Having never been to Italy, I researched WAY too much, and wanted to share my review with anyone considering this hotel. I took my daughter to Rome for 3 days before she joined up with a Gap Year program/group. She wanted a gym, and I wanted a beautiful, clean hotel in a good location. I have to say, the Grand Hotel Via Veneto exceeded all my expectations and reviews. It is beautiful! It is spotless! I requested a room on a high floor, with a separate shower and booked a Grand Deluxe room.... Read more

Vi stayed here for 3 nights apart of a romantic long weekend in Rome. Check-in experience: We where greeted with a big smile, our luggage was immediately handled by the by the staff and delivered to our room with no hassle. The Girl at the reception helped us through the check-in with a big smile and showed us personally to the room where she explained all the details of the room. Free champagne as welcome drink. One of the best check in experiences I have had. The Room: The rooms was rather... Read more

Amazing service form very professional and friendly staff. Live the doorman was really helpful. Room was nice and large as well as the beautiful marble bathroom. Unfortunately the view was not that great, but not a problem as the rest of the hotel is amazing. Will definitely be back.

Great location to start with, and an attentive staff that made my stay comfortable at this hotel. The room I had was nice, although the bed was a bit low, but all in all a good standard of hotel. We had booked a meeting room, which was located on the lower ground level, which we found didn't have any network coverage, so they moved us and made the situation good without any fuss. Not sure what more they could have done to improve.

After staying at a Jumeirah hotel in Dubai (Al Qsar) I couldn't believe the level of luxury. My partner and i decided to go to Rome for our first city break. The grand hotel certainly did not let us down. The facilities and especially the staff are amazing. They helped us with very good knowledge of local wines, lagers and beers. Also we could not even open a door for ourselves (you might think this may be a bit much), it really wasn't. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough! 5 stars!

My husband and I only stayed for 2 nights post Mediterranean cruise, but we had a lovely experience! We booked this hotel well in advance, through American Express, when it was still part of the Jumeirah family. I was a bit concerned when I found out close to our departure that this is no longer a Jumeirah. However, the hotel honored all of our AmEx benefits, let us check in at 10:30 a.m., and went out of their way to make sure we were settled and comfortable. They delivered a tray of cookies an... Nice and safe area but very small room hotel, bed wasn't the most comfortable, and as a large woman I could barely get into, let alone barely fit into the shower. It wasn't much better than the Pensione Florida I moved into later at 1/3 the price which was also closer to public transportation and restaurants and shops.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Via Veneto. Professional staff throughout. Very modern design from foyer to rooms. Great size bedrooms with huge bathrooms. Spent a lot of time in their day spa - it's very relaxing & hard to leave. Relatively close to station. I will definitely be back when in Rome.

A very well located hotel which is quite nice and luxurious. I only stayed there for one night and found the hotel to be perfect for what I needed. The bathrooms are beautiful and done in marble. I (like an idiot) took some time to figure out how the taps worked (you have to push them up like a lever in case you are wondering), but other than that they were immaculate and clean. Also went to use the spa area (there is an extra charge if it's not included in the room rate) and the pool and ste... Read more

A good quality hotel close to attractions. The bedroom was quite small but I have found this in other hotels in Italy. It was certainly well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and the service generally was good but not exceptional. The bar closes up relatively early even for hotel guests as we discovered having been out for an evening meal arriving back just after 1.00am expecting to be able to have a night cap in the lounge. The main road felt very safe and wasn't ... Read more

This hotel is great for getting away from the overly crowded tourist spots. I'm so happy I stayed here, it's located along a tree lined street with other luxury hotels and great restaurants. It was completely relaxing and had a great rooftop bar / restaurant. Highly recommend.

This hotel was gorgeous and at a prime location, I might add. The room was pretty spacious (for Rome) and clean, but it seemed pretty basic to me- and we were definitely not in a basic room. The bathroom was nice, very spacious and loved the separate shower and bath. The lobby and overall look of the hotel was definitely 5 star, just not the rooms. For the price we paid I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I didn't have high expectations, but I was totally wrong. I stayed for 3 nights. Honestly, all the staff, everyone from the doorman to the receptionist, are the nicest people and went out of their way to make this a five-star experience. My room was ready even though I arrived very early in the morning and the receptionist kindly checked me in. The room was both spacious and luxurious and the Bvlgari amenities were a nice touch. Service was excellent, with twice daily turn down and the breakfast... Read more

Visiting Rome for the third time, and looking for some additional comfort in our advancing years, we found a good deal for this luxurious hotel on the Via Veneto, within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese. The ambiance is quiet but welcoming. From arrival to checkout, the service was uniformly good, with outstanding service at breakfast and the bar. The room was generous for a City centre room and the spacious marbled bathroom (with Bulgari toiletries) had every facili... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for a week. After the initial shock of a very small closet, we discovered that the hotel has FANTASTIC service! Everyone is exceptionally helpful, and always assist you with a heartfelt smile! However, to our surprise, Domenico, the Bar Manager, is the BEST bartender in Rome! He made for us a different martini every night, that cane with a full explanation of where it originated. Last night there, we tried one of his own creations! FANTASTIC!

The hotel is very well appointed. Breakfast is very good Rooms are big enough but we had a deluxe. Dont get a standart. Too small The concierge was not helpfull . We asked directions from google map and I was told they could not print it in english. Only in italian. What a deception. We could not follow instructions in a laguage we could not understand . I hope they fix it in the future. Our reservation was for a room with via veneto view what we did not have.

The location of the hotel is good. The staff is very helpful. The hotel deco is very outdated, I'm sure the furniture was nice long time ago, but not anymore. I stayed at the deluxe room, it was spacious and the size of the bathroom was also good, however, the bed mattress was not comfortable and the view from my room was kind of horrible.

Our rooms were decent sized, but we did have suites---which had comfortable sitting areas---always nice when you are on extended visits with a fair amount of luggage. Our room had no view--I am not sure if any rooms had a view of much. The location is decent in that you are 15 minutes walking to many places you would like to visit. The breakfast in the morning downstairs was good and the staff was very pleasant. We were a bit bothered when they would not allow us to use our in-room breakfast... Read more

We have just returned from an excellent weekend at this hotel-we had a superior room but that was really good for us - very comfortable and well serviced. Al of the staff were so friendly and polite and we could not fault the service. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Skybar on the roof terrace and also had a massage in the spa which again was lovely. Whilst quite expensive, the hotel is well located near to Spannish steps and is well worth the cost. We would recommend!

Expertly greeted by doorman who assisted with our bags and escorted us to reception. And that was the best part of our stay. For some reason a police officer and someone in a suit, disrupted our check-in and instead of getting help the one receptionist decided to deal with both of us to the point of being flustered and really not focusing on our check-in.
