A very nice hotel 30 minutes from Rome center. Staff was helpful, room was clean although a bit warm and services were overall quite good. I would it recommend anytime. The only problem perhaps is the location and the fact that there aren't any restaurants around in case you don't feel like going to the center. On the other hand there is a nice shuttle service to carry you to the center every hour or so.

Our stay even for one night was excellent, we stayed at one of the hotel's suite! Great hotel, service, cleanliness, comfort and very modern! Also the shuttle service is pretty cool! Overall our stay at Rome was made more beautiful!

I've stayed in quite a few hotels all over Italy, and this one is definately one of the finest. When you get here it's a bit tricky to find the parking, no obvious signs and no parking in the hotel's yard, just dropoff by reception. There is an underground parking, but you need to drive back out, go left, and then left again and down a ramp. Also the hotel is not in a great area, nothing interesting or useful within walking distance, but there is a shuttle available that takes you to the city... Read more

The hotel was clean and the staff are well trained and courteous. The shuttle bus into the Centre of Rome made it an acceptable location. Without the shuttle bus it is a bit far out. We would definitely stay here again

Decent stay. Should have a menu in English in the restaurant. Charge a local tax for what reason? A/C was not working had issues with door and bar staff not friendly not much available to you if you don't decide to eat at the hotel also.

Pros: The rooms are spacious and comfortable. 8-10-mins taxi ride from the hotel to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The reception will gladly call a taxi for you and the taxi is there in 3 minutes or less. Cons: Bathroom floor floods-up when you use the shower due to a gap in the shower enclosure. No near metro stations.

The rooms are very clean and nice. In the hotel in Rome, the toilet door is clear so the other person can see you in your private time, which I believe is absurd. I would understand the shower windows being clear, but the toilet ? I dont think so. So, pay attention to this if you are going to stay with a friend!

Rooms are a good size with modern fittings. WiFi poor on the 5th but a colleague on the 3rd floor had no problems. Good room service, reasonably priced laundry. Location is good for access to the business areas and Rome. Would recommend.

Very good hotel and would highly recommend it. It is in a good location with great parking facilities, taxis were there within a couple minutes and from hotel to colosseum the cost was between ?10-?15. All staff were very friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my boyfriend, the room is very chic and modern with lots of cool features. There is a lighted mirror in front of the bed, and automatic blinds for the giant window the room has. There is a big comfortable bed and loads of pillows for when you are done walking around at the end of the day. Plus, a couch with a pull out bed if you need it. The only downfalls I would say about this hotel is that it is fairly far away from everything so we had to take a cab or the hot... Read more

Barcelo looks nice from the outside, but our stay of 4 days and 3 nights were disappointing. Our first room had an bathroom with lots of black molt??. Not very hygienic, then we moved to our second room. That was ok, but still molt in the bathroom. The third night was no warm water. After a hot day of 33 degrees and being 10 hours outside, a shower is nice before to go to sleep. The staf is really nice and the breakfast is good. The other experiences made us to score Barcelo low. Remember,... Read more

Excellent Hotel ! We spend a full week end there, and we would definitively recommend. The staff were great, the service excellent, the rooms comfort and the design as well. The breakfast choice is great and every day, they offer differents elements. The only inconvenience may be the location as it is a bit outside the main city centre, but there is buses down the Hotel and the Hotel is ready to help for shuttles buses and to book cab.

This is a modern, clean, well-appointed hotel. Being about 15mins (?16) by taxi from the centre of Rome, results in its being in bargain territory when it comes to affordability. Sadly, this picture is rather spoiled by amateurish, non customer-focussed staff. If the answer isn't on the computer, there is no answer. We spent a hugely frustrating 30 mins just trying to check in. Even ordering a cab seemed to generate a drama! If money is tight, take such frustrations on the chin; the sleek, ... Read more

A 15-20 minute ride with bus from the center of Rome. The busstop is near The hotel. There is severals nice restaurants nearby. It is a big hotel with many guests and groups and the lobby was always full of people. You didn't notice this from our room. Nice and helpful staff. When we arrived we got checked in in a room that was already occupied. They emidietly upgraded us to compensate the misstake. We didn't eat in their restaurant but the breakfast was wery good, a bit expensive though. W... Read more

Good, clean and comfortable place to arrive in Rome and regroup before attacking your vacation. Just lacks a concierge service to help or guide tourists toward their stay in Rome or benefit from unknown amenities. The restaurant is excellent along with service and the morning breakfast buffet is well garnished but I did not appreciate eating cold scrambled eggs.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a recent business trip to Rome. Fortunately the bill was paid for me as personally I would not chose to pay to stay here. This is a comfortable business hotel, transport was organised for me and on the one occasion I sought a taxi none could be found. It's at least 20 minutes to Fiera de Roma and I was unaware of the shuttle to city centre and I didn't see obvious public transport links. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms quiet and comfortable and breakfast go... Read more

Awful area as others have said. Not a chance you should venture out after dark and no point otherwise. View of a terrible tenement block with rubbish and children messing around from my room. Inside the hotel is clean and quite swish. Indifferent staff for sure. Wifi dodgy to say least. Phones ( room service or to book a taxi never answered ).However when I gave up and went down to the restaurant wonderful food and lovely wine! Rooms good too. Don't stay here by choice though. Excellent all around. Cleanliness and service was very good. Room service was excellent. Could not have been happier. this was the beginning of our 2 weeks in Europe with Travalgar, so we can't take credit for choosing this hotel, but if we travel there again we will definitely return to your hotel.

Stayed a couple of nights on business. Room was large and nicely furnished but view was pretty terrible! Had all the usual facilities - nothing extraordinary but everything was there and as expected. Soundproofing was not fantastic. Location was convenient for our offices and airport but not a lot else

This is a modern style hotel located somewhat south of the city center of Rome. It is easy to find. We stayed as a group and found the service sometimes good, sometimes not. It seems that the hotel was not ready for our arrival: the entrance was blocked by vehicles; the porters were not there to handle luggage (we ended up busing our own); a number of the room keys had not been programmed correctly and many of the rooms did not have towels. Having said that, the hotel personnel did try to correc... Read more

Hotel is new and very clean. Room was small but comfortable, toilette had no window. The air conditioning had been stopped but we had three very hot days in Rome so we had to open the window, which was not immediate. Breakfast was reach and service has always been nice and fast. Hotel is not in the hearth of Rome, but location was perfect for my needs and you can rich downtown Rome in just 10 or 15 min All in all a very nice week end and good value for money

The hotel gave excellent service and the food was also to a high standard. It was very clean and smart throughout the hotel and staff were often friendly. We stayed in the hotel for leisure purposes and although the location isn't central to the city of Rome, it was easy enough to get the bus which stops close-by.
