My husband and I stayed at this hotel back in October and it was everything I expected after reading previous reviews. Yes it's a very quirky hotel located down an alleyway behind locked gates and is 4 floors up on the smallest lift in the world! The bed wasn't wonderful and the bathroom could have been a tad cleaner but it is what it is - cheap. The staff were very helpful and friendly though and fixed a broken light straight away when we asked. If you come out of the hotel and go left up the... Read more

Easy to reach it from "univercita " metro station, just 50 meters from Santa Chiara str a very central street in the historic center of Napoli.the room was very good with big bathroom and air condition.very good value for money room!!!in the reception they speak English (unusual for Italy) but they were not so friendly.in the first day we didn't have wifi at all and they notice it very late.the next day they fix it though.highly recommended for low budget travelers!!!

Walking distamce from Napoli Centrale station or 11 Euro in a taxi. Not well signed though and walking down via Mezzcannone it's easy to walk past it, the sign is really only visible walking UP toward Spaccanapoli. Lift is the smallest I've ever seen, struggled to get me and bag into it. Staff at reception very friendly. Room was small, but clean and comfortable and big enough to sleep in, which is about all you do on holiday. Minutes walk away from all the sights and sounds of Naples' Centr... Read more

Well, the hotel is located in the middle of the historical center, so it will be easy to walk around the places you want. The hotel is the 4th floor of the building. It was a little bit difficult to find it because you need to cross a gate, walk an aisle and open the door of the building. They have a lift there, but it can barely carry one people. I think it is the smallest lift I've ever seen in my life, so we decided to go through the stairs. All the floors between are strange and dirty, but w... Read more

We saw only 2 rooms left and the price was great, so we jumped (8 nights . When we got to this hotel we felt awful. Lift was worlds tiniest, if you have a large suitcase, you might have to send it upstairs and walk up the stairs to meet it. Not suitable for more than 2 people and that is without bags...We are a slender-built couple. Apart from unfriendly staff, the room was about 1 sq m by 1 sq m. The bed was unsteady and not a full double. Quiet room, but this place is chosen by many Italians ... Read more

Quirky and brightly painted, quiet and friendly, we found this a good option for Naples and were pleased with our choice. We stayed 4 nights and the room was smallish but fine and very clean – with a little seating area. I liked the bright yellow furnishings, and bright Pompeii paintings on the wall which really set the mood for all those museum and ruins visits. Its not in a smart area but if you don’t mind that it’s a great choice. It’s a bit tricky to find but we took a taxi from th... Read more
