I must say the staff especially the front office requires a lot of training. They are answering with attitudes to tourists . The lift is soo crammed and hardly accommodate 4 people . If you are with group you wait minimum of 30 minutes to reach at ur room. Breakfast is average . Ample parking.

This Holiday Inn was very clean and neat. The hotel is huge!!! Several of the hotels that we visited in the past was out of date and old. This hotel modern and comfortable. The hotel offers shuttle service into a certain part of the city for $2 EUR cash per person/ each way. We ran out of euros and the front desk guy told us a place in the center of Rome that has a great exchange for USD to EUR. There is a 881 bus that takes you into rome a few blocks away from the Vatican. This bus directly out... Read more

This hotel is nice, clean and worth to stay in. Thé only problem was its location. It's far away from Thé city. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was tidy and clear. Romantic hours are waiting you. Buses are available to the city center

Stayed here on a long weekend break and it was everything we could've asked for. Twenty minutes or so into centre of Rome (last stop is a terminal near Vatican) on the local bus 881 ?1.6 which picks up right outside the hotel (opposite side of the road to get into city). Buy 2 tickets (in and out) from reception before you go. From here you can walk more or less anywhere. The hotels shuttle bus is smaller, more expensive and only runs till 8pm so we didn't use it. The staff were lovely, friend... Read more

My little family and I visited this hotel over a weekend in early May. After lots of research we picked here based on price and also the fact that Holiday inn is a world renowned hotel. Upon arrival which was after midnight, we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who checked us in promptly and allowed us to take our two girls to bed. After this things began to go downhill.... We were allocated a room on the "old side" ... This is to the left of the reception. Initially the room appeared to ... Read more

We checked in to Holiday Inn during the last week of May. The room given to us was comfortable just that the extra cot and bed was at the extreme end of the room near the door. Nevertheless we could move it to the inside of the room as it was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had there was hot water available throughout the day. Though not very close to the city centre, it is well connected by public transport and the hotel shuttle that is available every 2 hours. The staff and the ... Read more

It's a pretty decent hotel, with free internet for everyone. The beds were soft and comfy and the bathroom was pretty clean. The air conditioning took awhile to start up and the wait for the hotel lobby was a tad bit long (but I understand because the hotel must have been slammed with tourists so no big deal). Breakfast was decent though, I've expected more but hey complimentary is complimentary. I'll take what I can get. Overall, I would stay again. Can't comment on the distance between the c... Read more

The Holiday Inn Pisana is a fairly basic hotel on a direct bus route (1.5 Euro) to the center of the city, which makes it easy to commute (a taxi back from the center of Rome cost us 17 Euro). The hotel is clean but very simple; bathrooms are tiny, mostly with a shower stall (not bath) and little space to move around. Some of the bedrooms awarded to our group were very small, but ours - two twin beds - was more spacious, although the walls were very dirty and marked, definitely time for re-pai... Read more

the bus into the centre of Rome was right outside the hotel whichwas great and our Rome passes covered the journey. The hotel was modern in its public areas, the room itself was tired and the bathroom left a lot to be desired, it did however fulfill our needs.Expedia rated the hotel at 4* but even the hotel rated itself at 3 *. Breakfast was great.

Although hotel was clean, the location set it back. Hotel does offer a bus into Rome but only at selected times and with it being only a nine seater bus you cannot guarantee you'll get a space. At night there was nothing around the hotel so you had to get taxis which cost about 20 Euro each way. Tried eating in the hotel one night but the pizzas we ordered tasted like water so wasn't too impressed. Our hotel room air conditioning was broke, every time you flushed the toilet water dripped out ver... Read more

Not in a good location, but not too far from the centre of Rome. From the outside, the hotel was quite old, but inside was modern and clean. The room was modern, clean, and spacious (triple room). I had a problem with the elevator, which was very very small. The line waiting for the elevator was quite long, so I had to use the stairs instead carried my luggage from the 4th floor. The service was good, the staffs could speak English very well

Maintenance can be better. Bit of repainting here and there wouldn't hurt (e.g. Walls in the room). Black (mold?) stains in bathroom. Super small bathroom for a room with 4 people. Bed too soft for my taste. AC should be left on (or be more powerful) and curtains closed at backside of the hotel when it's sunny (it went up to 39C outside), 32C in our room when we arrived. Would recommend to install other curtains with black-out. Slow wifi. Only one bottle of water upon arrival seems a bit cheap.... Read more

On booking in, we found we had been upgraded to a premier room, which was great! It was very comfortable with good facilities. No bath though, only a shower. On our first night, there was a coachload of very noisy young girls who were there for a football match the next day. We complained several times due to the noise, and frankly the management didn't seem to care too much, There was also a busload of American tourists who were also very noisy. The hotel is far from centre of Rome. The room was clean and large. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a living area with sofabed extended out. Even with the sofabed extended, we still had big space to scatter our luggages and move about. The hotel provide tea/coffee and kettle in the room. A comfortable hotel if you don't mind the location.

Our Room was on the 3rd Floor. It was a big one and clean. The bed was equally comfortable. The toilet however looked little interesting. Overall it was a happy stay here. The only issue was with the elevator, only 4 person can accommodate at one go so had to wait a bit for a chance.

It is definetely THE WORST HOLIDAY INN due to the reception name Mr. SIMONE. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nites starting July 10, 2016. I was looking for wine bottle opener and called the house keeping. They asked me to come down to the lobby. I went to the lobby and went to the bar but nobody was there. Mr Receptionist/Mr Simone yelled from the reception desk about 10 meter away that the bar was closed. I told him that I need a wine bottle opener. He told me (still with YELLING voice) the bar w... My family and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It is far from all main attractions in Rome and in order to get to them was only by taxi because there was no subway station nearby. That is a $40 roundtrip depending on traffic (which is terrible), and how many different routes your driver decides to take. So the was location terrible for us.. plus not a lot of restaurants nearby so it would only leave us to eat at the hotel's restaurant... The food there was not great at all... also VERY expen... Location is is in the middle of nowhere and will quickly eat up any savings with taxi fares into the central part of the city. We booked a family room which was 2 twin beds and 2 cots. Not ideal for my 6'4 husband and 6'1 14 year old. But the worst part of hotel is that it is in a very industrial part of town and the parking lot is a hangout out. We stayed at the hotel for three nights as part of a vacation package. While our room was spacious it lacked proper ventilation and air conditioning in the August heat. Our room was modern but could use a deep clean. The tv had no remote and the phone didn't work. The restaurants were over priced and the food was basic at best. The two pros of this hotel were its wifi which was strong and the breakfast which was fresh and plentiful.

Torn on my review of this hospital. There are many good things, strong wifi, great breakfast, upgraded to executive suite, friendly staff, and nice bathrooms. Like many have written the location is terrible and you have to take expensive taxis, gross public transportation or shuttles that are only every two hours. I would recommend the shuttle. The area itself is alright, has some good food options. Overall happy just wouldn't recommend.

The staff was helpful until I called down and told them I ordered a pizza and requested they call me when it came and I was told they do not do that, that they provide room service form their kitchen. Nice hotel with a good restaurant, a pizzeria and a bar. There isn't much in walking distance but the public bus stops just outside and the hotel provides a shuttle but it drove off without us dispite being 10 minutes early, told reception and they said it was our fault so wouldn't recommend relying on that. We booked our stay at this hotel through a travel agency. Some main pros: breakfast is nice with lots of options and good coffee, and the wifi in the lobby is good. Some key cons: it's in the middle of nowhere, the place is hot as hell, and there may not be internet in your room. The air conditioner in our first room was not working. The rooms are recently refurbished, and there is a good lobby bar. Not particularly close to the metro, so mostly attracts short stay business peopl with meetings in the area, coach tour groups and smaller conferences. Rooms are air conditioned but the remote control is tricky and you'll need help to get it right. Don't worry abou room selection, there isn't a view. Avoid the pizza at all costs, it is microwaved from frozen and an outrageous crime against Italian cooking.

The location is in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to see Rome, you depend on a shuttle. I would have given this hotel 4 stars if it wasn't for the issues to begin with. Firstly we arrived and had to wait around for check in at 2pm. Whilst waiting we were informed that the double room that was booked was not suitable for a family despite this being the the biggest option when booking via jet2holidays. I was with a group attending Maker Faire in Fiero convention center. We spent the evenings in the cafe downstairs eating pizza, drinking wine, and talking. It was good.
