First visit to Europe and happy to stay at this location. Can't get any more luxurious and rooms were comfortable and decor was exquisite. Gorgeous marble bathroom. Free wi-fi. Only complaint was no TV in english. Only CNN and other news. There were movies you could order but had to pay for. Location was walkable to many famous landmarks.

We stayed for a week at the Boscolo. This is an excellent five star hotel. We had a gorgeous panorama room with a view of piazza republican and the fountain. The room was quite large, with beautiful furniture. The rooms were very clean with large bathrooms. The maid always came to check again in the evening to see if we need anything, and give us more bottled water. The concierge team is amazing from Julia to Stephania and Marco! They made us reservations in excellent restaurants, printed... Read more

Boscolo hotel was a beautiful hotel centrally located within Rome. Staff was very helpful. Concierge recommended fabulous local restaurants that were reasonably priced and casual. The location is right near the subway station and within .5 mile of the train station. Rooms were very elegant comfortable and clean. My only negative comment would be the pool area. The pool is located on the rooftop with wonderful city views. However it is oddly situated right next to tables which serve af... Read more

We only had a couple nights in Rome and after researching a few Marriott options we decided on the Boscolo Exedra. The hotel is beautiful, when you first arrive you think it's a tourist attraction it's so pretty. The service was amazing, our room while it was an update was extremely large with 20 foot ceilings making it seem even bigger. We were able to walk to the Colosseum and found a couple good restaurant within a 10 minute walk as well. My only complaint was the shower, again for such a... Read more

This hotel is great. Super close to the metro station (literally below the hotel) allowing you to get anywhere fast. Breakfast was delicious, the room spacious, and the rooftop pool spectacular. A bit pricey but worth it. If you like to travel all over the city, this is a great place to stay. Plus, very close to the termini for early morning flights or train trips.

Our trip got off to a great start; after a transatlantic flight we were thrilled to be shown right to an upgraded panorama room upon arrival. The view of the Piazza Repubblica was amazing both by day and when illuminated at night; the highlight of our hotel stay. The only noise we heard were the occasional emergency vehicle sirens whizzing by but the room was otherwise very quiet. We had room 443; spacious with high ceilings, a sitting area in the bedroom and a full bath. The bed was hard ... Read more

We've now been to Rome 4 times between us, and everytime we've stayed at the Boscolo Exedra Roma. It's just lovely. We stayed there twice this trip, and, after getting a room that, while still nice, was far less luxurious than our previous stays on the first leg, we were upgraded to an external view room for the second leg and it was simply wonderful. The staff is exemplary, the bathrooms are huge, the bath products are so lovely and smell so good - there's absolutely nothing to complain abou... Read more

The Boscolo Exedra Rome is a first class hotel. Our room was truly palatial due to an upgrade as we are Marriott Gold members. The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance from the Rome central train station and 1 minute from a metro stop. Service is outstanding and the concierge desk was especially helpful. Free internet and breakfast buffet rounded out an excellent stay. It is a hotel that I will definitely return to on our next trip to Rome.

This was our second visit to the Excedra and it did not disappoint. First plus is the location, it is very centrally located close to all the sights. The metro is right beside the hotel and within 20 minutes you can get to the Vatican or the Colosseum. It is right by Via Nazionale which is a great street for shopping, bars and restaurants. However it is the grandeur and elegance of the Excedra which really stands out from the minute you enter the lobby. Every detail is taken care of. The staff ... Read more

Just walking into the lobby of the hotel you are impressed, it is huge. The rooms are well appointed and the service is top notch. The hotel has a rooftop swimming pool with a bar and places to lay out in the sun. The location is excellent. There is really nothing negative I can say about the Boscolo.

The Boscola is centrally located in Rome and within walking distances to most attractions. Service was impeccable, the room was nice but the shower small, not sure how many people use the bidet but without it, the shower size could certainly improve. Nice lobby, great views from the pool area, but a very small low depth pool, overall a nice stay

Since Marriott is my Hotel chain of choice I was glad to find this incredible Hotel in Rome. Great location for doing anything in the area. Tour bus's pick up and drop off less than 1 block away. Long walk (or short cab ride} to the main shopping areas but plenty of other stores to stop at on the way. Entire staff were very accommodating. We selected this hotel for our family vacation (5 nights in Rome with kids ages 12, 10 and 7) and were not disappointed. We picked the hotel since we wanted a place with a pool, knowing it would be hot this time of year. The room was great, no issues. Great location for sight seeing and dining. The pool was decent, small but did the job. One knock against the pool was the hours - it closed at 6pm which is way too early for people coming back from tours around sweaty Rome. Being as this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, I was not impressed, and rather underwhelmed by our stay here. Staff had a brusque manner and the vibe just wasn't welcoming altogether. Our room was nice enough... For a 4-star hotel, if that. The never-ending drab carpet. The constant smoke fumes from the room next door. The forgotten ironing board after I had asked for it twice. The chipped porcelain floating in each drawn bath. The maze of elevators, hallways and stairs to get to/from our room.... Read more

Location of the hotel is really excellent (walking distance from all the attractions). And this is the only good news about it. All the rooms, that we saw (and we were shown 3 standard rooms + 1 Junior suite), are very dark, since they face internal courtyard (not a beautiful square with fountain that can be expected). This courtyard is a dark well with garbage bins at the bottom, multiple fire ladders on the walls and air-conditioning ducts in the top. Rooms on the upper floor would be a bit b... Read more

Fantastic location and a beautiful hotel. The bar on the front of the hotel is a fun place to watch people and the fountain in the roundabout is lovely lit up at night... Stayed 2 nights and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a luxury hotel in Rome!

This is a very large, beautiful, and elegant hotel. From the minute that you arrive until the time that you leave, the staff makes you feel special. There is a rooftop pool on this property complete with a restaurant and lounge. If you want breakfast, they have an excellent buffet on the first floor. If you just want to have a drink and people watch or relax, then the bar in front of the hotel is the place to be. This hotel is walking distance to a lot of sites and some really good restaurants. ... Read more

Nothing bad to say at all. Wonderful staff, very nice rooms, walking distance to most everything, especially Termini. The Vatican and Trastevere would be a short cab or metro ride away. Would most definitely stay there again. In fact we already booked our next stay there.

I'm not sure what others could fault with this hotel. The location and façade itself differentiates this hotel from other options and it only got better when we went inside. The check-in staff was extremely pleasant, the concierge went out of his way to meet our needs, and the wait staff at the on-site restaurants was exceptional. Of course, the rooms were immaculate and the rooftop pool and bar was a great way to unwind after a day of touring. Even leading up to my trip, I had a great expe... Read more

We had room 492 which is a "classic" room - i.e., their lowest level, so I didn't expect anything great. The space itself was really nice with a beautiful bathroom and small entry area and a somewhat small room - but certainly big enough. There was only one problem with the room: the smell. I think the carpeting was very old and the room smelled like old fish covered up by too much very strong Febreze-like smell. We had to keep the window open because whatever the chemical scent was irritated... Read more

We had tried to get reservations at several other hotels and they were all booked. My husband called Marriott and asked because he had top status could we get into this hotel. So first a shout out to Marriott and their service to customers. We arrived at the hotel (that by the way) is in a great location and it was beautiful from the lobby to our room. Our room was decorated elegantly and was large. The concierge group at this hotel is great and are willing to help in every way. The breakfast bu... Read more

We enjoyed this hotel. The property is beautiful and our wonderful room, which faced Piazza della Repubblica, had a big bath with tub and separate shower and double sink, large bed, and lovely chandelier with high ceiling. Our rate included a delicious buffet breakfast that offered many choices to start the day. Service was consistently perfect. Hotel is walking distance to most tourist places and there is a metro station nearby. We did not eat at the hotel as there are many places to eat around... Read more

This hotel is AMAZING, from the staff, to the amenities, to the location...we loved everything! The concierge was so helpful in giving recommendations for places to eat (cheap-ish and within walking distance) as well as helping us figure out how to get to the airport (also somewhat cheap-ish but also faster than public transit). Our room was amazing, the bed was the most comfortable I think I've ever slept in...my only gripe is the shower was TINY and somewhat difficult to move around in. The b... Read more

We recently stayed at the Boscolo Exedra in Rome and had a wonderful time. The hotel is very luxurious (we were staying on Marriott points) and well located. We were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to visit and there are a number of restaurants within a 15 minute walk that are very good. The rooms are very comfortable and the lobby is beautiful. Be sure to check out the ancient ruins in the basement, the hotel is build over ancient baths. The breakfast buffet has everything you ... Travelled to Rome with our 2 teens and stayed for 5 nights at this luxurious hotel. The property is lovely, the staff can't do enough to ensure your pleasure, especially the concierges who are quick with restaurant suggestions and ideas for navigating this wonderful city. For example, Valentina suggested we head over to Trastevere to enjoy the River Festival for the evening which included food, music and shopping along the Arno. Other things to note: Rooftop Pool--rather small and sometimes ... Read more

Told my husband if we go back to Rome (we have been one other time) we are staying at the Boscolo. Loved everything about this hotel. Our room had fresh fruit and flowers upon arrival. The smell of the flowers was amazing. Location was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great recommendations for food from the concierge. We had a junior suite that had a loft upstairs. Our two nights was not enough. Below is a picture from our window. Amazing view. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I stayed here last week during our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for anything more luxurious. The hotel is pretty central and close to all the major landmarks. You can walk from Termini station too, which is very handy. The concierge desk was always extremely helpful and the doormen were always helpful in getting us a taxi when we didn't feel like walking in 35 degree heat!

Loved everything about this hotel. The charming staff, luxurious room and hotel ambience were as you would expect from a five star hotel. I stayed for ten nights and not once did I have a concern. Congratulations to The Boscolo Execdra.

It has an impressive frontage onto the Piazza and it is certainly decorated to the highest standard, but unless your room faces out to the Piazza your Superior Room view will consist of a single, (shared window with next door) window over looking what the hotel claim is an "Inner courtyard" despite the signage at the entrance to this area telling you it's a Garage! In truth it is a walled car park offering views of cars, vans, an impressive ventilation system across the way and the occasional... Read more

Everything about this stay was perfect: the hotel building itself, the service, the location, the food, the ambiance. It really is a 5 star treat in a 5 star city. Do not doubt it! Special mention to the following employees who made sure my wife and I had a memorable honeymoon: -Vera, Monica and Claudia in reception. (Always greeting us with a smile, even after coming back from a tourist filled day full of sweat and looking like crazy people). -Guilia in Concierge services and Andreas in the ... Read more

My 12-year old daughter and I stayed at the Boscolo Exedra for 4 nights at the end of our 2-week stay in Italy. Our room, while on the small side, was beautiful and luxurious in a traditional hotel way (thick drapes, padded walls, high ceiling, etc.). The marble bathroom was large and also luxurious with a big tub/shower combination and double sinks. There was a vestibule ("dressing area") with room for suitcases and a closet that made the space feel larger. The hotel is blessedly air condit... Read more

We stayed in Room 261. Great Room. Upon check-in, we were provided an upgrade to this room. Lovely room with the expected 5-Star amenities. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and ample storage for our family of three. The fruit in the room was delicious! The room has internal stairs to the King bed. Although a little imposing when you need to reach the toilet (below) during the night, but we really liked the spacious room. Would not recommend this room to anyone with any concern w... Read more

First time in Rome and we used our Marriott points to book a three night stay at the Boscolo Exedra Roma. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The service is top notch; everyone who works here smiles and is so helpful. We had an upgraded room on the 3rd floor. It overlooked the Exedra and was magnificent! The bedding was comfortable and we had a large marble bathroom with a sink, vanity, regular shower, shower with tub, toilet and bidet. Plenty of hot water and good pressure... Read more

Large, high quality hotel on the edge of the city centre. If you have young kids who complain about walking for more than two minutesand you plan to walk to the main sights, you may want to stay somewhere a little more central. Otherwise, an excellent choice. The hotel is busy with tourists, business people, weddings and conferences, so different to some of the quainter tourist options but generally a very good option. A large comfortable family room (an executive room) and bathroom. Noisy from ... Read more
