My husband and I stayed here for two nights during the beginning of our honeymoon and really loved it. Quiet, safe neighborhood that is still walking distance (20 minutes, so depending on what you consider walking distance) to main areas like Travestere/Colosseum. The front desk is very friendly and accommodating (let us store our luggage), and the breakfast is so nice-- cheeses, yogurt, salami, pastries, made to order coffees and teas. Make sure you drop by the Orangerie (2 blocks away!) for a ... Read more

We stayed two nights at this hotel, and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rome. This is not a good location for those wanting to be in the immediate vicinity of all things touristy. This is a great location for those who want to capture a more local, Roman type experience. We were in walking distance to all the fantastic restaurants in Testaccio, It's only a 6-8 euro taxi drive (for three people) to the center. (not much more expensive than taking the metro for three people. ... Read more

Took my wife and daughter to this beautiful location in Rome. Easy to get to and close to the main attractions in Rome. Our two rooms were spacious and pleasant. Very helpful staff who were more than happy to help with advice on transport and eating. good restaurants within a few minutes walk down the hill. Wish I could give 6 stars as this hotel added a touch of class to a wonderful trip to Rome.

The location is on Aventino hill and sits next to gardens with an amazing view over the city to st Peters and the Basilica. Its not fr to all the historic sights of Rome and we did it on foot. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant and the hotel gave us a reasonable exchange rate on our money. The continental breakfast was fresh meats. cheese, yogurt, pastries and fresh fruit were always delicious and plentiful. We stayed in room 340 which for a double was very small with not much storage... Read more

Friendly staff and beautiful lobby. Our room was just down the hall on the main floor. The room had a damp feel to it, as did the bedding. The air conditioner had a musty smell and had what appeared to be white mold under the wood lid. An air freshener was used to try and mask the odor but it seemed to make the room smell worse. Right outside our window was an orange tree, but because there was rotten fruit all around it, we were unable to open the window without gnats coming in. The air c... Read more

Have never stayed in the Aventine Hill part of Rome before and it is a lovely place. The hotel is a three star and so maybe doesn't offer some of the fancy touches but what they lack in luxury they more than make up for in other areas. The room we had was very nice and quite spacious. It was very clean with a mini bar and good shower. Breakfast is buffet style cold meats/.cheese/ cereals and pastries etc. All good and fresh. There is a lovely courtyard garden to sit out and all in all the hotel ... Read more

Beautiful tree lined street where this boutique hotel is located. Only 20 rooms, we were on the 2nd floor, lovely & quiet. Forget the hustle & bustle of the crowds, walking distance to Circus Maximus, Colleseum, & the Baths of Caracela (a must see, quieter & much less crowded!) We had a lovely bottle of wine & pizza in the gardens of the hotel on the first night. Lovely daily breakfast included, including boiled eggs! They were happy to bring us plates when we returned to our room for lunch that... Read more

Spacious and clean room and bathroom. The staff was very helpful and polite. A really nice lady would bring you the coffee you wanted at breakfast, after the first day you did not even have to ask for it, she remembered! Simple but very nice breakfast -everything is fresh- and you could enjoy it in a beautiful yard. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Circo Massimo metro station and 20 minutes walk from Colosseo.

This is a good three star. It is in a very quiet affluent area on the Aventine Hill. The price you pay for this is long walks to the sights. Very clean with helpful staff and a real Italian feel. The breakfast is great with lots of fresh fruit, bread and pastries.
