We loved our 4 night stay at the art hotel. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was also perfect. It was a short walk to the beach and shops however the walk was lovely to get there and you get to see what Positano has to offer. There are also lots of restaurants around the corner and down the hill. Would stay again. Thanks Tony and team

Lovely sea views, local bus stop at the door, very clean & airy, perfectly fine buffet breakfast, good local wine selection, wifi,TV very good selection of channels, firm bed.....A small drawback..because the floors are tiled & the furniture is iron,it makes a hell of a noise when dragged across the room above...laundry service during the week...a laundromat is about 300 metres up the hill..very good staff

Loved our 4 days here! Far enough away from the beach but an easy 15 minute walk down there. Beautiful views and big, big balconies in the spa suites especially. Room more like an apartment in size. Very clean and very pleasant to stay in. Shower a tad small but ok. All the staff speak English and were all very helpful and friendly, especially the gorgeous Alvera, the fantastic cook there! Her pizza pie was amazing and also her cheese filled sausages. The breakfast buffet was a welcome change fr... Read more

This was not my favorite hotel. The view was stunning and the front desk staff were helpful and knowledgable but the rest of the experience was lacking. The breakfast was not delicious. The breakfast staff were neither helpful or friendly, our room on the first floor was noisy, and two different days our room was not made up til after 3:30. The location was good but I would never choose this hotel a second time

The hotel is very close to all the shops and restaurants. Services are minimal but with all the beauty of Positano around you spending time in the room is not a priority. You will be very happy with the rooms.

We spent four nights at Hotel Pasitea and found the room to be pleasant, roomy and clean. The view was amazing, looking out over the sea. We had a first floor room right above the lobby. It was quiet despite being above the road. I cannot say enough about the front desk staff, who were very helpful and engaging. They pointed us in the right direction to find the best food in town and also helped arrange for transportation to the airport at the end of our trip. They were always friendly in greet... Read more

This hotel was perfect for our stay last December. We arrived late in the evening and was so hungry... your manager told us where to go ... just down the road, to a restaurant where we had a lovely meal. Our drive from Rome Airport on our rental car took us a while to get to Positano. Next morning we woke up to the amazing view from our balcony (see photo). Afterall, we did want to visit Positano to see the unique hillside landscape with all the houses built on the slopes! Guest-rooms were ... Read more

Great spot for couples, families and friends. We stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it. We had a room with a nice balcony that fit two beach chairs and a small table with two chairs. It was perfect! The staff was super helpful and made great dinner recommendations. The hotel also suggested a cooking class which was one of the best nights we experienced. Can't say enough great things!

the rooms are lovely if they are facing the sea. They have very large patios. The 4th floor has two flights to walk up to. Not our favorite room. we transferred to the 3rd floor. Enso, Jimmy & Tony are on the front desk and they were very helpful with suggestions of restaurants and sightseeing. we were in Positano 15 years ago. Enjoyed our stay this time just as much. Taking the ferries to capri, Amalfi and Ravello.

We were in room 34. Although the room was fairly basic with very little drawer space and quite small, it was clean and the bathroom was a good size with a great shower. The balcony was superb, with 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers and a view so beautiful it almost took your breath away. Keeping in mind that Positano is built into the hillside, the hotel was in a good location with shops and a number of restaurants nearby, but it is more than 300 steps down to the centre of Positano and therefore more... Externally the hotel is beautiful. Quirky inside although the bar area felt more Cafe. The rooms we fairly poorly decorated I felt but very comfortable. Possibly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Bathroom whilst adequate felt dark and small. The balcony was lovely with amazing views. Location, again very good with excellent restaurants very close. The staff we on the whole helpful. Do not expect a luxurious hotel as you will be disappointed, but as a comfortable base in beau... Great hotel, excellent service from the front desk. Tony made some great recommendations for restaurants - Il Firnillo and La Tagliata. The hotel was beautiful and loved the art work. Breakfast was much better than other European hotels we have stayed in. Beautiful view from room 40, which is where we stayed. Spa bath was wonderful. Shower is a bit tight but manageable. The balcony area is small - room with terrace is a better option for ppl who don't care for a bathtub /jacuzzi in their room.

We had the suite because we were traveling with 2 children. Great space and an even better view. The staff is amazing and the bar cafe was great. The young lady that works there would make the food every night and it looked amazing... we were just never there for food. Not a five star hotel due to the overall age but definitely one of the best options with a view for the price. Would go back in a heart beat.

Incredible views and balcony over looking Positano. Hotel room is clean and neat, nothing fancy, nice breakfast in the morning. But the balcony is what makes this place great!!! And Tony at the front desk is the best!!!!!

This hotel has a beautiful view. The only thing I have to say is that we just came from 6 nights in Sicily with an even better view, more space, a pool overlooking the water and a fitness center for the same price. I'm sure it's because of the different locations. I probably would not choose this hotel again, however the staff was very nice and had great recommendations for restaurants. Every place they told us about ended up being our favorite spots! I believe the front desk man is Tony and he ... Read more

The hotel has a great location if you are in Positano for a few nights. The veiws are simply spectacular and the rooms are nice and bright and a good size. The seaview rooms all have balconies where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Rooms are very clean and kept very well. Its about a 20 minute walk down many flight of stairs to go to the beach and the town centre, however there is a bus that stops right in front of the hotel that takes you to town (3 minutes). Great hotel, excellent service from the front desk and great location. Wonderful dinner recommendation for at La Tagliata. The hotel was beautiful and loved the art work. The Sea View Room had a huge balcony and was very clean and spacious enough. Staff was extremely helpful and honest as I carelessly left a purse with both cash and euros behind in the restaurant the morning we left. One call to the front desk assured me it was retrieved and would be delivered to my next destination - which is w... Read more

Booked because this was listed as a 4 star hotel, it may have been at one point, but not now. Hotel was very dated. Rooms could use an update. Mold on tiles in shower. Wifi was spotty during our 3 day stay. Location was convenient and views from balcony were beautiful.

You cannot get a better located hotel in positano with spacious rooms and balcony. Excellent place super staff and clean big rooms. It is located on the top of the cliff over looking the vast positano town and sea. The view is breathtaking. The breakfast was also good with a decent spread. The hotel does not have a swimming pool but why do you need one when there is a vast sea. Tip if you are self driving then car parking is an issue and the parking in positano is over the roof.

The picture that they have online was from our balcony. I read other tripadvisor reviews and they told us the best room for the views. It was also the largest balcony. Highly recommend this room if you can afford the extra. I can't even begin to describe the views from the Hotel and the surrounding areas. Amazing, breathtaking, life changing. The panoramic views from the balcony are of the cliff side, the beach and the ocean. If you have bad knees it is worth the extra time to follow the streets... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It's a quirky little place with art and other memorabilia around the place, which we liked. The staff are lovely, very accommodating and helpful. We had a slight problem at check-in but this was resolved with minimal inconvenience. The hotel is at the top of a hill (as many places in Positano are) but the local bus 'interno Positano' stops at the bus stop right outside every 30 mins or so and tickets cost ?1.30 in advance or ?1.70 from the driver. I stayed here with my family earlier this month for 4x nights. There were 5 of us. The Hotel is quite cute, with free wifi and breakfast included. The rooms themselves are quite basic, and not very big. But we had a decent sized balcony overlooking the sea. There are even sunchairs and a small table and chairs. The breakfast was actually quite good with a selection of cereals, patries, cold meats and fruit. The location itself was also quite good. It is at the top of the mountain so the view is... Read more

Important to note we visited the hotel in 2010 (had to click on 2015 by default). The hotel is quite the boutique hotel, sitting high up the hill above the town. Parking is a problem in that they park the cars half way down the hill. Getting into town to shop is easier done by getting a taxi. The rooms are nice and clean. We had a shared patio which gave us incredible views of the bay. The restaurant there is amazing and worthwhile eating in.
