Let me start with a positive, the staff at the hotel are really good and helpful. The breakfast is good with plenty of food to choose from and is located on the 12th floor of the hotel with wonderful views of the city. The rooms are comfortable to a degree ( read on) and are clean. However, the hotel is advertised as having air conditioning, but not at this time of year?! ( then why say you have it) The rooms were far too hot ( at 22c) and when asked the staff said they do all they could to tu... Read more

This is a great hotel, modern, 5 elevators and on the ground floor, so you don't have to drag your suitcase up stairs to enter the building. Room was very spacious as was the bathroom, bathroom had a great soaking tub. Served a very good free breakfast on the 12th floor so you can have an aerial view of the city while eating your breakfast. The beds were so comfortable, pillow a little hard, but by the end of the day of site seeing it didn't matter very much. Would definitely recommend this ... Read more

We arrived and we were given a double room for a family of four. We had made our reservation the night prior, it was obvious the person responsible for the room prep did not pay attention to the occupancy number. This is about the only negative thing I can say. The bellman prepped our room in a matter of minutes, the hotel is very well decorated, modern and my children loved the bathtub. Breakfast was good and the staff was kind and accommodating. I would go back!!!

I spent 2 nights there and the hotel is pretty good. The rooms are big and the amenities are fine as well. the breakfast is in the 12th floor and it is pretty impressive the view of the city. Definitely a very good choice going to such a pretty city :) The only drawback is that there is no gym in the hotel.

We stayed at the NH Hotel Mantegna recently and our stay was outstanding. We were given a beautiful room, new, large, with an immense king size bed, fully equipped with a working station and with a really nice bathroom. All was immaculate and smelling lovely. We had dinner at the restaurant located at the 12th floor overlooking the city of Padua. The food was de-li-ci-ous! As well as the service and the care the waiters took on all the peole eating there. This is a very pleasant 4star hotel with spacious rooms and modern decor. However, I was astonished to find that it was impossible to control the air conditioning in my room. There is a controller on the wall, but as it didn't seem to work, I queried with Reception who advised that the controllers are not connected and that the temperature and ventilation levels are set as standard for the whole hotel - crazy. We were immediately given a wifi slip on the spot for us to sign into their wifi. There was an option for upgraded wifi, but as long as there's wifi, I'm happy. We had our dinner at the top of the hotel. Pretty excellent service, but I notice they are a little short on staff when I realized one guy is both stationed at the restaurant and at the bar. The hotel is clean and airy. It is about 15mins walk from the main bus and railway station in Padua, so is well located. We chose this hotel because it's cheaper compared to staying at hotel in Venice. Located about 15 minutes walk from the train station (about 1km++). This train station is where we took a train to Venice. A walk to the city area will be abit far, but if you got a whole afternoon, you can slowly walk and explore the Padova town. Still a convenient, basic hotel, with friendly but limited service. It is well priced for business travelers. Check-in and check-out are simple and efficient. The rooms are plain, although you can upgrade to a nice room for a limited sum. The bathrooms have been updated, but the lighting is still not great and when I took a shower, the entire bathroom was flood... Read more

Our last hotel on our tour to Italy and it was by far the best. All the conveniences we Americans like plus a gigantic breakfast offered on the 12th floor. The beds were so comfortable, the room and bedroom were large, it was clean, the lobby big. The staff was helpful. It is also located just a block from the public bus stop that my husband and I used to get to the airport. Everything was perfect!

Ideally situated for a city break. Staff extremely helpful and rooms really well appointed with fantastically comfortable king size beds and beautiful bedding. Shower powerful and hot. Can fault the decor and general repair and state of the hotel, really pleased to have stayed here and would definitely recommend.

The stay at this NH hotel did not meet my expectations. It was very basic. Things like shower and toilet working poorly. Most disturbing was that it wasn't as close to the center as they announce it is: it is at least 30 minutes walk to arrive in the center center, not just the outskirts of it!

the facilities are really good, they upgraded us for a wonderful suite for a few more bucks. Breakfast is fantastic, including gluten free rolls and crackers. Very pleasant view from the windows. The only negative is the air conditioning. You can't control it yourself, and the room was always too warm. Everything else was perfect, even the distance to city center. For 5 to 10 euros they call you a taxi and they can go inside the historical part of the town and drop you right in front of yous des... Read more

Although the (superior) rooms are of good size, the hotel promised free Wi-Fi and it practically does not work. I stayed 6 nights and most of the time the Internet was so slow that it was virtually impossible to read email. Amazingly the reception told me that they have upgraded the system some weeks ago ... but obviously it was a lousy job. Totally unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Breakfast was average, with the usual powder eggs (I don't understand why hotels do not serve real eggs) and... Read more

As many NH hotel it is good hotel, modern furniture, good service, our room was spacious and the hotel is quiet during the night. Breakfast is lavish with a big buffet. Keep attention to the parking: you can park free outside, while parking inside costs about 10 euro per night. No one adviced us, we found the cost at the checkout.

Needing to make a morning flight from Venice airport after returning the rental car (probably allow 90 mins from the hotel to get to airport check-in), we selected this hotel for its good ‚??getaway‚?? location. This location is on the edge of a light-industrial estate and about 30 mins walk from the centre of Padua. We found it quite difficult finding a taxi to return to the hotel (10‚?¨ cost). There is very limited free parking at the front of the hotel - we found the last space. This high-r... Read more

With its modern design and architecture, the warmth of the rooms and alleys make you feel at home. The rooms are great and the food is exceptionally good. I recommend you request a room at a higher floor as the cityscape views are excellent. You won't miss the view nevertheless as the breakfast is served on the 12th floor and the restaurant provides 360 degrees view of Padova. The hotel is conveniently situated just around 1 KM - 5 minutes walk - from the main railway and bus station that takes ... Read more

Clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast is good with a really nice view. The receptionist Raman is very helpful and friendly. please change hairdryers, they are very weak and don't work more then 3 min. so if you have long hair bring your own hairdryer with you.
