoided it after our first night. The restaurant is a very typical "hotel restaurant" without a lot of ... Read more

PROs: It is just at the center of parco de medici business area. Since I was there for business reasons, this was very convenient for me. I liked the fact that it had a little gym and sauna. They had free kettle, few different types of tea and coffee in the rooms. This might be small but certainly something I needed. The staff was generally quite friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and cosy with sufficient bathrooms. WiFi was more than enough for all my needs, and available anywhere in the ho... Read more

Let me just start by saying that the two stars that I did give here were for the cleanliness and for the staff. Nothing to blame here on that or them. Where this hotel REALLY fails is in how it's set up and the "misinformation" that it gives to potential guests. So was traveling with family, and had a night stay in Rome before my flight back to the USA. Looked around for a hotel, and while there were a few hotels closer, the Holiday Inn was a little cheaper and offered a "free" shuttle to th... Read more

We chose this hotel for proximity to the airport on a one night stop. Our kids were thrilled with the large outdoor pool-- which was a perfect place to re-charge after our flight. It's close enough to hop into the city-- which we did for dinner in the lovely Trastevere neighborhood via Uber. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable. We took the shuttle to the airport in the morning-- easy!

Good location and rate to be in Rome. Still as not being renovate as the latest charming hotel but the general election Vel is always good. Now with happy hour in the evening is a place to be. Rate below 100? most of the time and full continental breakfast. Reception always fast and accurate also when turist crowd the lobby. 4 on 5 just because is getting vintage!

First off...there is a shuttle from the airport but it has a schedule so check the times...they leave from the bus area of the arrivals...and it's quite a walk...we missed it by 10 minutes and had to take a taxi and it was 40E to the hotel..the shuttle also has a fee. Hotel is your typical Holiday Inn product..modern, good beds etc. restaurant, bar and pool area. They do have adjoining rooms. There are no safes in the rooms.

Very large hotel located in the area of hotels outside the city . Close to the highway and the airport . Very accessible and convenient to reach in a short time to the airport . Large bright rooms . Very clean . Efficient service . Restaurant reasonable but expensive . Good breakfast . Thin walls so you can hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms . Overall recommended

Rooms are modern and comfortable but service and amenities are definitely NOT 4-star. Very limited restaurant and pool hours. Airport shuttle very infrequent and not included in room price. Also there is very little else around the hotel. We wanted to use the in-room coffee supplies that were not stocked sufficiently for the three of us staying in the room. When we called housekeeping to order more supplies we were told they would not provide more. Surprised that a supposed 4-star hotel woul... Read more

We chose this hotel for the proximity to the airport on a 5 day stay. My daughters were happy with the large outdoor pool-- which was a perfect place to re-charge after walking around visiting Rome. It's close enough to go into the city. Room was spacious and clean except for stain in carpet. We took the shuttle to the hotel.

I am here for business so the location is perfect, and I got a "business room" The room are specious and clean. It has a nice desk and a big sofa. There is a NICE Detail of a kettle and courtesy instant coffee and tea, but there are no spoons nor stirrers. There is a nice pool which I can see from my window, as I said I am on business so I did not have the change to enjoy it I called the reception at 6:45 am asking for an iron, and the answer was: "I am sorry sir we do not have one available... I guess that Holiday Inn in this case had to adapt to the Italian standards, sometimes the staff are polite and sometimes rude. Sometimes the internet is Ok, and some other times it is very slow or not working at all. The good things: rooms are large, comfortable bed. Nice pool, close to airport. The less good things: thick walls, you can hear everything in the room near you or the corridors. The hotel is quite far from Rome Center and also from the metro or train station. They offer a shuttle... Read more

Rome is a wonderful city to visit, and staying at this hotel made it very easy for us. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Access to public transport was simple and effective. One of the shuttle bus drivers (in particular) was kind, helpful and a pleasure to chat with. We would happily stay again.
