Stayed one night. We chose this place because of good reviews, attractive price and perfect location, just next to the train and metro stations. Room was so much better than on the photos, spacious, filled with light, nice clean design with super comfy, new bed. Grand bathroom, again, very big and beautiful, renovated, with everything you might need. The only negative thing, and its not about the hotel itself - the incredibly noisy street outside. Local drivers love to honk. We asked for a room ... Read more

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and used it as a base to visit Naples. Close to the station - we arrived by train and left by train thus location suited. The room was well appointed although the "free" wifi left a lot to be desired. We upgraded to the business WIFI at a cost of EU6 per day - on check out with a brief comment that the free wifi was not working well the cost was reimbursed - not an issue. The breakfast was excellent. Close proximity to the Metro was useful and we found deli... Read more

The hotel is located just across the left side as you come out of Napoli's Central Station, Ideal if you there for a night, and have arrived by train and you will depart by train. The check in was a little slow and in my opinion the staff at reception could do with some training on how to smile and have a acquire some passion towards their job, they seem to do you a favor by checking you in. I was picked up soon after by a business associate. When I returned about 10pm, apart from the fact the... Read more

Nice hotel, literally across street from train station making it very convenient for trip to pompeii or anywhere else in italy. Breakfast was delish- hot and cold items. Hotel room was polished and clean. Would stay here again. Did not venture out around the hotel.

Had to take my sister and her elderly, disabled husband up to Naples to get their flight back to USA so needed to be a VERY short walk to the station and this hotel was perfect. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Lifts to all floors and an excellent breakfast. Thank you for helping make this a stress free visit.

My wife and I have stayed here on prior occasions but were treated much better than our most recent experience. We arrived at the hotel about 3:30p. Checking was okay, not the most friendly, but not rude. When we arrived at our room we noted it was one floor above the street that passes between the hotel and the train station. Within 15 minutes we had had more than enough of the traffic noise - large trucks, constant honking of car horns. We called the front desk and requested a room change. The... Read more

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The hotel is right opposite the train station which is why we made a reservation here, and is within easy travelling distance of many of the city attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and well appointed. Wi-fi worked very well. Lifts serve all floors and the upper floors have a superb view over Mount Vesuvius. The hotel is situated on a large square - Garibaldi - which has numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel breakfast was ver... Read more

After staying in the NH most of Italy, we found this hotel lacking a lot service. The staff at reception are not friendly and particular the older man was not at all helpful! The towels in the bathroom needs to be replaced ! Lucky we got a executive room on 6 th floor so we didn't have noise issues. I didn't rate the breakfast , , was basic . Not much option for vegetarian . I wouldn't recommend any of my family or friends to stay here. Not much bathroom amenities so bring your own body lot... Read more

This hotel is a lot to be desired it is in a noisy, dirty and extremely busy area, busy as in traffic that does not stop and trains trundling by day and night. On entering the hotel you think this appears clean and nicely furnished but there is where it stops. The staff are not friendly or welcoming it appears an effort for them to give you the time of day. In the evening the place is like a morgue you have to go to reception to get someone to serve you a drink and then wait ages, no entertainment... Read more

Most unwelcoming staff ever. They did not like Americans. Sooo loud by the train station with honking all night! Actual hotel was nice but not worth it with the staff. Also there was no iron or fan for the room. There is laundry service but wayyy over priced.

This is a superb hotel. Well up to 4 stars apart from breakfast being a bit unimaginative. Spotlessly clean. Lifts all over the place. Huge well appointed lobby with comfy couches. Had a superior room with a balcony. Worth the little extra. Right next to the station so no problems about arguing with taxi drivers about 'broken meters'. here you see real Naples. next door to hotel is a fantastic retaurant-- Ristorante Ettore-- go nowhere else! I agree the staff are not 'polished' and the wi... Read more

We've spent 4 nights here and we've slept very well! Location next to metro snd train stations is great too. Receptionists are all rarely nasty. Breakfast is repetitive but ok. Our double room and bathroom are very big and very clean.

We stayed here for one night in transit from Sorrento to Florence. It was a great location as the station was across the road. That said it's very loud with the traffic outside your window - constant honking. Contrary to how it looks outside, inside it's very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Our third trip, following two excellent experiences. As usual, I booked online, paying in full in advance, for two rooms for three nights (through hotels.com). The hotel sent a reminder and re-confirmation email two days before the booking. But when we arrived as scheduled on 7th July 2016, we were told our two rooms were unavailable. Despite the hotel's cock-and-bull story about ‚??the system having gone down‚??, it was clear the hotel had decided to a accept a better offer and simply ki... Read more

We had a reservation for a night with the hotel. When we reached there at check in time they told us that since there was no room available in the hotel they were shifting us to an equally good 4 star property nearby. We had had a long tiring journey and were appalled that despite a reservation we were being told this. We told them we had chosen the hotel for the location and brand and why would we settle for something else. To which their pathetic response was that their systems were not funct... Read more

Next to metro and train station. Walk able distance towards the left to some shopping lanes. Plus - There are hotel rooms with Mount Vesuvius view (we took that, its awesome! Minus - If you take the Mount Vesuvius view or next to the road, you will constantly hear honking sound day and night. So choose rooms wisely. Also wifi kept going off. When asked to the receptionist, she said keep connecting!! But that's okay. Professional and friendly staff. Nice spread of breakfast. I will recommend ... Read more

The hotel was great. The staff were friendly the breakfast included a broad range of things to choose from. It's conveniently located near the station but this also meant it was busy and a bit noisy. Nothing that you wouldn't expect from staying in the middle of the city.

Checked in for a one night stay. Check-in took a while but got there in the end. Bedroom spacious and bed very comfortable. Restaurant not bad - a bit limited, but serviceable. Wifi free but practically non-existent, and the 'business centre' was a Mac on the same wifi network with a broken printer. Good for one night, but would not recommend for much longer.

It's actually a great hotel, but I think that the pictures of cocktails and breakfast is very misleading - as the rooftop is closed for every "non important" person. As a travel blogger, I only choose this hotel because of the views and great photo options. We where also promised (two times) that we could have a breakfast on the roof, as it was my boyfriends birthday.. But when we asked in the restaurant (as told), we where told that it was never an option. Only important people got to eat at th... Read more

The location of the hotel is great. 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. Next to metro station called Piazza Garibaldi. If you want to get to the islands (Ischia, Capri), you should head to Station Municipio (ticket is one euro). I did not like the hotel staff cause they were too cold and distant. Decent breakfast with salty things too. The room was clean, but old fashioned. Needs some renovation. The hotel is very well placed for travel from the train station. I only used the hotel as a base for one day, so I wasn't venturing out in the surrounding area, however, being a single female traveller, I didn't feel too comfortable in the surrounding area I did see. The hotel reception, lobby and restaurant were lovely and welcoming, however the rooms did let the place down. I was in a single room, which was comfortable enough and provided what I needed. The hotel is located in an excellent location. Our room was facing the train station and we could enjoy the night city from our balcony The breakfast is also good. The room size was average; I think this is quite common in Italy. The worst thing is the reception. The receptionist who served our check out had little concern about doing her job rather focused on talking to a friend. We had to wait several minutes until she completed her discussion.

This hotel is very close to the station, which is useful, but also makes for a very noisy stay! The area around the hotel is not the nicest - lots of street sellers and graffiti, but then that sums up Naples. Having already stayed in two other hotels of this brand on our holiday, we were very disappointed with this one. The staff on reception were brusque and not very friendly. Our room was quite small and the decor was bland and in need of some TLC. Our room was at the side of the hotel that ... Read more

We were flying in to Naples quite late in the evening and were due to travel out to the Amalfi coast the next day, so were looking for a good place to rest for the night. The Starhotels terminus fit the bill perfectly. The hotel is seriously understaffed at late evenings and we had to be checked in by the Manager, who seemed to have forgotten how the systems worked. A couple of restaurants around the vicinity and a shopping mall just opposite the hotel.
