On The plus side the hotel is located in a lagoon with a really nice Beach area. The staff in the beach bar, restaurant are very very helpfull. The gourmet restaurant is really good and we were lucky that they had a wine testing arrangement while we were there which was a fantastic evening. The cleaning was good. The life guard was friendly and helpfull. To get to 5 Stars their breakfast should be open until 12, i'm at holiday! The staff in The reception should learn about service! Most, not al... Read more

First thing, I have to mention the very friendly staff. We have been treated very well and exceptionally friendly. The hotel has seen better times, I guess and needs some renovation. The rooms are small and the interior of most of the hotel is old fashioned and would need replacement. Especially when you consider the prices. The breakfast fast very good and the location directly at the beach is very nice. Unfortunately our room had some issue with the piping, I guess and smelled really bad... Read more

A big Thank you to all Hotel Staff for having made our stay such a pleasure:-) Spa/Wellness is also nice with excellent Massages, Grazie Mille Natascia :-)

PLUSES: close to beach quiet area pleasant staff NEGATIVES: split site - reception side lacking in atmosphere. public spaces largely empty. bar not manned. 'comfort' rooms (rather than upgraded 'garden' rooms) quite basic and small - toiletries limited (no shampoo/tissues/face cloths). No room service menu. no general information literature. poor sound proofing between rooms and from outside rooms. air conditioning has to be REQUESTED - no in room control. means ringing down to r... Please remember this is just the opinion of my husband and I. We spent a week here in May. If you want peace and quiet, lots of relaxation and early nights, this is the place for you. I needed this type of break and it was just the ticket. On arrival we were given the choice of two rooms. We chose room 208, which had the afternoon and evening sunshine. However, initially (first day or so) there was a distinct drains smell, but we put that down to being the beginning of the season and the r... Read more

The baech is beautiful, the hotel is nice. The staff, especially Tiziana, Emanuel, Matao and Antonio were fantastic. The food is great. This was a great weekend get away from the hustle and bustle of Italy travels. This is an adults only hotel so that was also nice.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week holiday in Sardinia to round off with a bit of luxury and relaxation close to the airport - for this purpose we very much enjoyed it. Rooms: Standard rooms are across the road and not beach side, but still very nice with usually a side on view towards the sea and beach which was still very nice. Beach side rooms are across the road by the beach side garden and beach. (literally 30 second walk from main hotel) Service: Very good. Not excellent. Chris... Read more

We stayed seven nights in June, breakfast and dinner included in a Deluxe Sea View Double. Negatives look to out weigh the positives below but I'd still recommend the establishment, especially the setting, just with caveats. Ultimately it is pricey and there is sloppiness. We had two different rooms during our stay so could weigh up the consistency... Positives: breakfast good, mostly attentive and friendly waiting staff. There's a private beach and garden overlooking the sea. Great views, espe... Read more

Excellent hotel; beautifully situated if you have a room overlooking the beach and water (a must). Restful. Easy going. Need a car. Two niggles: too much Muzak of indifferent quality so why not turn it off? service could be better Two suggestions: a better welcoming pack with maps and restaurant recommendations as good/gourmet ones are thin on the ground more offers on sailing opportunities inc improving your sailing

Pittulongu is an amazing village with very nice people and wonderful sea and beaches! The Pelican Beach Resort & Spa is a very nice place to enjoy Sardinia. The hotel is divided in two parts, one on the beach and the second on the other side of the street (that has the outdoor pool that you can reach directly from your room). The breakfast is nice, in the restaurant on the beach. The sea and the beach are really very nice. I would turn back there ;)

The Pelicanbeach resort is a fine place to be. No children allowed and relatively quiet. The staff in the reception are very nice. Speaking of good service I would like to highlight the bar keeper Antonio. He was taking good care of us. I can be a little challenging finding a parking spot in the street. There is however a possibility to park in the hotels basement but it is not known to me how much room they have or what the cost is. The breakfast buffet offers all the traditional items such as... Loved that the hotel was adults only. Nice garden and beach with reserved sunbeds for hotel guest. Ok size room with a small balcony and see view. Housekeeping needs to pay a bit more attention to details e.g. batteries in the remote to the television, half empty bottles of water in the minibar.... However it was small issues, what we really appreciated was the bar manager, Antonio. He was just outstanding, served drinks in the garden and at the beach with a smile and I do think he loved his job... Read more

We stayed at pelican for a whole week. And really enjoyed our stay! We stayed on the 20th floor and the view was absolutely beautiful. The beach was so gorgeous..the only thing we really didn't like didn't involve the resort that much. But we have very limited beach space. And with so many resort chairs lined up,the guests has so much of there personal belongings (which was understandable) surrounding the front line of the beach. It made it almost impossible to leave any room for anyone to acc... Read more

Stayed here for our honeymoon for 10 days. Very nice hotel with a very grown up feel. We booked it knowing it was an adults only hotel and found that in our late twenties we were in the minority, as it was mostly older couples. Had a nice quiet peaceful atmosphere, with an average beach out front, though easy access to sun loungers and umbrellas. Also had a pool with a couple of loungers in the main hotel area which was mostly quiet and nice for a relaxing break from the busy beaches. Access to... Read more

We enjoyed two lovely weeks at the Pelican. Let me be clear: it is beautiful, well maintained with a team ( from gardener to owner) who take such pride in their work. The rooms ( we were in the garden bit) are lovely, the gardens are pretty, the beach is small but great, the pool a bit sparse but very nice, the gym teeny but with a view to die for. The restaurant is lovely - great food by a chef who is clearly impassioned ( we did half board) served by a team who work wonderfully together and ve... Read more

If you're looking for a quaint place with a perfect view and location, then this is the place for you. Because of it's small size, it is very quiet and you can always find a place to sit either on the beach, on the grassy lawn, by the pool, or on the covered patio with amazing views. The staff is excellent - we felt a very warm welcome from Cristina. The spa is nice too - quite small, but clean, innovative showers, and friendly staff. We were a bit disappointed with our room - so be careful ... Read more

We were Looking for a Nice place to relax at. The Hotel is very nice and clean. And staff is very friendly. We were very well looked after. We only had breakfast included. The restaurant Is good. Although we were happy we could choose from the a la carte menu as we are rather small eaters and the 4 course menu for the half board guest scared the hell out of us. There a few restaurants in walking distance (10-20min) and one small supermarket. Otherwise there is not much going on around the hotel... Read more

If you're looking for a quiet holiday this spot is perfect. A small hotel, very clean and tidy, a lovely view of the sea and mountains. Good food, great service, very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in a sea side view room, which was very clean and fine for what we wanted. Although there were plenty of people who spent all their time on the beach/sun loungers we decided to explore the north of the island and return late afternoon for drinks and dinner. For us car hire was essential. There ... Read more

My wife and I had a very enjoyable and restful 1 week holiday. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and quiet. All the staff we came in contact with were most helpful and pleasant. We had booked B&B only but used the hotel restaurant on most occasions and the food was excellent. On a number of occasions we used other local restaurants which were OK but not the quality of the Pelican Hotel restaurant. We thought about hiring a car for a couple of days to explore the area further but decided t... Read more

We stopped at the Pelican Beach Resort for a few days as our base to explore northern Sardinia. We weren't sure what to expect and were truly pleased with our choice. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The facility and grounds were well kept. The rooms were comfortable. We swam in the Mediterranean off the hotel beach and then drove a short way to reach restaurants in the area. This was a truly relaxing introduction to Sardinia.

My partner and I wanted a relaxing, chilling with no itinerary holiday and we got just that! I love the fact the private beach is just a stones throw away. We went near the end of September so it wasn't as busy. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. There are lots of areas to sit and relax, never busy so you can get a bit of piece and quiet. Food at the restaurant was a little pricey but very nice and tasty. We ate there 2 nights and at nearby restaurants on the other 2 nights. I wo... Read more

Lovely resort on the beach which is supposed to be private but it's open to the public areas on all sides Pool area is not secure. Anyone can walk,in off the beach. Hardly private Never use a taxi ordered by the hotel. Guaranteed it will cost you double Shuttle bus is not free, costs almost as much as a taxi
