As a Hilton Diamond member, check-in was a breeze at the separate Honors desk. Good thing as there were people every where. I suggest they do a good business. I was upgraded to the Club floor & lounge. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room could not have been better. Breakfast was excellent. Could not find any faults. Had a 10 minute hike over to Terminal 2 which was fairly easy even with a lot (too much) luggage. If you have a lot of luggage, look for a trolley at the hotel or w... Read more

For our last night in Italy after 25 days it was nice to walk just 7 minutes under a covered walkway from Terminal 3 to the hotel. The front desk was efficient and friendly and the room was good. If you prefer boutique hotels, this one is not for you but if you like a hotel with a tea pot, coffee and tea, a safe and all the amenities, then this one is good.

We stayed one night at the Rome Airport Hilton on this visit. We have actually stayed here twice before in the past 2 years. We had an early flight the next morning so this is the perfect location. In our prior trips we stayed here multiple days, and we also liked it because of the free transportation the hotel provides into Rome. We took advantage of that as well on this stay, spending most of the day in Rome, and taking the shuttle back to the hotel in the evening The amenities of t... Read more

We like airport hotels. We actually love some of them (Milan, London, Lima, Shannon). This is not one of those hotels. We got off a Windstar cruise in Civitavecchia. We probably would have been able to fly home the same day, but the last time we tried that it was kind of stressful. So we decided to stay one night at the airport Hilton and take advantage of their shuttle into Rome, where we could revisit some of our favorite spots. The best thing about the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel is the location - it is a very short and very easy walk to the terminal. We stayed there because we had an early morning departure and it was very convenient for that purpose. The room itself was fine in a soulless Hilton kind of way. Ridiculously overpriced (would not have stayed there if my plane was not delayed for hours and landed at 1am), staff indifferent. It is a long walk from the airport train station to the hotel but to get to your international flight it is also a walk back to the airport and a bus ride. The room was clean and what I expect from a Hilton. We came in late and wanted a quick snack, the only restaurant is only for full course meals and fairly expensive. Room service provided us with the worst Italian food we had in our entire two week stay in Italy.

This was our last stop before heading home to the states and we were not disappointed at all. Quick working front desk personnel, our room was spotless and restaurant was great. The Hotel was clean and tidy and the reception staff were very helpful dealing with a large number of unexpexted travellers all at once. The beds were not the most comfortable but better than some I have slept in. Food was a little pricey but very tasty - it was 11.30pm at night we were grateful it was still open. We stayed at Hilton because we had a long stopover in Rome and the following flight was due to deplane at 5am, so we needed to be really early at the airport. The hotel is nice, typical Hilton quality. The gym and pool is well equipped. The dinner was nice but very expensive: some deserts (tiramisĂş) were 12â?¬ !! So I would only stay there again if really necessary and if the company pays for it!

Decent place to stay - it's on the expensive side - we paid Euro 200 through the Hilton website. But allowed me to return the rental car technically one day early - so that saves some money. Agree with other commenters that the room, even when upgraded, was rather small. But it's a no-brainer when you have a morning flight out of FCO. Food and drink are quite expensive, although above average for this type of hotel. Rooms for meetings are expensive with additional extras being charged for, like 19.99 Euros for an HDMI cable for the very expensive projector. Twenty Euros per individual internet connection. Shower pressure is mediocre at best.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay and rest up after touring the beautiful country of Italy. The food is wonderful, the staff is helpful and it is a short walk to the airport. The beds are comfortable. The only frustration was that the television was not adjusted to English speaking as some of the other smaller hotels in Italy. Our hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a free shuttle to the center of Rome. You can walk from the airport Terminal 3 to the hotel. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Terminal 5 for international flights.

We spent one night here before returning home to the U.S. Check in was very slow but I found them to be very friendly. It is very convenient since you can walk on a covered walkway to the airport. We actually used their free shuttle to get to our terminal since it was the farthest out terminal for our departure. The train station is also connected to this Hotel which is terrific. They also have a shuttle to downtown Rome but it only goes every 2 hours till 10 pm so you must plan accordingly. Th... Read more

We stayed one night on our way back to the USA. We had a early flight so it was convenient. However we arrived at 11:45 am and were told if we wanted to check in early, before 12 noon there was a 75 euro extra charge put on the room. This does not make any sense, all it does is drive people away. They do have shuttle bus into Rome and that was very nice.

I stopped in on my most recent trip to Rome as this was an in terminal hotel. The convenience factor is obviously there - you don't even really need to go outside to get into the hotel. The facility was in good shape and the restaurant was fair prices for an excellent meal. Breakfast wasn't cheap but a great spread. Wifi in room was expensive but if you are hhonours they refund the charge at check out. The bathtub is large and the shower has two heads. There are the usual English European channe... Read more

Tried to cancel my stay here due to a serious illness that required cancellation of our entire trip to Rome. Was able to cancel every part of my trip (with a few small reasonable penalties) except this one night stay. With over 2 weeks of notice, there was no recovery of my deposit, even when the website said there were few rooms left on my travel day. Surprised that a large chain like Hilton would not choose to help a Hilton Honors member when a life threatening illness changes travel plans.... Read more

We are staying here as we have an early morning flight tomorrow. Our initial room was 4500 and there was a lot of noise emanating from the ceiling as the room was located right below the executive lounge. We were given a different room after we complained and it was quieter. My wife is feeling ill tonight and wanted the room to warm up. After calling and being told it would take 30 minutes to warm up the room the results were not satisfactory. We did receive a follow call after we complained t... Read more

We stayed here the night before catching a morning flight out of Rome. The hotel is very convenient since you can walk to the terminals. It is clean, comfortable, but very expensive. Great place to stay if you are leaving Rome for another destination. Great access to the airport. We have a home in Italy and this hotel makes the trip very easy. They have a shuttle bus that takes the pain out of getting into Rome - very convenient.

Was traveling from Sicily and missed our connecting flight in Rome to return to Washington DC and our travel agent booked us at Hilton Rome Airport Hotel for the day. To be honest I had very low expectations, as most will tell you that airport hotels are usually of the lowest calibur hotel. Not so with this Hilton. Very clean, spacious rooms in addition to a surprisingly good restaurant downstairs that actually makes good pizza. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to tourist areas which i... Read more

Super slow wifi, overly salted dinner amd last but not least they checked me out before i checked out!!! If not for the location (which btw is quite far from the terminal) i stro gly recommend to avoid that place. Rooms are ok, functional. Breakfast buffet is fine. Fitness is good and it has a pool.

As the closest airport hotel to the terminal, the hotel does charge a significant premium for this convenience. It is still about 15 minutes to walk from the terminal to the lobby so bear this in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Effcient and quick check in, nice rooms with comfortable beds and lots of international tv channels. Great restaurant with good service and food and a free shuttle into central Rome is a bonus. The soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great as you could hear a lot of what... Read more

I selected this hotel to catch a morning flight at FCO. For that purpose, it's excellent. Quick walkway (it's quite long) to the terminals. Apart from location I wasn't overly impressed. Long queue at midnight to check-in, then to find non-smoking room smelt of smoke. Asked reception for another room but they said non available, even though you could still book a room on the internet. Staff on reception next morning dealt with the matter well. I stayed at this hotel in September and felt that for a 5 star hotel they gave 2 star service. I had asked for a non smoking room and was disappointed to the point i had to move rooms in the middle of the night. Ice was an ordeal to locate, having been sent from floor to floor. The gym was closed by 9 pm and bottled water a fortune. When i asked for a ride to our airport terminal the morning i was to depart, the front desk refused and told us we need to walk. Hilton Rome Airport is conveniently located and offers everything you might need while traveling. The rooms were of a good size and as clean as one expects of a Hilton Hotel. The staff was very pleasant to deal with and worked efficiently while showing a very positive attitude although they were under a lot of stress when I checked in. The hotel's Bar and Restaurant were nothing special but offered a good selection of drinks and food. What I can really recommend is the Breakfast which I enjoyed... Read more

Staying here you are very limited on where to eat. If you want to eat as a group and have pizza and pasta for your dinner forget about it, this is absolutely impossible because they've crested an imaginary border of plants that pasta and pizza can not cross even if a few months ago it used to all be the same restaurant. So you have to decide. Apparently pizza can not touch the red table cloths. The manager refused to allow the pizza to cross the plant border so we had to move a few feet and and ... Read more

I got lost at the airport. I even phoned the hotel several times but could not get through to the right person. If you arrive by plane, you may be OK. By bus, you are lost. No signs to the hotel and Google maps useless. What to do? Go inside the terminal 3. Find the elevator that goes to parking. In the second floor, here is a very long corridor (half a mile?) that goes through the access to the different parking lots. At the very end, take the elevator down and the hotel is almost there. Executive Lounge has the ambiance of a hospital, uncomfortable furniture, poor quality beverages, surley staff, no breakfast. The location is excellent for travellers, the rooms are typical Hilton: clean, comfortable, US-style beds. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the wait-staff were knowledgeable, and efficient.
