The front desk staff and restaurant staff are very rude. One example I had to store my luggage and the place to store it was directly across from the check in. The clerk pointed it out to me and I went over there. No one was there and I stood and stood waiting. The reservation desk had no guests and they totally ignored me. Finally after 10 minutes I had to go back over to reservations and ask the gal says I will call someone and come over soon if they do not come. I was treated rudely by... Read more

We (group of 6) booked this hotel on our own, as we knew this was a hotel recommended by Royal Caribbean. It is a lovely hotel. The rooms are a good size. Very clean and comfortable beds. Our room faced the front of the hotel. No outdoor noises. Appreciated the free bottles of water in the room. Friendly staff. They gladly answered questions during our 2 night stay. Nice and easy to hop on public transport from the road outside the hotel, but they also put on a bus in the morning and back from the city in the evening. From the moment we arrived in the hotel we were treated like we were the most important people there...not just another tourist. The trip was for my mums 80th Birthday and although we did not make any special requests ourselves, at breakfast it was acknowledged it was a special day and when we returned to our room that evening there was a bo... There is another restaurant nearby but no other restaurants or coffee shops within walking distance. There is a lttle gift shop in the hotel too. On our first trip to Rome, we couldn't have asked for more. Apart from falling in love with the city, the hotel was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating, we felt decor was modern and food was excellent (English pizza will never suffice again). Nothing to fault really! And a special mention to Valentino (the barman) he was brilliant, and as we spent every night down in the bar ( where they play live music) he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We are an older couple who travel independently and look for comfort and convenience with our hotel accommodation and found the hotel to be very comfortable -good room and good bed. The staff were very helpful and really, it was as expected from a Crowne Plaza. However, we found the address of the hotel to be a bit misleading as we thought it would be closer to the Vatican. We stayed in this hotel with friends last year and as we had a good time we came back here this year for my partner's mum's 70th birthday. The rooms are spacious and after a day's exploring in Rome the pool, spa and bar are absolute godsend! I would have given the hotel a good 4/5 star review but for the shocking levels of service in the restaurant. We had booked in advance a table for 12 to celebrate my partner's mum's 70th birthday. I enjoyed my stay at the Crown Plaza St Peter's, staff was very friendly and accommodating. I flew into Rome in the early morning and arrived at the hotel around 10, I was able to check in and get settled in my room. Had an enjoyable dinner in the hotel and the complementary breakfast that came with my room was delicious. Staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and we're very helpful when needed assistance.

Staff here are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very clean, I had a top floor room overlooking pool area. I did not use the swimming pool so cannot comment. The restaurant was ok but nothing to rave about. There is a shuttle to city and back but only leaves at certain times of day and costs 1.50 Euro. A taxi to downtown area is about 15 Euro.. Breakfast is very good with good election.

Not a bad hotel. On the plus side, got an upgrade, and the room was nice. Fairly recently modernised, and look good. Fairly poor view, but it is the middle of a city! Staff generally good, but the breakfast experience needs work. Generally not enough staff, and a very mixed experience. Also, had to report a fault in my room three times before it was fixed. Reception staff very good, otherwise. Overall, not a bad hotel, and I'd stay there again.

If you want a great hotel then look no further, we arrived late at night and went straight to our room to bed, unfortunately the air con was broken so we had a poor nights sleep. Next morning the staff could not do enough to appease our lost night, a complementary upgrade to a suite over looking the pool with a bottle of champagne to say sorry. After four days on our own wandering around Rome, we joined our tour group at this hotel. It's totally different in a step down of way but that's how it is when you're with the group. The beds were kind of small, hallways were dark and ceiling is low. The "getting to know" dinner was good though.

Staying at this hotel felt like staying in any other Crowne Plaza in the US - so if you are in for a real Italian feel this is not the place. The front desk never answers the phone - even if you are calling from you room. If you need anything you have to walk down to ask. Once you do they are helpful but still a pain. It's definitely a clean hotel and the pool looked nice but if you want a real Italian feel I would not recommend.

Hotel room is seriously outdated and needs renovation. Aircon in the room was very weak, a big no no during the hot summer months. Hallway lighting is also very dim, didn't feel welcoming at all. Gym was ok, has a few cardio machines and smith rack. Service was so-so, requested for an airport departure shuttle and it was 15 minutes late... The best part of the stay was breakfast. I stayed in the crowne plaza with my family for four nights, in one of the hotels suites. The room was absolutely fine, bathroom clean, beds clean and also their were complementary refreshments. My dad is a IHG member so we had access to free WIFI so if you are staying in the crowne plaza join IHG so you can get the free WIFI. This was a great place to stay on the outskirts of Rome. It was very green with a beautiful park close by for walking, jogging etc, The staff were all so helpful and Fabio at the bar should get a special mention for his friendliness! The restaurants on site were good also! There were two very good restaurants in walking distance as well! The shuttle was very useful for trips to the city and the Vatican also, at a minimal cost of ?1.50 each/each way. All in all I would highly recommend

It was only one name night but it was perfect, the staff was professional, very clean rooms and very large variety breakfast. Enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it for sure, couldn't have time to swim in the pool but passed by it and saw all the guests were enjoying the swim and the sun.

Great hotel! I stayed here when I was 12 with my parents and loves it then. I have came back again at 22 with my boyfriend and still love it here! Facilities are great, although if you want to be guaranteed a sub lounger you have to get there early. Fabulous restaurant with great and attentive staff!

From my title you can probably guess what I think if this hotel, I love it! Last September (2015), I stayed at the hotel for just over a week and had a fantastic time. This is not my first stay at the hotel, nor is it my first review. From the moment I arrived at the hotel to the moment of leaving I could not have felt more welcome. They people here really do make you feel special. The lounge bar is simply fantastic, hosted by Fabio, Stefano and Valentino - they are great fun, and go out of t... Read more

We had lunch in the garden restaurant and the waiter, Salvatore, was superb. So polite and friendly. He made our stay extra special, and is a credit to the Crowne Plaza. We had a fabulous meal in excellent surroundings
