The staff were lovely, accommodating and comfortable, during check in we received warm cookies, I realise this isn't a deal breaker however it was a cute touch especially for a pregnant woman ;) Our room was supplied with bottled water and a welcome cake plenty of amenities. Great for a short stay as it is out of the way. Approximately 17mins from Venice. Woke up to a beautiful view of the country side. Free parking was a bonus. Although the hotel itself is beautiful, what really makes this place stand out is the service. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate you. Exceptional all the way around! Make sure you contact the hotel in advance to take advantage of the shuttle service, it's much cheaper and easier than taking the bus and the train to mogliano Veneto!

This hotel was unusually inconvenient. With the hotel being in the location that it is, guests without a car must rely on a hotel shuttle that charges $12.50 per person for a one-way trip into Venice. You must make reservations in advance (I suppose so they can charge your room and probably determine if they have enough passengers to bother making the trip). Plan on waiting an hour for the next shuttle departure. To me, it would make more sense to have the shuttle make regular rounds every 30 mi... Read more

Needed a hotel overnight in Venice near airport at a reasonable price. It was a reasonable price for the room with breakfast and the rooms are modern, clean and a good size. There is nothing anywhere near it so you have no choice but to eat in hotel if you are without a car. The food is very expensive and limited and for what you pay is not worth it. They offer a shuttle service which is handy as I paid ?50 in a taxi to get there but only ?8 back to airport in shuttle. If your looking for a... Read more

Top notch hotel, great facilities, impressive room , extremely clean. Staff needs to align the greatness of the hotel with the customer service they provide. (Communication, Tone of voice of hostess) Location far from the old city, they have a shuttle but is only for 8 people so you need to book for both ways

This hotel is NOT NEAR to Venice island at all, its actually nearer to the airport. Stayed here for 1 night before making our way to Venice Island the next day (took us around 25mins to get to the terminal). The lifts are actually situated in the middle of the hotel, so if your room is right at the far end, you will need to drag your luggage all the way right to the end of the wing. The room: got to say that the rooms are quite new, guess the hotel is newly built. The bed was quite comfortabl... Read more

Our flight back to the U.S. was canceled and United sent us here to spend the night. From the highway it looked nice, but when we got closer I began to wonder. There's an ancient boarded-up building across from the pool and the crumbling concrete skeleton of what appears to have been a factory next door. Hollywood could have used it as a location for a "Day of the Dead" movie. The check-in process for our group of 20 stranded passengers was interminable, and the desk personnel distinctly unf... Great hotel in nice area, if we didn't stay at this hotel we wouldn't have experienced some of the other area off the "island Venice" area. We were traveling as a family, Mom, Dad, 2 year old & 1 year old. We booked the quadruple family room which made the stay with the little ones most pleasant. Buffet breakfast average Double Tree which is good by other hotel standards.

Accommodation are great a lot of space, the restaurant is great. The hotel offers a poolside menu with drinks and lunch the only problem there is absolutely no service. I sat by the pool for two hours never offered a drink had to find hotel staff to place an order. I finally got a drink but was never asked if I wanted another. It's 90 degrees out id expect better service. Great place but the atmosphere is not so great.

This hotel is very nice, and close to the airport. When I stayed here they had just become a Hilton property, and weren't quite up to the standards I expected. However, they remedied the situation and even left champagne and strawberries in the room for when we got back from exploring the city which was a great way to make things right. They also have an amazing breakfast!

Free wifi is misleading. It's ?10 for 3 devices. Yes in the description they explain prior our check-in, still in my oppinion Tripadvisor shouldn't put free wifi in the description for this hotel. I'm dissapointed with the dinner I've had here. Approximately 26 of my family members didn't finish their dinner since the fish is smelly. Luckily we're only staying one night in this hotel.

We are lucky to have a car so we can explore the little towns nearby (there are some very good restaurants just 5 minutes ride away). Impossible to find anything within walking distance. Let's start this review by saying that this hotel isn't on the Island of Venice - it's located on the mainland, but as such it's easy to reach by road, with loads of free parking on site. The Doubletree is a nice hotel with very friendly people. A short bus ride gets you to either the water bus or the water taxi. We were on a business trip but had the opportunity for one evening in Venice so we did one night at the Doubletree and were very pleased. Breakfast was good, rooms were nice, and again the staff very helpful. Bus stop right outside the hotel for short trip to water.

We ended up at this hotel because my husband had injured his knee and was unable to navigate the water taxis. The staff at this hotel, especially Sara, Sara, and Valentina in reception, couldn't have been more helpful or kind. The suite we had, however, was uncomfortable and cold. The floors are all artificial wood without any carpeting, the bed felt like we were sleeping on the springs without a mattress, and there was only one drawer in the entire suite. The room was very clean but it just did... Read more

I visited Venice on a business trip, and figured why not stay at the Hilton. I am an Honors member get the points. I will never stay there again. The only thing that was welcoming was the bed. Went to happy hour at the bar, only 1 guy was proficient in making mixed drinks. Now that raised a red flag but let me continue. I ate diner there to make it easy after a long day of traveling. Thought I would be pretty safe ordering the Cheeseburger with fries. That was the worst burger I have ever had in... Read more

Checked in at 8pm and found 2 of 3 bathroom lights not working. Too dark to take a shower. Asked for lights to be fixed, told it couldnt be done that night. Then asked for room change; refused. Only after arguing did the Front desk give us another room. No apology and very bad attitude. The 2 staff at front desk were rude and treated us as Pests rather than Guests. Is this how you treat guests? Or is this how you treat Asian guests? If you do not wish to have Asian guests, do not contract with ... Read more

Stayed at the hilton north in venice for 2 nights for a work conference. Really lovely hotel, very modern architectural building which coming from an architectural industry made it a really inspiring place to stay and to attend an architectural conference. Breakfast wasnt a huge choice but was enough and quality of food was very good. The hotel also provided light lunch for the guests of the conference and this was also very good, with variety over the two days. We didnt use the pool but we went... Read more

A very nice and modern high class hotel. Only downside could be location, a bit off in the countryside. A car is more or less necessary. Hotel also has shuttle service to Venice. Rooms are nice and clean and well equipped. Nice bathrooms with toiletries. Hotel has pool, "finnish sauna" and turkish steam bath and a gym/fitness room. Pool area is nice and enjoyable in the summer.

We wanted a nice hotel near Venice airport and we (luckily) chose the Doubletree Venice North. The hotel is located not far from the autostrada but, it isn't near anything else in walking distance. The hotel is stunning. It is a modern marvel with a large lobby and well-kept public areas. There is plenty of parking. The ladies at reception were great - very friendly and helpful. We booked a king room and were upgraded to an incredible King Suite. It was spectacularly modern. Everything was supe... Read more

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is about a 20 minute drive to Venice and the hotel offers a shuttle for $12.50 per person one way. It was a very clean and well kept hotel. The service was great. I really appreciated the fact that the staff spoke English and were very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Venice.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you prefer staying in a quiet location away from the touristy Venice. The shuttle service has to be reserved in advance, so make sure you make arrangements as early as possible.

I normally don't review chain hotels but this one is worth mention. Excellent service, excellent facility, modern rooms, decent workout room, etc. Plus, close drive to VCE airport with a shuttle service that unfortunately costs a few euro. A good bar and good restaurant make for a nice combination. Worth staying at before your flight out in the morning and a welcome respite from sleeping in those stiff beds in the "historical" hotels on the island.

I agree with the rest of the reviews here that doubletree by hilton has a very modern vibe from the reception area to the rooms. For european standard, their room size are quite spacious. However, I am disappointed with the quality of their toiletries. Conditioner bottles can't even squeeze out the conditioner due to its cheap quality bottle. Mattress is bad that you can feel the spring. Bathroom lights are broken, no toothbrush when i checked in and no electric kettle so everything has to be re... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for our weekend trip to Venice. The staff was incredible! They made recommendations on what to see and where to eat, etc. - even provided us with maps and printouts. This hotel is about 20 mins away from the actual city so they have a shuttle that will drop you and pick you up for around 15 Euro per trip. Make sure you use this and stay away from the taxis as they cost around 54 Euro one way!! Breakfast was great here and the property is amazingly clean and accommod... Read more

We arrived late for check-in. However, check-in service was efficient. The room is neat, clean and comfortable but does not have the basic toiletries of tooth brush and paste nor bedroom slippers. Best part is that pillows and bed are comfortable and we were well rested for our drive to Bled next day. A note for late arrival in the dark is that you will miss the turning in junction to the hotel. Dinner and breakfast at hotel.....just enough to fill up.

I chose Doubletree because of the excellent experience I enjoyed in Doubletree Paracas in Peru. Sadly the service missed the mark. Firstly, there was no warm chocolate cookie welcome which was supposed to be the hallmark of Doubletree. Later upon reading a maintenance notice card on the desk in the room, I noticed that it read to bring the card down to reception to request for a cookie which I did. To my utter disappointment the receptionist on duty said they'd run out of cookies! I thought that... Read more
