This hotel needs more thoughtful management: for example the hotel restaurant was not available for guests on two of our four nights' stay due to corporate events. We arrived tired on our first night and wanted a light meal in the hotel, but had to go out. The bathroom was old-fashioned and the shower inadequate. Food at breakfast was not of the first quality. On the plus side the staff were lovely, and the view from the roof terrace spectacular.

A bit far from the centre but it really does not matter. 10-15 mins by taxi to get anywhere and manageable to walk if you fell like exercising . Specially coming back as it is in the hill overlooking Naples bay. Magnificent view !! Stay in a room overlooking the bay. We were in one of the duplex suites. Superb waking up to the island of Capri enfront and rambling Naples underneath. The hotel is fine .. A bit run down but it really does not matter. It goes beautifully with the city. Room comforta... The attendants at the check in area are very helpful and the lobby is beautiful. However, the room is not in accordance to a five star hotel by any standards. I would say it is on the level of a very basic, 1 star hotel. The bathroom in tiny with worn marble, no tub, miniscule shower with rust and hard water spots. I did not want to take a shower- I'll wait until I get home. The walls are marked up, dirty. The curtains seem from 100 years ago. A major and dramatic upgrade must be done to t... Read more

We had 3 nights here after travelling around Spain so wanted to relax. Welcome was nice and a lovely man helped bring our luggage to our room. We had booked a grand room overlooking the bay and it was gorgeous. Large bedroom and 2 room bathroom. The bedroom had a couch (luckily cos one of us needed it to lay our suitcase), 2 chairs, a small TV and a desk as well as a small balcony where you could see the water and Mt Vesuvius. Bed was a Queen Size and comfy. Overall a great room. They had a res... Read more

The reception staff were 1st class and always happy to spend time giving us advice on where to visit and eat . They have a true passion for their wonderful city and this shown through when the... Much to our surprise, while we had booked a basic sea-side room, the hotel staff upgraded us to a sea-side suite as it was our first trip to Naples and the Grand Hotel Parker's. What a beautifully appointed and comfortable suite. The bed/pillows were so comfortable, we slept well our nights at the hotel. But the view was the room's best feature. After our original hotel turned out to be a bit of a disaster, we booked this hotel the day of and boy should we have picked it from the beginning. The room was a bit small but for our situation, it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant upstairs has a magnificent view and the food is amazing but the wait staff was either really friendly or a bit abrupt, depending on the time of your meal. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

I stayed at this hotel in 2016. The terrace on the 6th floor is stunning. The rooms are spacious, the ceilings high. I had a room with a view. Despite the fact that the Corso is quite busy, once the Windows wee closed it was very quite. Now the problem lies with the furniture which is worn out. The expresso machine in the room was not working. There was no desk to seat, work, or simply check your emails which is weird for an "executive room". And worse the mattress was sagging ! The situation of the hotel is very good and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful, particularly Marco. The sixth floor terrace bar offers great views and the restaurant offered good food and service. Our room was spacious and had everything one would expect however there were a few minor issues and it felt as if it needed some freshening up. It would certainly have been 5 star not that long ago but, certainly based on our room, not quite there just now.

The whole place looked really tired, and we realised soon that we couldn't use the basin while taking a shower as it will fill up and overflow. But thank God there was Giuseppe in reception. We had a room at the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor (I read reviews before our trip about the view so contacted the hotel to ask for a high floor). To begin, the restaurant is really good if you want to pay for it and has one of the outstanding decks on the sixth floor that there is. The rooms with views must be really good, ours did not have one. The hotel uses ancient keys and rooms are dated and our mattress was pretty tired. But the staff was friendly. Breakfast was OK but not great. The real drawback is that this hotel is a cab ride from everywhere. ... Read more

We had 2 lovely nights at this old fashioned but beautifully furnished hotel. We had an amazing room with sea views, a downstairs sitting room with desk and chair as well plus a downstairs bathroom and then up a spiral staircase to the large bedroom and en suite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the views from the terrace for pre-dinner drinks could not be beaten - Vesuvius one way and Capri the other!

This is a beautiful hotel with views over the Bay of Naples. This hotel is not in the shopping or business district but it's not far and taxis are reasonably priced. The room was perfect. Staff at reception were ALL friendly, charming and helpful. Two minor criticisms: breakfast staff were a bit disorganised. And my constant criticism of (many, not all) hotels: no face washers! How are you supposed to wash without one! Thanks to everyone at the hotel for three great days.

We booked this hotel on line with little knowledge about it apart from photographs and reviews on various web-sites. There was a warm welcome and we were shown to our room. We had booked an executive room but it surpassed our expectations. You entered a large lounge area with comfortable seats and settee, a coffee machine and a television and then climbed a staircase to the bedroom with a king-sized bed and another television. Upstairs was also a reasonably-sized bathroom and toilet and there... Read more

Ok, this is NOT a five stars hotel. It can't be. The room has quite a lot of space, but that's IT. It ends there. It is dirty, and everything in the room is broken. Chairs, table, and mould is all over the place. The hotel has nothing. No swimming pool, no particular optional recreational space you might exept from a 5 star hotel. They have eighter bought the stars or there something very dodgy about this whole place. I was really disappointed and left after few days.

We checked-in as a group and when I got into my room I found out that the key for electricity was not attached to the door key but a kind cleaning lady I met brought me one immediately. This was not a big deal but I got upset when I noticed that the toilet was used (or not cleaned) before I checked in. It was late and as my only wish was to sleep, I did not ask for another room. In the morning I got more upset when I saw some blood stain on the blanket cover (which fortunately I did not use). I ... Read more

Overall was a pleasant stay and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Yes, the rooms can use an update and the beds could be more comfortable but I find that's what you get when traveling in Italy even in a 5 star hotel as it's much different. I appreciated the views and the kindness that they do have to offer. It made my trip to Italy that much nicer!

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Parker's for two nights on the last leg of our honeymoon so we could fly out of Naples airport. Our travel agent booked this hotel for its very high rating and we regret having stayed in this hotel or Naples at all. First of all... let us just say... it is NOT a 5 star hotel... let alone, even a nice hotel. Yes, it looks historically preserved and has relics of a museum-like quality, but it does not feel as if they do a very good job of upkeep and cleaning. That'... Read more

We stopped at this hotel for 5 nights with a group. Our room was at the front and on the third floor. The view was really good looking over the Bay of Naples with views of Capri, Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. The staff at reception were very friendy and could speak good English. The room was fine but a little bit jaded. Discovered that the hotel was due to be refurbished. Only draw back was the location of the hotel. It was a bit out of the way. You had to either get a taxi or be a good walker ... Read more
