We booked this hotel in a package deal and did no research. If I had have obviously I wouldn't have booked it! We arrived at the hotel mid morning and everything was fine, the man spoke limited English and everything was ok. We were told to pay a city tax of 2 euros a night per person which we did and were given the keys to our 'room'. The room was disgusting not fit for humans at all... It was very outdated and in need of redecoration but most importantly it was filthy. The bedding was dirty a... Read more

Extremely cheap, good location, but really, really dirty...Go only if you must, and for one night. The stuff is helpful, but rooms are hell, everything is old, there is no hot water,...We did not feel safe...

This place is a disgrace. Can't believe it's still opened. I went thinking after all the bad comments on 2015 the might have improved not atall place should be shut down by health and safety,STILL no hot water. it did not ruin my experience had a great time. Some photos of the place they call a hotel.

The location of the hotel is good, close to Central Station and just a 10 minute walk to the historical center. The hotel itself is not so clean, rooms are big enough but noisy. For two euro you can buy WiFi in your room for three hours but it was not working. The hotel can use a clean make-over

First of all, its not a 3 stars hotel. For me it's a 1 star. This is a bad and cheap hotel, don't expect anything different from that and you will be ok. If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy the hotel itself, its cuisine, a good bath or bed, this is not your hotel. But if you just want a cheap bed to sleep and a shower to bath because in the other day early morning you will travel to the wonderful cities around, and if you read all the 1 point evaluations of trip advisor users, you won... I don't know from where their pictures come from, but it's definitely NOT from this hotel. The place is absolutely disgraceful, dirty, smelly and horrible (see my photos). I have booked 3 nights and unfortunately I had to stay all of them because there wasn't any other room available in town. I doubt they have a license to operate. It's just not possible. Run from this place.

There is a 't' where there should be a 'v', it was a hovel! No hot water, not even any water in the shower, wouldn't have used it anyway, it was filthy. Doors and windows didn't close properly, never mind lock. Paper peeling off of the walls and mould. We booked bed and breakfast which should have been served in the roof terrace restaurant except it had been closed down and wouldn't have touched any food there either. Couldn't even have have a cup of tea. Staff unfriendly, couldn't care less. I... Read more

Blood and holes on the sheets. Give you damp bedding. Mould on the walls and bathrooms. STAY WELL AWAY. Left the hotel 4 days before we should just because of how disgusting it was. I shouldn't have to subject my partner to.the question "Would you rather have blood or dirt on your side of the sheets?".

This had to be the most appalling hotel we have ever been to. Booked 7 nights and stayed for one. Our room had damp up 2 of the walls and reaked of this. It had a leaking air con and the most narrowest bathroom ever, like a hot greenhouse! Empty electric sockets, rickety, dirty old lifts. Breakfast was a joke, lumps of bread and chocolate croissants. Unhelpful staff. Given another room when complained and this was also terrible. Another room was then given which was for disabled and the lock on ... Read more

Had we spent more money to stay at Hotel Prati, we would probably have complained. However, as we had got an extremely cheap deal we decided to put up with it! Rooms definitely do not look like the ones in the photos on the website, and the bathroom was quite damp. The room was clean, but extremely warm and the air conditioning didn't work. Also opposite the loudest air conditioning unit outside which sounded like a pneumatic drill... And not in a particularly nice part of the city. I wouldn't r... Read more

This hostel was disgusting to say the least, the men at the reception were poorly presented and made us feel very uncomfortable. We booked for three nights and left within 2 hours of arriving. The rooms were dirty with mould and holes in the walls, beds were dirty and just had a "unclean" look to them. The hallways were pitch black with no lighting, we had to use the torches on our phones to find our way to our room! We were given the wrong room to start with, and then when trying to fix the iss... This hotel is situated a few minutes walk from napoli train station so location is amazing for getting around using the metro. The area around train station is ruff as expected in most large cities. The room we booked for one night wasn't expensive so we weren't expecting luxury we did expect clean though. Our first room the beds were crawling and I mean crawling with mites bed bugs. Second room no sockets wallpaper hanging off the room and for some reason the key didn't work. The bathroom was o... Read more

A long coridor with an intens smell of mould bringst you to the horrorroom. Dirty sheets, which don't get changed if you request this, and a twinge smell are waiting for you. If you miss your pet it's perfect because the shower is fluffy ;) The bathroom is black of mould and not usable.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! This hotel is by far the worst place I ever stayed. When we checked in the concierge didn't seem to have any record of our booking, this man was rude and dismissive of us even when presented with documentation that says that a room as booked and paid for. Eventually he found a room for us to stay in. As I first walked into the room I slipped on a puddle, I checked the bathroom to see where the water was coming from and was disgusted to see the state of the bathroom. while m... Read more

Stayed one night in this hotel, woke up and there were bugs crawling over the bed- i was and still am covered in bites over my face, neck, arms, hands and hips! The bathroom was a wet room but the water did not drain and there were pubes in the shower. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, EVEN FOR A STOP OVER.

Book this hotel just for one night. Last night in Italy. Worst place i have ever stayed. It was so bad that I was scared to take a shower or lie in the bed, towels in bathroom looked like from 1920, everything stinks cigarettes, wallpaper peeling etc. Breakfast - what a joke. 3 days old bread, butter and jam, that is it. This is my hones opinion, stay away from this place as you will be very disappointed.

Towels like old tablecloths, patio doors didn't close properly making for very noisy nights. Terrible neighborhood, dodgy characters everywhere. Breakfast! - inedible, outlook from room was a car park with discarded furniture and toilet seats etc. scattered around. Paper thin walls, you can hear every word from adjacent rooms. Avoid this hotel like the plague, it doesn't look anything like the photos on their web site.
