I stayed at this place for 10 days and it was the biggest mistake of my Italy trip. The hotel is new and rooms are swanky but that is superficial as they don't have air conditioning that too after mentioning it on their website and on booking.com (Thts where I booked it from). In April Rome starts getting hotter and it's not possible to live in the room without air conditioning. When we complained about it they conveniently told us that we will upgrade you but still there was no air-conditioning... Read more

I found it difficult to choose a hotel in Rome that looked like it might be good. We picked Gioberti Art over UNA Hotel as it had slightly higher review averages on various sights. Sure enough the hotel looks the part. Very modern, clean and tidy. We were very happy when first arrived. Each guest gets a personal login for the wifi. The lady at the desk was very busy and having checked us in, said she would set up our wifi login ASAP. We went out sightseeing and returned to find there was no hot ... Read more

The location is great - right next to Termini. The area itself however is slightly dodgy, with many street salesmen hassling you. There are numerous newsagent shops around for buying late night snacks and drinks. We were warmly welcomed and informed that we'd received a free upgrade with a nice view. Once we go to our room, we realised that the upgrade was a spare room with a sofabed. Not really an upgrade since there's two of us, and the nice view was of the building site in the middle of the... Ideal location. Beautiful room. Was lucky and got upgraded to a suite. Room 301. Very quite even though its right a cross the street from the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Wifi was not working - not possible to log in. Might be problem as I've seen other reviews mentioning that as well. There was a lady in the reception one afternoon complaining about not having any hot water, I didn't have that problem at all. In fact the shower was huge and comfortable to use. Very good servic... We chose this hotel, due to its proximity to Roma Termini station. It was ideal, as we did a day trip to Herculaneum and Pompeii, which meant that we had to get the train at 7:30 in the morning. Easy transit to and from Rome Fiumicino airport. The hotel was recently renovated (2015) so the hotel looked great, and is new. The rooms are large and well appointed. Our first room (executive room on the 3rd floor facing away from the station) had a problem with the hot water supply. The staff was r... Read more

We choose this hotel mainly because of the location, the neighborhood is not great but since it is close to the train station is perfect to get fast & easy to the airport. 1st night we arrived super late at night and took a shared cap from the airport (20‚?¨ per person) on the way back we took the Leonardo Train (15‚?¨ per person). Our room were quite nice & big, it was facing the noisy street but with the windows close we badly heart anything. The breakfast was ok (nothing special) and the st... Read more

Bang opposite the Roma Termini, this hotel is absolutely perfect for a vacation in Rome. By metro you can get to all the must see attractions in Rome in less than 10 minutes. Though the hotel looks old from outside, we were pleasantly surprised with the modern, well equipped and comfortable rooms. Though the breakfast gets a little boring with the same menu everyday, the staff are very friendly and helpful.. Definitely recommend for a good stay :)

This is a great hotel right in the heart of Rome! It is a block away from Termini Train Station which was a plus for me. I liked this hotel because it was a little further away from the tourist sites, but close enough where I could walk to them. I walked to the Colosseum, The Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain and Plaza Venezzia. Great hotel and highly recommended.

We were lodged in this hotel last December I really enjoyed the stay close to termini station. The area is not necessarily ok where is positioned, kind of loud at night but you can manage. The room is really nice and clean, bed really comfortable and the breakfast was complete. Close to Termini station, one doesn't need more than that if you are set to visiting and crashing in a comfortable nice room at the end of the day.

Very large rooms by Italian standards. The hotel seems fairly new and has a hipster vibe. The staff is cool but very professional. The breakfast is quite good. The Wi-Fi is free and has acceptable speed, this made my son very happy. Only one elevator and it is slow, so you might have to wait a few minutes.

Excellent hotel. Great breakfast. Location was perfect, 2 minutes to Termini Train Station. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a room on the 4th floor...with a round bed and a mirror above! It was our first round bed/mirror experience.

The smiling, friendly and helpful reception and service staff are wonderful at Gioberti Art Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here although the location isn't fantastic if you're planning on seeing the main sights in Rome - you'll need to catch a taxi or metro to get there or walk 30 minutes which is a tough ask during the midst of a hot summer's day. The reception area is modern and chic. Rooms are very large for Rome standards and they're very modern and clean which was great. WiFi is super fa... Read more

Positives: Good central location Good breakfast Anastasia of the restaurant staff is a bright spot in this hotel. Always smiling, welcoming and eager to serve. Negatives: Charged us extra person supplement for 4 years old child staying with parents. Mostly gloomy staff Elevator that can't be called from the 1st floor to go to the restaurant at the 6th floor An air condition hidden behind the curtains in some of the rooms. Located close to termini station so good for transport links. Though quite small our room was cool - both the temperature and the decor. Bathroom dark marble/ceramic, plenty of choice for breakfast way above the usual Italian hotel standard. Efficient and friendly check in and breakfast. They even stored our luggage during the day, no extra charge, and they let me use one of the hotel bathrooms as we collected. Very good experience all round. Would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

We stayed here on the eve of our departure from Italy, needed easy airport access for an early morning flight but also wanted to see the sights of Rome. Firstly, the proximity to Termini station is perfect, it's literally at the end of the block, probably a thirty-second walk. The Trevi Fountain and Colosseum are both within a ~20 minute walk. The rooms were spotless, and the staff cordial. Overall a great value, especially if you need easy access to Termini or FCO -- just 30 minutes away on... Read more

We stayed for 2 nights for our last stop in Rome for our honeymoon. We were kindly upgraded to the executive suite which was a great room. The hotel was in a perfect location, 1 minute walk to the main railway station. The room was very clean and the buffet breakfast was great. The staff were extremely polite and very helpful. In particular Vanessa, she has exception customer service. We definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

While there was street construction going on outside the hotel we didn't hear a peep of it inside. We had awesome water pressure, cold AC, and the front desk staff was incredible. They suggested a fantastic Resturant for dinner, provided us box breakfasts on the mornings we left early and missed the buffet and in general were on pointe and friendly.

Not a big hotel. Clean and comfortable Next to Rome Termini Friendly staff Good breakfast Plenty of food joints and shops around this place Will stay again next visit The hotel lift is a bit slow though. The room is squeaky clean and the important safety locker is available to keep my valuables safely. I'd give it 4.5/5 for comfort and cleanliness, 5/5 for location. It doesn't have much facilities but that's OK with me.

Great location facing the lateral entrance of Termini (left side after getting out of the train). Less than 200m far from the station. Stylish and modern interior design. Reserved a standard double but got a room with a huge round shape bed. Breakfast was nice. Staff is welcoming and professional. Lots of restaurants around. Did not feel unsecured at night despite few reviews mentioning this issue. Will be back there for sure!

If you are looking for something easy between trains or when transferring via Rome, this hotel is efficient and in a central location. It is not is a great walking area for evenings - restaurants close by are fine, but not distinctive. We got off our train, stored our luggage, had a quick late lunch and walked 1.5 miles or so to the Colosseum for a quick visit. Had a small dinner close to the hotel and tried to walk around but thought it safest to head back to the hotel. Hotel itself is well... Read more
