This hotel is excellently located for short walking to Trvi fountain and pantheon Close to metro and hop off hop on bus stop. Breakfast lovely on the terrace which is the best place for wifi which was patchy elsewhere in the hotel and non existent in our room Room comfy enough, tho the sewerage smell some days was a bit distracting

Hotel and very small- can only fit one person. There was no air-conditioning, which was not advertised; the reason given was they were not allowed to turn it on. The entire hotel was outdated. The shower was very hard to use- the "doors" leaked water everywhere, and the way the shower head was positioned, you had to use it in your hand the entire time. The TV was smaller than a laptop screen. The breakfast offerings were not very good, but the view from the roof was great. The location in the H... Read more

Team at reception to assisting with luggage and the barman, all lovely, smooth, efficient. Rooms had all the extras too, plenty of space and a great location! Everything within walking distance. Roof top terrace just lovely too with a really decent breakfast buffet.

The location was great for walking tourists, however, to be picked up by cab was a bit tricky as there was limited access at certain times. The room was comfortable and breakfast very good- especially as they know their coffees and can make an excellent latte as well as the regular Roman style espresso.

Returned to stay in May & June. Know it has an air of fading grandeur about it but where else can you stay for the price and walk to the Pantheon in 2 minutes. Room clean, bed is actually comfy to sleep on although it feels soft/lumpy when you sit on it, breakfast ok & they do have the best bread rolls in Italy plus the view of Rome from balcony stunning. All staff very helpful. Excellent free WiFi all over the hotel and none of the having to put in annoying codes each time you return to the... Read more

Nice comfy hotel in the center of Rome. Central to all major attractions, all easy reachable by foot. Close to metro line. Rooms are spacious, comfy and clean. Slept like a baby. Friendly staff and good breakfast to kick off the day. Check in took all of 2 minutes. All and all a good experience.

This rooftop bar has spectacular views of Rome! We only had drinks on the rooftop and did not stay in the hotel. This was my second visit to the rooftop and I would go again in a heartbeat. The hotel looks lovely and the location is great!

The rooftop balcony has amazing views of Rome! You can watch the sunset from the rooftop and see Rome light up at night! Then in the morning, you can grab a spot on the rooftop to eat your breakfast and watch Rome get ready for their day! In addition to the spectacular views, the breakfast was good! The location of the hotel was perfect as you can walk to many of the important touristy spots. I would stay here again!

Stayed at this hotel a week ago with a small group. The rooms on floor 5 were OK. Now we are back for one night and have a nasty little room, stinking of cigarettes on the second floor. Narrow bed. Breakfast fairly basic but the rooftop dining area is very nice.

Great central location, beautiful hotel. Quiet location close to Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Easy to walk to many places. Across from the Parliament, so police in the square in front 24/7. Lovely rooftop patio with a great view!

The hotel is very basic. No restaurant just breakfast which is good. The rooms are basic but the beds are as hard as a rock. Beware the people working there and check your bill. They added 100 euros to my bill and the woman next to me they added 34 euros to her bill claiming it was the bar. I left a package at the reception for my son but they gave it to some other guest. If you are will to avoid the employees then it's cheap enough and in a good place. However every morning there are demonstrat... Read more

Rome is a very busy City...that's both people and traffic. Hot this time of year 30c. . Only went there because we love Italian food and Roman history. We had a nice 3 bedded room on the first floor overlooking back. Room was large, high ceilings , and beds and decor good. Bathroom was excellent. Safe and fridge in room. Air conditioning in room worked well. Only problem was every morning the noise starting at 5am from shops/restaurants having deliveries and waste removed. Tip:- Try and reques... Read more

Spent a couple of nights during our family visit to Rome. Location is great with a short walk to the Panthenon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and plenty of places to eat. Rooms are a little dated but clean and service is great. Free breakfast was good. The top floor terrace is a great place to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine while relaxing. Would have rated it a 5 if not for our room being on the second floor overlooking the street behind the hotel. This street has a lot of foot traf... Read more

We had a four night stay prior to embarking on a cruise. The staff were pleasant, obliging, spoke fluent English, and helped with our luggage up small elevators. Our standard room was adequate and faced onto Parliament square. It was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and was very nice with great views towards the ancient ruins. A pleasant start to each day with great July weather. Many good restaurants are just a short walk away, as is the Pantheon. It's also walking dis... Read more

I was expecting a bit better from this hotel based on its photos. The room are ok, bathroom small and be careful with the shower water going everywhere. The bed was reasonably comfortable, breakfast offerings average. You will be located right next to parliament so there are always lots of police which was of comfort, however there is no proofing of the Windows to the rooms so we were woken up consistently over four nights by so men in the street below choosing to renovate a shop front at 2am. Stayed here with my husband and 9 month old baby. Hotel location is the best part of it! Walking distance to Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, about 20-25 minutes walking to Colloseum and Vatican, close access to the shops and restaurants etc. Breakfast is good enough and covers your basics (bread and pastries, juices, fresh fruits, eggs, yoghurt, cereals, jams, cheese and cold meats). Coffee was made on order. The gentleman working called Andrea was great - he remembered our coffee orders from the... Read more

Colonna Palace is a nice hotel situatet on Piazza Colonna, a quiet place and even close to all the things you must see when in Rome. The room is fine and there is a braekfast-restaurant on the top floor with a beautifull wiev over the city - you can see the Vatican. Close to the reception there is a bar and several sitting areas whit comfortable furniture. The staff is very kind and makes you feel welcome.

Location is Excellent - walking distance to all major sights, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps for example. Staff is very nice and polite, they even memorized our room number. Check-in was easy, they photocopied our passports and did all "paperwork" for us. Room was on the Piazza side. It was a bit oldish but okey. Air conditioning was a bit loudy. Sometimes there were mild smell of sewage. Breakfast was minimal: croissants, capuccino, some bread and butter/jam/Nutella. No bacon, saus... Read more

We chose to stay in a 4 star hotel with roof terrace 5 minutes north of the Pantheon and last year we stayed in a 3 star with roof terrace 5 minutes south of the Pantheon. The better hotel by £200, breakfast quality and choice and location was last year. Although the location was good, the breakfast was lovely to eat on the roof terrace but there was little choice. Only 2 cakes and one bread roll or a croissant. Only one hot item too. The room was large but very sparsely furnished. No tea... Read more
