This hotel is great. I stayed here with my girlfriend, we are a young couple, who was visiting Rome for the first time. I can honestly say the location of the hotel is perfect. If you need to catch the underground you are right near it. Also the Coliseum is only down the road. There are restaurants down the road which are lovely, and some really nice bars as in the area. When we stayed in Rome we had to catch the underground once but the rest of the time we just walked. The hotel its self wa... Read more

Had booked a triple. Expensive hotel and we did not get good service. Hotel would not turn on air-conditioning. We paid for air-conditioned hotel. Thermostat in room but hotel kept unit off. Felt miserable. Had to open windows at night to get some air in. Room in second floor so heard noise from streets. Some staff members in front desk were friendly. Hotel is conveniently located to Termini station...that is the only good thing to comment regarding this hotel. Will not stay ther... Read more

We stayed here for three nights and could not have been happier. The rooms are well appointed and the bathroom is a good size. From the fourth floor we had a charming view of the traffic and tooting past below us. If we got sick of it (never -this is Rome, a very entertaining city), we could always close the window. The staff are great. Lovely courtesy, funny Italian logic, and the food here is delightful. We had such fun here and it is so central. If you are comfortable walking, you can wal... Read more

Right across the street from the Hop on/off bus. 3. On the same street as the Colosseum (walking 20 min). 4. Plenty of food next to hotel. 5. Large hotel rooms 6. Clean hotel. 7. Hotel has a gym. Cons: 1. Extremely hard beds that have springs that poke you. 2. We tried 5 rooms and all beds were the same. 3. Breakfast is a sugar f... Read more

Perfect choice for a stay in Rome. Excellent location by Termini station and still close enough to walk to all major sites. We stayed during our honeymoon at the end of June 2016 and the staff accommodated our request for a room with a balcony and even upgraded us for breakfast at the roof garden and delivered a single red rose to our room. Thank you Monica for all of your kind assistance!

Great place to stay. Central, excellent room and facilities. Very good staff. Lovely food. Would stay again definitely. Like most hotels only provides table for one suitcase. Why do they all insist on this? Otherwise no bad points at all.

Last summer I stayed at the Bettoja Massimo D'Azeglio and I intended to do the same when I go back to Rome but this year's trip was planned on short notice so the rates were much higher than my budget. That's when I found hotel Atlantico and decided to give it a try. It was right opposite hotel Massimo and very close to Termini which saved us time and energy. The street itself is very quiet and safe at night. The hotel is very simple, nothing too fancy about it but in a nice way! The room was V... Read more

This was a cozy, clean, quiet and perfectly located hotel. Literally a 90 second walk from Roma Termini. Convenient to catch a bus, tram, train and subway. Dozens of restaurants and cafés within the block. It's a 12-15min walk to the Colosseum, 15-20 to Spanish Steps and Trevi. Room was clean, quiet, two large windows with amazing blackout roller shutters. Decent sized bathroom (by European standards) with excellent shower head/pressure and hot water. Room had a bar fridge, digital safe, la... Read more

This hotel was very clean, had comfortable beds with nice linens, room was super spacious with a large bathroom, and they had a FANTASTIC breakfast buffet! We had a large group and met with some local relatives one evening and enjoyed the privacy of a large comfortable meeting room.

We stayed here for 3 separate nights before and after a cruise and after returning by train from Ciinque Terre. They stored our extra luggage between trips and it is in walking distance to the Termini station. The rooms are clean with good air conditioning. The free breakfast is good each morning and there is free Wifi.

Hotel Atlantico was a great hotel located within walking distance of the Roma Termini train station and the ancient parts of Rome. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in the adjoining Mediterraneano hotel. The staff for breakfast were great and the food plentiful and tasty. If you stay here make sure that you go up to the rooftop bar and eat or at least look out over the city...a great view!!

Hotel is OK. Staff are reasonable to miserable (depends who is on shift). The location is good - allows easy access to many of the traditional Roma "tourist sites" or "storica antiqico". Hotel security is very basic - so please be careful and keep your wits about you. I "lost" some valuables while staying there. This hotel also misused the credit card authorisation by charging for an extra night. Currently being investigated by my bank. When I attempted to resolve this dispute, staff were ru... Read more

My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at the Atlantico and found it to be a reasonably appointed hotel within an easy walk from the railway station, which was important for us as we arrived and departed Rome by train. Our room, which was on the 4th floor was large but a little dated. The bathroom had a bath and a very quirky toilet flush. Initially I reported the toilet as broken when it wouldn't flush but was told by staff that you needed to push it several times. It became a bit of a game as s... Read more

We didn't enjoy our staying. The hotel is very old. The elevator is hardly for 2 persons, more than that and it would collapsed, this is how we felt inside it. The breakfast was not good. The omelet was bearly cooked. We certainly not go back and not recommend to others to get this hotel..

Bettoja Atlantico is just a short walk away from Roma Termini, the main train station, and to some of the historical sights. As the hotel itself rightly advises you, "Rome is a museum best seen on foot", its location serves the purpose well. The Pantheon complex, piazza Venezia, Santa Maria Maggiore basilica, Trevi, Navona...and many other attractions are at a walking distance. There are many restaurants and gift shops around. It is another great convenience that the tourist bus service to The... Read more
