Hotel is very very very friendly and modern. Located in central Rome and walking distance to many of the famous locations highlighted in films and history books! Very satisfying breakfast, lovely rooftop bar and view of city. Rooms are small but very efficient-typical of European style hotels. A double decker sightseeing bus stops a few blocks away, and hotel can offer you discounted prices/voucher for this attraction. I had street view for room-not too noisy as room seemed to be sound... The hotel is indeed a decent/good property. Rooms are neat and hygienic, but room size is an issue. Staff is friendly. Metro station is about 400 metres from the hotel and by walk nearest point of attraction is either Pantheon/Trevi Fountain which takes about 20 mins.

Having been to Rome three times before, we deliberately booked this hotel as we wanted to be close to the Villa Borghese and one of the park's entrances was only about two minutes away. Good points: -location; central, within walking distance even of the Vatican -staff; checking in and out was quick, any problems immediately fixed -breakfast; HUGE selection -lifts; never had to wait or share Bad points: -room size; a little on the snug size, but even though we were on the second floor, the noi... I had just two extra nights in Rome and wanted to spend most of my time in the Villa Borghese. I couldn't find a suitable airbnb option so I decided to splurge and replenish myself before heading off to Venice on the comfortable Freccio fast train. NH was a real treat. A beautiful property managed and run by respectful staff. It was exactly what I needed.

The hotel did not have a porter waiting when we arrived or left. For a hotel like this it's poor form. It's not near any of the cool restaurants or attractions. The breakfast was OK in comparison to others we had at the other hotels we stayed at on our trip. The room was very nice is a flashy sort of way. Very comfortable bed. As we are tourists that enjoy an authebtic experience there is no way we would stay here again.

Stayed here for four nights - comfortable and quiet. The restaurant/breakfast area is good quality and the buffet for breakfast is good quality with typical European choice. I had a couple of informal business meetings in the adjoining area in front of the bar, which is comfortable and well kept. The only criticism of the hotel is its location; it is close to Villa Borghese at the top and town and requires a good 15 minute walk to get to the action.

The hotel is advertised as a restored convent but judging by both the exterior and interior you would never guess this was the case. It is situated a little outside the main centre just past the Roman walls and next to the Villa Borghese gardens, which are well worth a visit! The entrance is rather strangely located next to a busy road with a only a narrow footpath to walk along, this make crossing the road on our way to and from the city centre a bit challenging! Came here for a business meeting with a little bit of pleasure. Left with a bad taste in my mouth and lots of displeasure. First pulled in the reception. No one at reception. No one help with the bags. Slow check in even though three employees behind the desk only one was actually processing guests. No welcome to Rome, welcome to the hotel or orientation to breakfast. Get up to the room and air-conditioning not working. Call front desk they were no help. Finally got an engineer up to the room.... Read more

Although this hotel is within walking distance to the Vatican, it doesn't have much else going for it. The area around the hotel is very dirty (e.g. trash in the streets) and the front-desk staff are not very helpful or overly friendly. We paid extra for an upgraded room and had an awful room with very cheap amenities and a terrible view. Definitely stay somewhere else if you can!

We end up in this hotel due to issues in our originally reserved one. I need to say upfront NO REGRETS!! The hotel is super in all meanings: extremely well located, just a couple of blocks from Via Veneto, nice rooms, spacious and confortable, very nice breakfast area and duper service from everybody! Rates are a little high if you compare it with others, however location, quality and service pays it in full!

I doubted at first to book this hotel, as I have read it was outside the city walls. It is indeed, but its worth it. It is situated in a more quiet area, next to the Villa Borghese where there is a nice park. In Rome you are most of the time out of the hotel, so it just takes you 5 minutes to be in the hart of the city, and at the end of the day you can walk back to your hotel. The hotel has comfortable, big rooms and beds, clean, complete breakfast. Everything that will restore your energy for ... Read more

Very nice hotel once you got used to the reception desk was downstairs and the rooms were upstairs. When you came in from the street, there was just a landing. Once you checked in and reached your room it was very nice. We were at the edge of a very big park so you could walk and there was entertainment all the time. It was also within walking distance - for my granddaughter and myself - of Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and other famous sights.

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew that we had made the right decision on where to stay in Rome. The property was well maintained, the staff was friendly and accommodating, our room was clean and inviting, and there was even a hand written note along with chocolates in our room welcoming us to the hotel. From the hotel we were able to walk to all of the historical and cultural sights in Rome, as well as to some great places to eat. We would absolutely stay here again!

We visited rome for a quick trip of four days. The hotel was great, super clean. It has great service, all staff spoke English. Breakfast selection is fantastic. Air-conditioning in rooms because it was 30+ most days. Beds are spacious and very comfy. Bathroom is compact but still look great, with shower and bath. Great quick stay away. Local shops and restaurants all the way into the main tourist areas of the city, nearby to the tube and park. Great place, would recommend.

Staff are excellent and very friendly. Free drink on arrival because our room wasn't ready (we were early!). Good location. A few minor things let the hotel down: room service wasn't readily available (one evening there were only sandwiches and this was well before the restaurant closed); our keys stopped working and our bath didn't drain unless we fully removed the plug fixture. We'd definitely stay here again but these little issues stop it being more highly rated.

Located just 200m from Vittorio Veneto and its great restaurants and bars, it's a modern hotel with many amenities in the room. The breakfast is reach, with many varieties (except for fish). The only con is the parking- if you park under the hotel, it would cost you 45 Euros/night. Nice, clean and quiet hotel. Free wi-fi and breakfast, no gym. 15 minute walk to Fontana di Trevi. Only 10 minutes away (car) to Termini train station. NH Is part of group of hotels with the same standards in terms of quality and service.

It's a nice, clean and beautiful hotel, well situated in the heart of Rome. Rooms are decent, clean and fully equipped. Ambience of hotel is quite pleasant. Breakfast room is very good with lots of variety and excellent taste...Definitely good place to stay on. Rooms are very small though but still quiet good.
