At the end of a vacation in Italy we flew out of Rome and we're looking for a hotel close to the airport. This is comfortable hotel- the restaurant was fine- nothing special but a good meal. The staff at this hotel were great- extremely helpful. We took the hotel shuttle to the airport- an easy end to the trip advise- directions were unclear to me and had some difficult finding the train to Muratella- you must exit the station, turn right and walk approx 100 meters to the train station- you wil... On the positive side, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. You can access their bus to the airport and to the subway (for a fee), and the front desk staff were friendly and cooperative. Breakfast is a reasonably OK buffet. On the other hand, the walls are paper thin so you can hear every noise, most of the rest of the staff are dismissive and rude, the prices for beer and food is astronomical even by Rome standards and overpriced at a tenth the cost (they have you as a captive audi... Very good hotel at all. Large rooms, very clean, very good food. The personal at the reception was very friendly and responsive. Nearby to the hotel is a good pizzeria also. To reach the central part of the city i used the train. In fact the train station is just on five minutes walk from the hotel - you have to buy a ticket from the hotel. In opposite direction the train will leave you at the airport. With that train you can reach Vatican city for 15 minutes (and just 1-2 euro spent), There is... Read more

Stayed here for the location close to airport. Restaurant was not very good and the amenities locally weren't great, needed a cab to get a decent meal. Room was large and the bed comfortable. The room was not "dirty" but older and showing its age. Shower needs refurbishing.

We stayed at this hotel as we were seeking somewhere not right in the centre of the city and with some outdoor space. Firstly the good points - the hotel has a large and airy seating area as you come into the hotel and the staff behind the desk are friendly and efficient. Moving further on, the bar area is a bit dated and was very expensive for drinks (9 euro for a half pint of lager), so we avoided it after our first night. The restaurant is a very typical "hotel restaurant" without a lot of ... Read more

PROs: It is just at the center of parco de medici business area. Since I was there for business reasons, this was very convenient for me. I liked the fact that it had a little gym and sauna. Let me just start by saying that the two stars that I did give here were for the cleanliness and for the staff. Nothing to blame here on that or them. Where this hotel REALLY fails is in how it's set up and the "misinformation" that it gives to potential guests. So was traveling with family, and had a night stay in Rome before my flight back to the USA. Looked around for a hotel, and while there were a few hotels closer, the Holiday Inn was a little cheaper and offered a "free" shuttle to th... Read more

We chose this hotel for proximity to the airport on a one night stop. Our kids were thrilled with the large outdoor pool-- which was a perfect place to re-charge after our flight. It's close enough to hop into the city-- which we did for dinner in the lovely Trastevere neighborhood via Uber. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable. We took the shuttle to the airport in the morning-- easy!

Rate below 100? most of the time and full continental breakfast. Reception always fast and accurate also when turist crowd the lobby. 4 on 5 just because is getting vintage!

First off...there is a shuttle from the airport but it has a schedule so check the times...they leave from the bus area of the arrivals...and it's quite a walk...we missed it by 10 minutes and had to take a taxi and it was 40E to the hotel..the shuttle also has a fee. Hotel is your typical Holiday Inn product..modern, good beds etc. restaurant, bar and pool area. They do have adjoining rooms. There are no safes in the rooms.

Our stay here was very comfortable. It was by far the most "American" hotel we stayed in while in Italy. Just like here in the states, nice size room, good bed, lots of pillows. After more than a week of rock hard twin size beds with paper thin pillows, this was a real nice change of pace. My only complaint is the location. Quite a ways out of the city center. The hotel will give you a lift to the subway station, for a small fee. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Good Hotel.

First of all, the hotel is about the same quality room and facilities that you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Not luxurious, but generally a good value for the money. The hotel was very classy and the room was fantastic. We had breakfast included and the food was good enough although there were flies around the toast one day which was very off putting. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from muratella train station which is very cheap and handy for visiting all the sites. Only disappointment I experienced at the hotel was that the pool area is closed in October and we would have liked some entertainment in the evening, but all in all we had a delightful stay.

Stayed at this hotel at the end of a two-week vacation in Italy (vacation rental by the sea), the night before catching our flight home from Leonardo Da Vinci airport. Shuttle service to the airport was especially convenient, and on time. Our room was clean and spacious. We had supper in the bar area and it was fine... comfortable and casual (beer, wine, and a great club sandwich!), which is what we were looking for after an afternoon relaxing by the hotel's outdoor pool.
