This 4 night break was bought for us for Christmas. We had looked forward to our stay for all that time. This hotel is very convenient to the main station and within walking distance of the major attractions. It is very quirky - especially the very old lift! It is not like a conventional hotel but instead a very old building with hotel rooms on a few floors. the room we had was well equipped and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities in a communal kitchen on the floor that we were on.... We stayed here 3 nights while we were in Rome. Great location with many cafes and stores nearby! Super friendly staff and very nice rooms! The old iron elevator was very cool! It is also very close to Termini Station which proved very useful on catching the metro and getting to the airport. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

The location is the best feature of the hotel. Very central and a good value. The bed was too big for the size of the room and it made it a bit unnecessary. But it had a nice bar area outside the room to have breakfast and drinks in the evening. Would recommend it for the location and price

Easy access to train station - could walk with our luggage- and still walkable to many other sights like the coliseum and forum. It is across the street from the opera house. They were responsive to questions before arrival by quick email responses.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was really nice. The Man that greeted us on the Saturday evening was very helpful and friendly. Room was brilliant we had a great view of the Opera House and enjoyed spotting Valentino and a few other known faces outside. Bed was nice and big and very comfy. Bathroom clean and shower powerful. Old lift is a lovely different feature. We walked all over the city as hotel is in a great location. Would recommend the restaurant next door if looking for a treat mea... Read more
