My husband and I loved this hotel! The location is ideal. Not only is it adjacent to the Pantheon, it is centrally located to many sites (20-30 minute walk to most everything). The staff is very friendly, and very professional. They all spoke English quite well. Our room was a decent size and well appointed with coffee/tea, mini-bar, bathroom toiletries, etc. The in-room wifi is slow, and at certain hours in the evening it was unavailable due to high traffic/usage. The room rate is high, but gi... Read more

Property is beautiful and location can't be beat. Got there early and the room wasn't yet ready, but they made an effort to accommodate us. After sipping our cappuccino in the open air bistro across from the Pantheon, we toured the Pantheon, returned to the hotel, the room was ready and luggage already brought in. We had a standard room but it was lovely and had a great bathroom. The only thing I missed was the did not have wash-cloths in the bath, although they did have bathrobes and slippers f... Read more

My wife and I stayed at Albergo del Senato for two nights. This is a great place to stay! Rooms were clean and sufficiently spacious. Most importantly, the hotel staff were kind, helpful and resourceful throughout. Always wiling to make an effort and accommodate us. This counts a great deal! A real bonus is that the local restaurants recommended by the hotel were fabulous. We are definitely going back.

We stayed at Albergo del Senato 10 years ago and loved it. I think my family fell in love with Italy at this hotel. Ten years later, it has been updated, and is even more comfortable and delightful. The bathrooms are beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable! It is well appointed and stylish. The breakfast is lovely, as is the fantastic roof-top bar overlooking the Pantheon. For such a short stay we wanted a hotel situated near the sights we wanted to visit: Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, and Caravaggioâ??s paintings in San Luigi dei Francesi and Sant'Agostino. Hotel Albergo Del Senato at Piazza Rotunda is just the right hotel. All our dear sights in Rome are within easy walking distance from the hotel. I only spent one night at the Albergo del Senato before flying to the U.S. I was glad I chose this hotel as the location was wonderful and the luxury was a treat after two-and-a-half weeks of traveling in economy mode. I think we had the nicest room in the hotel (superior double), with the to-die-for view of the Pantheon. Room windows had double-glazing and shutters, so when shut, there was hardly any ambient noise from the very busy square in front of the hotel. Beds were hard, single beds were very narrow, but everything else was so wonderful that we hardly noticed these things. Terrific location with really nice staff. Breakfast was good but not great (watery scrambled eggs and not a lot of protein possibilities). Some street noise at night but not a problem for us. Room was well-equipped but it would be nice if they upgraded the tiny, hard tissues to real Kleenex. Folks at the front desk could not have been nicer.

The views at the front of the hotel are incredible, you couldnt wish to be more central... and if you want to watch the sunset over Rome, then the rooftop bar couldnt be a better place to see it - an amazing view over the rooftops. It was somewhat small, but not for a hotel of that age in the center of the city. And it really was beautiful with a great bathroom. One word of caution - shop aroun... Read more

Centrally located, a stone's throw from all the highlights in the centre of Rome; stylish and elegant, perfectly beautiful and romantic; we went back after 2 weeks to finish our trip with the final weekend and we were granted an upgrade to a room with a view overlooking the square near the Pantheon; so memorable!! lovely rooms, comfortable and abundantly generous, great food, great happy hour, great staff!

We stayed here for three nights with our room overlooking the Pantheon. We think this is the perfect location in Rome - 20 minutes to the Vatican, 20 minutes to Trastevere, 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, and 25 minutes to the Colisseum. There are tons of restaurants and bars around. Our room was very nice and for Rome the price was reasonable. There is a rooftop bar that we went to, but it was too chilly to stay for a drink. This will be our hotel in Rome for years to come.

We stayed here for 3 nights during May 2016 while honeymooning across Italy. We scheduled for a airport pickup (although the money dealing is not handled by the hotel; so you do want to carry cash for the cab) Stayed in a double room with a Pantheon facing window (although the Pantheon area did get a little noisy right from early hours until late night but the windows were to a large extent soundproof. so we were able to sleep peacefully). The Pantheon view was amazing (it views pantheon from t... Read more

I booked a last minute one night stay. I must say that this hotel was perfect. I loved everything. Location! Room! Breakfast! Staff! Just a wow. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room did not have a view of the Pantheon but that was not a problem. It was a beautiful and clean room with the most amazing bed sheets. I would stay again in a heartbeat. I hope to have the opportunity.

Located next to the Pantheon on the Piazza della Rotonda, Albergo del Senato is the place to stay if you plan to tour Rome. The hotel is centrally located, near the Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and not far from the Forum. We walked to all the locations, but some people might prefer to take a short taxi ride to the Forum and Coliseum. The service in the hotel was top-notch. The rooms were small, but newly and beautifully decorated. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the Pantheon and... Read more

In the middle of our "package Italy trip" we made a last minute booking for one night in this hotel. We were staying 3 nights in Frascati and I am almost happy that we were dissatisfied with our hotel there opening up the opportunity to spend a night in Rome. From the moment we walked into the lobby of this amazing hotel, I knew that "we had arrived"!! We were greated by Mauro who we immediately knew was there to help and take great care of us. Even though we arrived mid morning and we're lo... Read more

The Albergo Del Senato is in the heart of Rome, just steps from the Pantheon (literally). Thank you Luca and all the members of the staff for your gracious and courteous service. What a refreshing surprise with large and well decorated rooms, great breakfast and outstanding roof top bar overlooking the plaza and Pantheon. Within easy walking to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain among other sites. Please check out the best small family restaurant around the corner called La Sacrestia Ristorant... Read more

My husband and I recently spent five nights here and were delighted with our room, the service of the front desk staff, the breakfasts, and the rooftop bar. The location was perfect, a literal stone's throw from the Pantheon and a short walk to great restaurants and all of the major sights of Rome. The staff was warm, courteous and helpful with directions and recommendations. Our room was comfortable and quiet, which is surprising as it's on a busy piazza. We will definitely stay here the next t... Read more

Located smack in the middle of Rome, Albergo del Senato is a few minutes away (on foot) from all the major attractions in the Eternal City... It is situated in a nice, quiet piazza overlooked by the mighty Pantheon and surrounded by some great restaurants, cafeterias and gelaterias... Also, the room we were given was excellent and very comfortable... Five-stars also go to the staff, who are very friendly and helpful and whose advice saved us time and money... This hotel can't be beaten for location! We stayed in a 6th floor room with a small balcony overlooking Pantheon. Yes it's a bit noisy, yes it's a bit expensive, yes the room was on the small side but the location and the excellent service you get from the friendly staff is unbeatable. It is an elegant small hotel with good breakfast, excellent staff service and good amenities. Oh and there is a wonderful roof terrace! I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Wonderful room, small but super clean, quiet, and in the thick of everything. View from the room is amazing if you get a room facing the Pantheon, and the roof top bar splendid and romantic. Prices well worth the location.

The location of this site is a dream for a tourist. The staff was so accommodating. I wanted to eat at a specific restaurant they gave me directions yet after 15 minutes of looking I couldn't find it, so I went back to the hotel. They said "come on I'll show you", and walked us to the restaurant (which was very close)! The room was comfortable, clean and bathroom large. This hotel has had a recent update and it really shows.

My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay at this wonderful hotel to celebrate our anniversary. The location is absolutely perfect, you could not get any better. It is right in the middle of the historic centre, we walked everywhere very easily, no need for any transportation to see the sights. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in the lovely Piazza della Rotunda next to the majestic Pantheon, it is spotless clean and very comfortable, but it is the staff who make it really fant... A great hotel with a super location in Rome. This hotel is located just outside the Pantheon. A trip from the main station by a cab should cost you around 10 euros. Most of the major city attractions are within 40 min of walking distance from the hotel and hence you wont require any public transport. The hotel frontdesk is extremely helpful in planning your day in and around rome. Dont miss asking them for special tips. Places to eat and shop are all within the radius of 2 kms and you will not... This hotel is amazingly convenient and reliably clean. The tasteful rooms are on the small side but well appointed, as are the marble bathrooms. Loved the views of the Pantheon, the free wi-fi, and the wonderful breakfast. The best front desk staff ever! They will send you to terrific restaurants, hire a car for you, give directions. Mauro, especially, is a splendid employee.

This hotel takes your breathe away and provides an experience in Rome that I would imagine could not be duplicated. Can you imagine having a glass of wine just steps away from the Pantheon? Having four restaurants to choose from within a 50 foot radius? Short walks to stores for shopping or gelato treats? Taxi stand just across the plaza? It is all here! I love this place and will always return. Laura and Paola were very helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was secure ... Read more
