We had a pleasant stay in napoli thanks to this great place. We had alot of help, guidance and assistance from the hotel staff. HOTEL GARIBALDI is located right next to the train station, not the cleanest part of napoli, but hey, this is the real Italia! This area is fully protected by police, and we didn't have any bad moment with shoplifters. Hotel staff was excellent. Clean and tidy. Not too noisy (really central) Breakfast could be better. Defently recommended.

We were positively surprised by Hotel Garibaldi located near the Train Station of Naples of the same name. The hotel offers best value for money. We payed a decent price for a stay of 4 nights plus breakfast included. The absolute positive traits of the hotel is the friendly and helpful staff, the cleanliness of the room and its location to the train station if you want to visit the nearby charming and quaint towns (Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi) or Pompeii. Minor drawback was the lack of Internet... Read more

Close to the station and some restaurants on Garibaldi Piazza this hotel is a great location although the street it is on is a bit rough. Naples is a very dirty city and the street in front was no exception. There was a police car parked on the street most of the time. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable with a good strong shower. Continental breakfast was included which is unusual here.

Letâ??s be really honest here, itâ??s a good hotel but I wouldnâ??t stay there again. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is good and the staff is helpful. Itâ??s a few steps from Piazza Garibaldi (Napoli Central Station), but thatâ??s all. Itâ??s a good hotel option if you do not intend to actually spend some time in Naples, the area isnâ??t really nice, there are strange people around the hotel, it might be normal, but it really scared me. You do not have good options of restaurant or... Read more

I booked his hotel as I wanted something close to the station and other reviews were all favourable. The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast, while of limited choice, was plenty to set us up for the day. Naples is a crazy city and other reviews would indicate it is not everyone's cup of tea. We knew what to expect and loved every minute. As 2 females we never felt unsafe and people could not be more helpful with directions etc even though our Italian was sparse to say ... Read more

Nice, neat, small hotel next to the train station and the drop off/pick up point for the Alibus from the Airport. Very friendly people, never felt unsafe, but I think in any big city it might now be smart to go outside at midnight by yourself (as a woman at least), and so I didn't feel more unsafe than in any other location in Naples. Breakfast was decent, croissants, yoghurt, coffee, pastries, juice & fruit!

Comfortably furnished place, not the roomiest but quite adequate for the price. Bathroom could be improved, the shower stall kept nearly flooding but bravely kept it up. Staff were friendly and helpful, gave me a hand with luggage, good advice for sights to see and places to go. I received a lot of rather belated warnings about the area but didn't encounter any trouble even as an under sized female traveling alone. Also very convenient for the train station. I enjoyed my stay pretty much and wou... Read more

Napoli is Napoli! It's not Florence, it's not Venice and it's not Rome! Many guests commented on the vicinity and location being disappointing and grim. It all depends on what one expects! Napoli is a fishing town and the Italian folk are authentic as their lives revolve around the sea. I found the people helpful, friendly and eager to share their city. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance from the main city attractions. The family owned Garibaldi hotel is conveniently... Read more

This is a really good hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom worked - not necessarily a given in Italy. The staff was great, and supported us extremely well when the inevitable happened and one of us was robbed in the street. The breakfast is also great, and the lady working in the breakfast room is a real treasure. There is no lift (also common in Italy) and we were assured on arrival that someone would carry our luggage up the 2 stories to our room, but after an hour it st... Read more

We stayed here 2 weeks ago while touring Italy. The hotel was chosen by our travel agent. The Hotel is outdated and not even close to being a 4 star hotel even by European standards. There is no elevator meaning you need to carry your luggage up at least 4 sets of stairs, the rooms are outdated, bathrooms were SMALL, the so called breakfast was served in a converted bedroom with very limited choices. The Hotel is within walking distance to the major train station in Naples with the area. Being v... Read more
