First off I would like to say I give this a 2 because I won't stay there again. It is OK for a budget place and if you aren't staying long but I wouldn't recommend it. Pros: 24 hour reception, close to main station, relatively cheap. Breakfast was ok, staff were reasonably friendly. Cons: The lift costs money to use, there is a security door (which is good) but we had to ring numerous times and had to wait quite a while before we were let in. The area while convenient and close to the station... Read more

Great place close to the train station and subway. Easy to get around. Staff was helpful and there's a great breakfast spread with choice of coffee, croissant and more. Place is kept spotless. Not a lot of restaurant options close by and the Wifi didn't work in the room at the end of the hall, but worked well in common areas. Solo female traveller and didn't have any issues walking around the area in the evening, but wouldn't go out alone too late.

We stayed in this hotel for a night, since we were travelling to sorrento from here and we were looking for a cheap place to crash. Best thing about this hotel is the location, location, location!! We didn't like the facilities, it was not maintained well, most of the appliances was broken. Somehow we didn't like the staff too, the one guy who was sitting at the reception was not much of a help. And the breakfast was too limited. Although just 5 minutes walk from napels central station, most imp... Read more

First just to manage peoples expectations, its not the Ritz and doesn't try to be. When you arrive it looks in a bit of a seedy area, but its as safe as can be, much of naples looks the same, but if you judged every book by its cover you'd miss out on many of the best. Its located on the second floor and when you get inside its very nice indeed. Its location in terms of naples itself is in the centre, within a few minutes walk of the central train station, bus station, metro and circumvesuvia... Read more

As a lot of people have doubts about the locality of this hotel, I would like to say that with the price that you're paying and how nearby this hotel is from the central station, you shouldn't complain much. The area is of course not really nice and looks a bit scary, but we checked in after 10PM and everything was in order. Since it is a really short walk, it is totally fine. A lot of people were outside, drunks as well but no one bothered us. Now about the hotel, rooms are very clean, almost... Read more

I am from Napoli but needed a place to stay near the station after a late evening flight to go to the coast the next morning and my family home is way too far. We picked this based on reviews and price, which is very fair (under 50euros for double with breakfast). The area is what it is - grotty and not really pleasant especially arriving at midnight, sad reality of what once used to be a beautiful area of the old town. The building is a typical Neapolitan palazzo, with an old but functioning wr... Read more

We choosed this place because it is close to train/bus station and our bus was leaving next day at 5am. Surroundings is little bit scary and messy, but we didn't have bad experience (4 guys, 1 girl). Maybe look out for your things, just to be sure. :) Hotel itself is very nice - we were very surprised how fancy it looks inside! Very nice and clean place, looks even better than on photos! Man on reception was nice to us, helpfull, early check in wasn't a problem, because you leave your keys insid... Read more

this hotel is in a very convenient location if you intend to go sightseeing. the surrounding area is indeed very run down and full of dodgy looking people although it has to be said, they never bothered us in any way. the staff are very nice and do try to help you although there is the obvious language barrier. it is very clean and the beds were comfy. the aircon worked great and no extra charge was good. the cleaning staff were lovely girls always said hello and with a smile. breakfast was basi... This clearly family run hotel is a good option for budget travellers who want to be close to the train station. In that sense, the location is good, but the surrounding area is not very nice. I would not recommend for a woman travelling alone, as the people on the streets around were quite intimidating and even as a group of two we didn't feel comfortable going out late to find food, for example. The hotel interior is fresh and clean though, despite the shabby building it's located in. We had ... Read more

The location is convenient for getting around if you have things planned outside of Naples thanks to the proximity to the central station (which is very modern and the trains are easy to use and cheap). However the area of Naples surrounding the hotel doesnâ??t inspire confidence. The streets are littered and busy in an area notorious for theft, making us a little uncomfortable. The staff are mostly friendly but us being non Italian-speaking visitors, there were a few occasions where we feel ou... Read more

Naples was the first stop on our Italy trip and although the city did disappoint, the hotel is hard to fault for the price we paid. Although in a loud and slightly scary area, it was clean and functional and excellently placed for our onwards journey via train. For a quick B&B the small twin (with shared bathroom) that we had, provided everything we needed.

I stayed here for just one night, the hotel offers an excellent service for its price. Our room was a small twin, with shared toilet. It provided exactly what we needed as a B&B without having to pay a fortune! Staff are friendly and speak good English! The location is good as it is close to the station, all in all a great way to see naples for less!

I'm very, very, easy to please. I'm a Marine and personally and professionally, I embrace a "no frills", austere, lifestyle. But when I was provided a room with black stains on one towel, what appeared to be blood stains on one of the pillows, and an uncomfortable bed, I have to give this place a poor (but not "terrible") rating. Additionally, the location was less than desireable, though tolerable, and the hotel apparently used the room's balcony to dry its towels. Also, non-smoking room sm... Read more

Little hotel with a great staff. Located in the middle of the "ghetto", but the hotel was safe and tranquil. Room was cleaned up daily. There was no minibar or refrigerator, the flat tv was located too high, but the bed was good. To sum up: cheap and simple but friendly.

I strongly recommend this place, located nearby rail station and metro station. It takes about 15 minutes by foot to get to old town, two metro stops to get to ferry to Capri and other beautiful island. It's cheap!
