We stayed here for one night while passing through Rome. The service was great and rooms very clean. Beds were a bit smaller than we are use to in the US. Nice restaurants in the area within walking distance (Taverna Rossini). You can easily catch the trolleys to Vatican and other sightseeing from nearby.

Located near the north end of the park with Borghese Gallery - within moderate walking distance. Great staff, average breakfast, and appointed with stylish Euro paneling throughout. Arrival in the micro elevator, barely large enough to accomodate two adults each with a small bag, prepared us for a micro-size room. Desingers chose to stuff the room with large cabinetry, which is nicely finished but not completely useful, while consuming much needed floor space. A small balcony provided a view of ... Read more

The hotel is located in a residential area, some distance from the center of the city. A taxi ride to the city is about 15 Euros or so, but public transport is both easy and fun using bus 53 to visit the downtown area, tram 19 to visit the Vatican and Tram 3 to visit the Coliseum. Although our first impression was that the hotel was a little far from the city center, after having spent some days in the high traffic, high people activity and high noise level in the city we greatly appreciated... It was nice and quite. Big plus was self laundry service so I could come home with almost everything clean.

Neat well appointed hotel in a residential area of Rome with a familiar brand. Staff is very courteous and helpful and can arrange trips and make dining recommendations. Hotel is a bit away from main attractions but transport is readily available. Rooms are very clean and large for Europe, but space could be better utilized. Lobby area is modern but not very comfortable.

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing stay at the HGI in Rome. The air is different, the noise is lower, the pace is better! After a few crazy busy hectic days staying near the Vatican it was great to move to the HGI located in a residential or none tourist area- don't get me wrong, you are just minutes from tourists stops; the Spanish steps, St. John Latern etc. and within walking distance to the park most tourists miss. Very nice location, North of Rome. Hotel and personnel were top. There are rooms with balcony and rooms without, you should ask before for the right room. We thoroughly enjoyed this more modern hotel in the Parioli neighborhood. By walking to the Spanish Steps and onto the Pantheon, we experienced lovely buildings, embassies, the Borghese Gardens, Spanish Steps and onto the more touristy Rome. The Hilton Garden Inn Claridge is located on the edge of a nice residential neighborhood. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It is on the bus trolley line to the Vatican (19) and to all the main sites (53), get off at the Barberini stop. It was great coming back each night to a quiet clean room. I stayed for one night on business in July 2016. Hotel is clean and quiet and rooms are standard Hilton, maybe a little small. Hotel isn't that central but overall I have no real complaints. Possibly it would have helped if water was in the room rather than in the pantry at reception. I would return over some of the less well maintained hotels in Rome.

This hotel is what you expect a Hilton Garden Inn to be - clean, comfortable, well-appointed. The room was quite modern with a comfortable king size bed. The breakfast is very good - the best we have had in Italy so far (across Rome, Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento). The Hilton in Claridge was fine, with easy access (right out front) to the local light rail. It's clean with a helpful, English speaking staff, and has some basic spa facilities (sauna) and a small gym that's actually got some decent machines for such a small location.
