Staff were very friendly, rooms were decent and clean. Location could've been better, although we had a hire car and there is a shuttle that takes you to the metro station. Area was slightly less desirable along a complicated road system. There was a petrol station a Maccy D's and a sandwich shop which we walked to on our first night at about midnight and was confronted with prostitutes and a floor covered in used condoms. Breakfast and dinner were average, pool was shut as not in season. Car pa... Read more

Recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Aurelia during a business trip to Rome. I am a Platinum Elite member with IHG hotels so have stayed at many Holidays Inn's and this one is a little disappointing. The location is good being a 20 min drive from the center of Rome and the service was good. However the room I was given was a little dated and could do with some modernisation. The restaurant and breakfast were disappointing, the menu was pretty limited and the food was plain. My colleague and I actu... Read more

From the moment of check in to the end of our 7 day dream vacation, my sister and I were treated as though we were the only hotel guest. They were warm and inviting. Fabio and Sarah explained how to maneuver the subway. Giovanni road to the station and showed us how to purchase our tickets and where to pick up the subway. Maximilliano was always generous to help us with whatever we needed and arraigned a wonderful tour for us with pick up and drop off service. Gabriella was a genuine sweetheart.... Read more

I stayed here as part of a Pilgrimage. The room had a queen size bed, desk, and closet. There was coffee service in the room. The bathroom had a tub/shower combination and adequate lighting and space. The front desk were courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast was suitable. The prepared suppers were also good. The area was quiet and sat on hill above a McDonalds and walking distance to large grocery store.

Stayed here for a week in May. Hotel was clean if a little retro in its appearance. Room was clean and a reasonable size. Didn't really eat in the hotel but the bar service was very accommodating. Location is ok, but there is nothing in walking distance of the hotel other than a McDonald's and petrol station down a fairly steep hill. Taxi into central Rome was approx ?20. Oh, and it's worth checking when the pool is available, as in early May it was still closed and in the process of being re... Read more

We attended a conference at the hotel, but the internet connection was so slow we could hardly reed e-mails. This is a handicap for a business hotel. The rooms are clean, but the interior was modern a few decades ago and the TV pictures was of very poor quality. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay (very strange when the temperatures are this high) and the breakfast is ok compared to european style. I have to say that the hotel staff is extremely nice and service minded, and this in... Read more

First and foremost, there are five (i repeat 5!!!) Holiday Inns in Rome. We had to check in on Sunday (meaning the public transportation comes every 2hours). So it took us 5 hours to finally reach our destination. And imagine our surprise, we were NOT in the right Holiday Inn. The receptionists told us there are no other means of transportation to Holiday Inn Aurelia, only taxi, which costed us 25 euro... So the easiest way to reach Holiday Inn Aurelia is to use line A of the Metro and exit on C... Read more

This is a very basic hotel. The rooms are clean but really small and out dated. The shampoo and body wash provided was very shrapnel quality and smelled so bad that I did not want to use it! The breakfast buffets was really good but the Internet was really slow and did not work most of the time. The location of the hotel is very inconvenient and not good if you are in Rome for pleasure. There is a bus stop close by which takes you to the nearest metro station "Conelia" (bus 246 or 247) but the ... Read more

Everything you want in a good basic hotel, Clean, comfortable, nice patio and pool. Staff basically pleasant. The restaurant was ok, sufficient, not great. Not far from the airport. Mid point between Rome and Airport. A taxi cost 30 Euros in the morning rush hour but 20 around 4pm. to get to Rome and back to hotel.

This is a nice hotel with good AC. Staff is friendly and speak English. Unfortunately it is far west of city and requires some figuring out of the transport system. Hotel offers shuttle to public transport at a rate of 4 Euros round trip. A lot of tour groups come here. Breakfast buffet is good.

We spent a long weekend at this hotel. The staff were very helpful, the location was well out of town but there was a shuttle to local metro access and we were at St Peter's Square within 45 minutes. The hotel itself could have done with a refurb, but it had a reasonable restaurant , a swimming pool and advertised wifi. The wifi did not work from Friday evening until Monday morning, probably as a result of poor staff training.

We stayed at this hotel two times during our vacation in Italy. The hotel is about 20-25 mins away from the Fiumicino airport and is 20-30 euros away from the city center by taxi. The hotel also has a pool which is handy after a hot day in the city. We were a family of 5, and did not consider using the shuttle and public transport. Average is okay with me as long as AC is running, shower is working, and room is clean enough which this hotel offers. I visited and stayed as a part of a large group and was amazed at the quality of service with which the front office operated. All our guests (57 ppl with as many rooms) were checked-in without hassles or confusion within a span of 30 min. That's primarily because they were prepared beforehand and welcoming.
