Was here on holiday for a week. I found the room clean and tidy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The port for boat trips was less than 10 minutes walk away - perfect when I decided on the morning to take a trip to Sorrento. Also the hotel is within easy reach of the Bay of Naples - perfect for lunchtime or evening walk. My criticism would be regarding the housekeeping of the bathroom. Cleanliness was fine, but on some days I found the shower mat replaced....and on another day taken aw... Read more

Although the staff were very helpful and on expressing our disappointment the manager provided us with an upgraded room for the duration of our stay, this hotel lacks the facilities normally expected of a Mercure brand 4-star hotel. There were no restaurant facilities in the evening, only breakfast. The bar and lounge facilities were practically non-existent, being an extension of the reception area, which in itself was only equipped with a small desk. There are no parking facilities in the hote... Read more

Thank you Valeria, Mary and the entire team! You assisted us to have a super business meeting this past week. Everything went great - the rooms were clean and quiet, the breakfast was plentiful and the walking location to all areas close by to the cruise port. We stayed a total of four nights and very thankful for all of your attention.

Following a tour around the Amalfi Coast, my wife and I stopped at the Mercure for 2 nights. It was in an ideal location for us, the room decor was functional & modern, the staff were good, the breakfast good enough and the terrace overlooking the castle superb. For the price, it was fantastic The only improvements that could be are: room size is adequate and not spacious and the decor in the corridors is a bit cheap, however, I would fully recommend staying here to all my friends.

We were only in Naples for one day and needed a hotel that put us close to the port for an early morning ferry to Ischia. We were looking for a clean hotel in a good location at a good price and this is exactly what Le Mercure delivered. The single rooms were not big but were perfectly adequate; the room and the bathroom were clean. Defintiely worth 80 euros per night. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple, clean hotel in a great location.

I don't understand why it is a 4 star hotel. The bathroom is not clean at all. The furnitures are old. The hall way smells like cigarettes. The location is petty convient though. Breakfast is good. I paid extra for staying in this hotel ,not worth it. Not recommend.

Excellent location but staff struggled with English. Frustrating wifi set up involving a scan. Good sized rooms which is always a problem in Southern Europe. Not happy that mini bar was not stocked with wine. Air conditioner switches needed a diploma in aeronautical engineering to figure out.

Whatever you may expect from 4+* hotel is there. Clean fresh (but small) rooms, friendly and sensitive service, great breakfast with breath taking view, best possible location. Wish they had bathrobes there. This hotel deserves it.

We stayed here whilst attending the EGOS conference. The hotel is very central so there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. Our rooms were spacious and clean with free WIFI. We had a view of the castle which is now a museum and is definitely worth a visit. The breakfast each morning was great - plenty to choose from and you can either eat outside on the terrace or inside. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - Especially the two ladies on reception duty - Maria and Martina - they real... Read more

The hotel is in a good location with lots happening nearby. Mercure hotels are a good standard at a reasonable price and this one is no exception. The staff were helpful and friendly; the room was very acceptable; and there was a good selection at breakfast. It was exactly what I expected.

Stayed for one night and the room had all facilities including coffee machine. Room temperature was fine but had to ask for the aircon to be switched on upon arrival because at first it was too hot. The hotel is overall a bit old and needs refurbishing. Nice terrace for breakfast.

Stayed here recently for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. We had three rooms and ours 410 had a balcony which overlooked the people across the road from the hotel lol, bit too close for comfort!! No complaints about the room though and was nice and clean. We made our way down to the port from the hotel and if you turn to the right and carry on walking it is beautiful, it is about 15 mins walk but worth the effort plenty of bars overlooking the marina, this was advised by one of the hot... We were there traveling with friends. The room was big enough, clean, the breakfast on the terrace with view to the Angioino Castle was very good. This hotel is a very good base to explore the region. We visited a lot of places in just a few days and everythig was possible with the help of the Reception and the van they call for us. Francesco, our driver was super, he drove us to Vesuviu, Pompei and in another whole day to Amalfi, Sorrento and Positano.

Stayed a night here while stopping by in Naples for a friend's birthday... Reception was friendly and checking in was smooth and quite quick. Bedroom was simple and comfortable for one night stay although the bathroom drainage really needs some repair and maintenance. Both our room and another friend's room had similar issue. Location of the hotel is within 5mins walk of the Castel Nuovo, so that's very convenient. The hotel shuttle to the central train station was also at a very reasonable p... Read more

Really enjoyed this hotel. The location is perfect for taking ferries to Capri and the Amalfi Coast and is also a short walk to the main shopping street and the royal sights, a little further to the old area. Very close to the metro and just two stops from the central station. Breakfast was very good and served in a nice room with a terrace although the view is currently of a construction site. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The rooms weren't huge but very well done out and had ... Read more

This Mercure Hotel is located in a wonderful location: downtown, front view to the sea and to the Angioino Castle. Bus and tram stations are really stuck and also the local shopping areas are at walking distance, as well as restaurants, Piazza Plebiscito, Via Toledo and the funicolare station to go to Vomero. The perfect solution for a bed and breakfast stay. According to the wheather, it is possible to have breakfast on the terrace. The offer is in international standard (suit and salty) wit... Read more

Mercure Napoli delivered at short notice great rooms at a very favorable rate, included with breakfast. The location is very good between the old city and harbor. The rooms are modern, well appointed and sound proof. We had rooms on the main road (301 double/ balcony/ view/ shower and 311 double/ balcony/ view/ bath) and no noise. The bathroom is nice, good water pressure. Breakfast is served as a very good buffet. And the breakfast room/restaurant on the third floor has a terras with a view tow... Read more

We booked here from the strength of the reviews. The location is excellent, next to a metro stop, next to the dock. Easy access to ferries etc. We arrived after quite a long day to a very friendly member of staff who sorted check in. He went through the process and sorted my Accor membership to be added on. He proceeded to tell us our room was allocated to 503 (later found out this was a privilege room), before his colleague shouted something in Italian. We the were told it was a mistake and ou... We stayed here one night. The hotel is an 11 euro taxi ride (on a fixed fare rate) to the train station and about 18 euros to the airport. The hotel has breakfast terrace with a great view off the castle. It is within walking distance of the port and the shopping district as well. This would make a great base to go to the islands. The staff was extremely helpful especially Tiziana who helped locate a lost bag that I had lost on a bus. She made repeated call to the bus company on my behalf, a... Read more
