Stayed at this hotel during a weekend break to Rome with my boyfriend (over valentines weekend). Views from the balcony were so pretty and the balcony furniture was stunning. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff were so friendly. Would 100% recommend if you are thinking on staying here for a weekend or so. Easy access walking to the town/ trevi foundation and theres a tour bus stop round the corner. Beautiful and clean boutique hotel in Rome! I can't wait to go back!

The hotel is just a 8mins walk from the station Spagna next to the Spanish Steps. The hotel staff were great and we were upgraded to a deluxe room (#405) after our first one #105 was a room tailored for disable guests. The shower experience was very good and we really liked the hot rails for drying our towels and clothes. The long bench with great lighting which really improved my bathroom experience. The was plenty of space in the room and it was so comfortable to return to the hotel after ... Read more

We spent a week in this hotel form 27th February - 5th March. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfasts were plentiful and had lots of choice. The staff were all excellent, providing a professional service at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped us with any questions we had. Overall an excellent hotel- I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a short city break to Rome. Having caught the shuttle from Ciampino airport to Rome Termini ( good value at â?¬4 each way, tickets in the airport foyer) we walked to the hotel in about 20 minutes. We followed a Google route downloaded earlier! We really liked the location of the hotel, in a quiet street about 5 minutes walk from the top of the Spanish Steps, and about 10 minutes walk from the Borghese Gardens, which we visited on our last morn... We stayed 4nts in April (2 adults & 1 child) and loved the hotel. We had a triple deluxe room which was booked via Voyage Prive. The room was very spacious and modern in décor, with a very large bathroom. No bath but a huge double rain shower and double sink. Our room had an interior view (nothing much to see). It had one king size bed and a sofa bed. The hotel itself was very boutique and offered modern décor throughout. It has very small bar on the ground floor, but served a purpose. Fre... Read more

The Berg Luxury Hotel is a good hotel to stay in when in Rome. Good restaurants, bus service and right next to the Villa Borghese. I will recommend it to anyone going to Rome. How ever many Euros you think you need, double it.

If you want a modern, clean, quietly and conveniently located central hotel then this place is great. Just stayed for 4 nights with a group of friends, it's a small hotel with a tiny bar area and cosy dining area. You won't spend much time here other than sleeping anyway as its very close to a lot of the delights Rome has to offer. The staff were great, very discrete and made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again.

As stated in the title - this is a great hotel for a city break in Rome. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom is particularly nice with a his and hers sink + walk in shower. The hotel is a short walk away (around 10 mins) from the Spanish steps and the main shopping area but is located at the top of a hill - so comfortable walking shoes are a must. Overall, a lovely hotel for a 4 day trip and would definitely book again in the future.

Stayed for 4 nights to visit Rome. Hotel is modern designed. Opposite hotel is places old villa with park. This gives feeling that you are not in capital of Italy, feeling more like country. Very quite place for noisy city, only dinner sounds from restaurant terrace is coming from street. Hotel is short walking distance from 2 metro stations and from Spanish Steps. There are many restaurants around hotel. Hotel is small reception and small bar. Rooms and bathrooms are large and very well design... Read more

Excellent hotel, large spacious rooms, very good breakfast. Room cleaned and bedding, towels changed everyday. Within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants. (Trevi fountain about 15 minutes). Located on very quiet street but a small number of restaurants including a Hard Rock Cafe less than five minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel.

For our weekend in Rome we had a hard time finding a hotel that was in our price range and that was stylish. Berg Luxury met all criteria. The hotel is located close to Borghese Parc, Spanish steps and 10min walk form Trevi Fountain. The area is quite and surrounded by other luxurious hotels. The room is well sized and decorated. The bathroom with a huge shower and 2 sinks is nicely designed and provides everything you might need with regard to amenities. Breakfast was satisfactory offering ba... Read more

This hotel is very comfortable and the room we had (501) was very spacious. Don't expect views of Rome but our window looked onto a lovely garden and house opposite. . The shower was amazing. However, the service at breakfast was poor (slow and food/cutlery not refilled). Room cleaning was done but things were missed like replacing toilet roll and toiletries.

We booked our stay for 4 rooms (9 people) When I inquired about cost of third person in one of the rooms they told me I had booked single rooms and 2nd and 3rd persons would be additional 50 each. I cancelled and rebooked double and triple rooms. When we arrived they told us time and place for breakfast than tried to charge us 15 each for breakfast and told us only 1 of the rooms included breakfast. Rooms were dark, no view, and a/c didn't work well. Felt like they were trying to take advantage ... Read more

Pros: Massive rooms Extremely clean (new towels/ sheets everyday) 5-10 walk to the Spanish Steps Quiet street, away from the busier areas Cons: Shower was difficult to work, too many functions maybe just focus on one shower function. On one occasion when returning to our room after sight seeing our door was opened and unlocked (we obviously locked it in the morning when we left) so that frightened us. We checked all our belongings and luckily nothing was touched, but I didn't feel too secu... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. Hotel was very good although few points could easily be improved to make it great. Biggest problem was the air conditioning which is really poor. 35degrees outside and not much different inside. Hotel is very clean, staff are great just few bits and pieces to make it a great hotel. Location was excellent for us and everything within a 20 minute easy walk.

I have to say that the Berg Hotel in Rome is one of the best hotels in town. From the staff to the location. 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and 15 minutes to the Trevi fountain. The entire staff is very accommodating and friendly. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome.

Overall I enjoyed this hotel. It was clean and all the staff were accommodating and courteous. They recommended some really good restaurants and the location of hotel was convenient. Some improvements though. The air-conditioning was barely functioning. During our visit it was extremely hot outside which made the rooms a little bit uncomfortable because of the temperature. The showers could also be made simpler. They have different settings for the shower which is nice in concept but not so in ... Read more

Just back from our honeymoon. The staff are really accommodating and professional. They were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This hotel is placed in the perfect spot to walk to dinners and explore Rome. Close to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps and a lovely brisk walk to the Coliseum. Breakfast is full of fresh ingredients and was tasty with plenty of choice. The room is a nice size with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Clean, stylish and well laid out.

Rather a good stay globally. There is however negative points: - BREAKFAST : minimalist . Spend the two other days taking breakfast in other hotels. -RECEPTION : we asked reception for taxi in our stay with remarkable rapidity. However in the day when we were leaving for airport we were surprised that instead of the taxi there was a person with a normal car with many defects ( no climatisation ;alarm for battery blinking)and no taximeter included. It was evident that the reception directed us t... Read more

When you go to Rome you often expect a small room in a quaint hotel. Berg Luxury Hotel didn't get that memo. The room I was in was fantastic. Not only in size but in design and style.
