This hotel is in the heart of the city and offers rooms and breakfast, but no restaurant although it does have a bar. Eating out is so easy as it is surrounded by excellent Trattorias, bars, cafes and restaurants.

My husband and I arrived at this hotel late after our flight from Rome had been delayed. It was so nice to come into a large room with a comfortable bed and just lay down for a while. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants. In the morning we walked to the Palermo Cathedral and back, this walk took us through a market where people had set up booth with olives, meat, bread, etc. It was a nice experience that I wasn't expecting.

our holiday hotel was changed to rhis one at last minute. Hotel nar was closed whole of our visit so nowhere to gwt coffee etc. Teamaking facility in rooms had no milk or coffee and any items used on day one were not repleniahed during three days of our stay. Breakfast was ok but fresh fruit was limited to apples, kiwifruit and oranges but not pre-prepared like selection at uk Premier Inn chain. Coffee from machine was vile. Room facilities for hanging up clothes limited and no drawers or shelves... Read more

There were 6 of us (3 couples) and we stayed at the Garibaldi for a weekâ??s tourism. Itâ??s a great base for visiting Palermo and other towns by train such as Cefalu and Agrigentum. We can recommend it. The literature says there's a bar - there isn't. What is there is to provide welcome drinks to the incoming coach parties (Saga and the like). Don't think that you can drop in and get a beer Rooms facing the main road are to be avoided if you wish to sleep - weekends are specially noisy. We r... Read more

For me, Hotel Garibaldi's location is the best recommendation for the hotel. If you are taking the Prestia e Comande Bus from the Falcone-Borsellino airport, it is an easy half block walk from the Politeama Square stop (about a 40 minute ride from the airport). Also the entire city is very walkable from the hotel, and as others have mentioned, there are no shortage of restaurants close by. Modern decor, clean, pleasant staff---a solid 4 star hotel (European standard).

We enjoyed staying at the Garibaldi. Great & central location in a decent part of Palermo with plenty of local restaurants & bars nearby. We had a very large room with comfy bed & good air con - and fortunately it was at the back, as rooms at the front are on a very busy main road. Breakfast could be very busy if there are big coach parties staying. Staff were really pleasant and helpful!

We enjoyed our night at Hotel Garibaldi. It's very centrally located, the staff was helpful, and the room was spacious. There were some items in our room from a previous photo shoot, leading us to believe our room was already occupied, but they quickly took them away.

Hotel is in very good place,,, walk distance to all important places, bus stops to and from airport, to and from Mondello and all tourist attractions,,, room has lack of any items which makes place cozy and nice (empty white wals - it will change a lot if management will put something on the walls even the "cheap art"),,, air condition very very loud,,, breakfast good,,, very nice and helpful staff,,, overall hotel was good comparing the price I have paid (300e for 4nights for 3people instead of... Right in the centre of the city you can walk to all ofer and its also close to bus stops that go to th und beach for example. The rooms are big and clean, the staff is nice, the breakfast is really good. Totally worth it! And i would gladly come back.

We visited here with a large group end of April '16. I have fairly positive memories of this hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. As the weather was still not very warm, there was no need to use air con. The bathroom was modern and lacked adequate storage space for the large volume of toiletries and cosmetics that most modern travellers have. A small shelf would have been great. Breakfast was fine in a compact dining area, with good cereals, breads and preserves. There was... Read more

Hotel is clean and the rooms are big. But sadly it hasn't has an charme. The breakfast is okay, but the staff could be a little more helpful. All in all it is a good hotel, but not as nice as expected.
