My husband and I loved this hotel! The location is ideal. Not only is it adjacent to the Pantheon, it is centrally located to many sites (20-30 minute walk to most everything). The staff is very friendly, and very professional. They all spoke English quite well. Our room was a decent size and well appointed with coffee/tea, mini-bar, bathroom toiletries, etc. The in-room wifi is slow, and at certain hours in the evening it was unavailable due to high traffic/usage. The room rate is high, but gi... Read more

Property is beautiful and location can't be beat. Got there early and the room wasn't yet ready, but they made an effort to accommodate us. After sipping our cappuccino in the open air bistro across from the Pantheon, we toured the Pantheon, returned to the hotel, the room was ready and luggage already brought in. We had a standard room but it was lovely and had a great bathroom. The only thing I missed was the did not have wash-cloths in the bath, although they did have bathrobes and slippers f... Read more

Excellent location. Fantastic service and fabulous hotel. Definitely a great place to stay! This is the second time we stayed in this hotel and we would recommend it. The concierge were great as were the people serving breakfast. Right next to the Pantheon and easy walking distance to most of the sites.

My wife and I stayed at Albergo del Senato for two nights. This is a great place to stay! Rooms were clean and sufficiently spacious. Most importantly, the hotel staff were kind, helpful and resourceful throughout. Always wiling to make an effort and accommodate us. This counts a great deal! A real bonus is that the local restaurants recommended by the hotel were fabulous. We are definitely going back.

We stayed at Albergo del Senato 10 years ago and loved it. I think my family fell in love with Italy at this hotel. Ten years later, it has been updated, and is even more comfortable and delightful. The bathrooms are beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable! It is well appointed and stylish. The breakfast is lovely, as is the fantastic roof-top bar overlooking the Pantheon. Just delightful to sit atop the hotel and watch the sun set over Rome, with the domes of St. Peter's in the near distance... Read more

Visiting this hotel several times during the last 15 years we have never been disappointed. The location is perfect - just next to Pantheon and in walking distance to nearly everything you want to see or visit in Rome. The rooftop bar is the perfect place to enjoy a "sundowner" - of two - with the most amazing views of the rooftops and churches in the area. The staff is very nice and friendly and the service is impeccable. The rooms are clean and with everything you need for a nice stay. We ... Read more

We booked the Albergo based on its trip advisor ratings. Based right on the piazza where the Pantheon is we weren't disappointed. The staff are as friendly and helpful as is possible and our room was excellent. Breakfast is simple but good. There isn't a restraunt but when you literally have a hundred to choose from on your doorstep you really don't need one. The roof bar is fantastic with views right across the rooftops of Rome. We had a short stopover in Rome on our way back from Palermo. For such a short stay we wanted a hotel situated near the sights we wanted to visit: Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, and Caravaggio‚??s paintings in San Luigi dei Francesi and Sant'Agostino. Hotel Albergo Del Senato at Piazza Rotunda is just the right hotel. All our dear sights in Rome are within easy walking distance from the hotel. In addition, the hotel itself is comfortable and luxurious. A nice room (not so big) with ... Read more

I only spent one night at the Albergo del Senato before flying to the U.S. I was glad I chose this hotel as the location was wonderful and the luxury was a treat after two-and-a-half weeks of traveling in economy mode. My room looked out to the Pantheon and it was special to look out my window early in the morning to the nearly empty piazza. I loved the traditional decor of my room. In the evening, housekeeping came in the room to close the drapes and shutters so it was cozy when I returned. Coc... Read more

Our first visit to Rome and it was fabulous! Staying at the Albergo del Senato was a perfect choice for us. We could walk to everything, the roof top terrace was lovely, the staff was warm and friendly. Room was immaculate, and I think my daughter and I are picky people. Room was not big, but more than adequate for the two of us, and we were there for a week. Nice linens, big bathroom, great shower. Our room faced the piazza with a view of the Pantheon. I think we had the nicest room in the hotel (superior double), with the to-die-for view of the Pantheon. Room windows had double-glazing and shutters, so when shut, there was hardly any ambient noise from the very busy square in front of the hotel. Beds were hard, single beds were very narrow, but everything else was so wonderful that we hardly noticed these things. There were bedside outlets (for those of you with cpap machines), and our room had a walk-in closet with a mini fridge. Bathroo... Read more
