This hotel is average at best. Very small showers, beds not very comfortable. The front desk was often too busy to be of much help. Some of the smallest elevators I have ever seen. The location is not great for easy access to the main attractions.

Hei, hei, hei...a brilliant hotel, close to Rome center, with a great interior garden, with friendly staff and perfect for a weekend based on italian coffee and pinot grigio. Close to the hotel you can d find great local coffee shops and also great local restaurants and because we are not in the middle of the Rome the prices are acceptable.

Nice weekend break in Rome and stopped in the Empire Palace Hotel. Great hotel with a good location to do sightseeing and easy walk to the main areas. The rooms are quite small with two single beds put together to make a small double, shower with wash basin, and complimentary shampoos and other items. Wifi is free for a limited amount of data, but you can spend more if you run out. Restaurant offers a wide range of good food along with a small bar. Breakfast is standard continental with fruit... Initial impressions not too good but we were tired and later realised that what seems tatty decor is artistic distressed look! Had deluxe room, good size and king bed . Warmed to place and its situation, decent restaurants nearby. Impressed by spontaneous gift of Prosecco on my birthday. Recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights in early May 2016 A very well kept hotel near the business area of Rome which means for quiet evenings. Excellent location - walking distance from central Rome and Termini (train station) is no more than 10 minutes walk away. Also, there are a few slightly less busy, but very good, restaurants to get something to eat nearby. Staff are polite, knowledgable and always available to help. Although the front desk seemed a little disorganised when we first arrived. The room w... Read more

Hotel was ok but reception staff were not friendly. They should remember who is paying their wages ! Breakfast was good but restaurant got very crowded unless you arrived early. Waiting staff seemed to be permanently stressed ! Room was ok, reasonable size. No tea/coffee making facilities. Will try somewhere else next time in Rome.

This is our last stop on a trip through Italy. Our triple room is very comfortable, with the 3rd person taking the pullout sofa. The size is not bad, considering it's s triple. The front desk staff has done everything from restaurant recommendations, directions, and anazimgly sending someone out for toothbrushes and toothpaste, at no charge. I can't pay enough compliments to them. All the employees are more than accommodating. The breakfast buffet includes pastries, eggs, bacon, meats, chee... Read more

Stayed here for four nights in the middle of the june heatwave. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a benefit and well serviced. Wi fi available. Twenty minute or so walk to train station. A couple of little supermarkets nearby. Plenty of restaurants all catering to different dining levels. Lovely cool courtyard in the middle of the building however we were asked to move away when we arrived there with our own bottle of wine we had purchased as Tuscany as it is classed as a bar area.... My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel. It is not close to the Metro, which we used to get around the city, but it was clean and had a convenient breakfast which was included in the room and a very friendly staff. The Blue Bar offers delightful drinks after a long day of touring the city. I particularly liked the ice cold Mirto, an after dinner Italian liquor.

I spent one night at the hotel during a business trip and I cannot really say that I was pleased. Empire Palace is located in the better central part of Rome in near proximity to multiple embassies and in a generally quiet district. The hotel is in a typical design, resembling somehow the glorious dolce vita 60-70s (or at least trying so). Unfortunately, the glorious past is gone and this place seriously needs to be renovated. Rooms are too small and if you are a tourist with huge suitcase co... Read more

This is a nice hotel, in a good location, staff friendly, room clean, but check your bill for extras that you may not have used eg charges for mini bar! I would advise anyone staying at this hotel NOT to eat at Taverna Flavia which is round the corner from hotel as bill was highly inflated because we where tourists & did not speak Italian! On the other hand La Locanda di Bacco was very tourist friendly it was turn left out of hotel and left again food & staff amazing & honest with the charges!
