Arriving and departing by train we wanted somewhere close to the train station to stay, and this proved to be a good choice. Only a 5 minute walk away it was a good hotel. Rooms were nice and the service nice also. The train station also has the metro running through it or alternatively it is around a 20 - 30 minute walk to the historic part of the city. The hotel is currently going through renovations. Our room was renovated and was lovely.

We take the train from Milan Malpensa airport to Milan Central and can then walk to the Hilton. So much cheaper than a taxi! From the hotel we can walk to a lot of the tourist spots. We like walking and usually do 10-12 miles a day. The rooms are very comfortable and they've done a nice update of the hotel. The executive lounge is very nice with an outside seating area. Staff is very friendly and worked very hard at making us fell welcome and valued.

We stayed one night at the Milan Hilton Hotel. We had an early check in at the hotel, and it was the perfect location. We had the convenience of being near the train station and metro and were able to enjoy Milan in the time we were there. For example we were able to get from the hotel to the duomo in 20 minutes. It was nice to have a leisurely day of site seeing and the next day, a short walk to the train station which was perfect. As a Hilton Diamond member we got a very nice roo... Read more

The best thing about this hotel is that it is situated right next to the Milano Centrale train station. So if you're arriving into Milano by train or flight, it is still really easy to reach. I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights back in August 2014 and wasn't disappointed. The Double Room was pretty big and has a lovely balcony accompanying every room. The restaurant might be a little on the expensive side but there are plenty of other eating options in the vicinity. I would suggest any... Read more

Overall, our stay at the Hilton Milan was a pleasant start to our trip. It's proximity to Milano Centrale was excellent (about a block away). The new lobby opened up the day we left and was quite nice. The front desk was very helpful and gave good recommendations for transit for restaurants. Overall, I'd recommend it for the price.

We picked the Hilton Milan due to its proximity to Milano Centrale and the subway, and for the chance to earn significant Hilton Honors points. We were pleased with the choice, as 1.5 block walk to Centrale station was super easy, and the room was large and comfortable. Our only complaints were that the staff was rather cold and unengaging (common at larger business hotels), with the wonderful exception of Nanchi, the front desk manager who checked us in; she gave us a very warm welcome even t... Stayed here for 2 nights. Overall a nice hotel however, customer service needs improvement. Our bathroom had a not so nice smell which I reported. The front desk lady said she would take care of it but I never heard back from her nor did anyone else address the problem! On the plus side; breakfast was great and the location was fantastic.

Nice hotel, with rather small standard rooms. Deluxe rooms are much nicer and some have balconies. Executive lounge is nice with a roof terrace. The area is near the train station so rather drab, but at least it is convenient for public transit.

Location couldn't have been better for airport shuttles and trams and metro to attractions. The most amazing breakfast ever! All the staff were happy and helpful. The hotel itself is quite beautiful complete with newly renovated rooms, lobby and bar. We arrived from Venice and stayed for two nights before moving on to the Italian Riviera. Its proximity to the train station is why we stayed here. However, I did not realize how shady the train station actually is. I should have researched that more fully. Upon check in the clerk at the desk advised us not take the metro back to the station after 10:00 pm as it is not safe. This hotel is not in walking ... Read more

This Hotel is everything you would expect from a Hilton. It is conveniently situated only 5 minutes walk from Milan Central Station and 20 minutes walk from La Scala opera house and the main shopping area. The executive lounge gets extremely busy in the evenings and is only staffed by one person who struggled to keep up with replenishing clean glassware and the canapés on offer; by contrast there were two staff on duty from breakfast which appeared to be a lot quieter and this is the reason I ... Visited Milan recently and stayed here for one night. Moira was on her game even before we arrived and had us all sorted with the room type we wanted. She even came and met us at reception to welcome us. The hotel is well situated in the city and, while it looks a bit 1980s from the outside, once you are through the doors it is a different matter. Nothing is worse then when you arrive with your colleagues and agree to meet in the lobby in 15 minutes for dinner; and it take 12 of those minutes to check in! And to make things worse it was the same delay in checking-out. I do not understand why these higher end hotels create these bottleneck by putting only 2 people on staff at the reception. Convenient location close to the railway station and tube. You can easily visit Lake Como, Bergamo etc. The hotel is very clean and we had a spacious executive room on the second floor. The Concierge service was wonderful and they helped with train times and costings. The executive lounge was very busy but staff were always clearing away plates and glasses. The aperitivo was excellent.

Staff was friendly. hotel is below average. Rooms are good within average. Parking belong to a separate company but has access to elevator and lobby. No special view from room. value of money is ok. Didnt attract me to stay in during my next trip to Milan.

From the moment we were great by Alexandra at the front desk to the moment we left- excellence in service. My wife, I and our 2 boys (6,9) & Father-in-Law, had a great stay! It is just a block from the central station which made getting around great. The hotel staff were wonderful. We were given an upgrade upon arrival and our 2 boys were given very nice color pencils with a case and sharpener and a coloring book. While that may seem a small gesture- it is those things that impress a parent. The... Read more

I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife while on holidays. The hotel is located in a decent spot, about 200 meters from Milan Central station...with easy access to everywhere. I am a Diamond member and had access to the Executive Lounge. The breakfast was ok but not special. Eggs were runny and all the 'hot' food was generally cold. The food at the evening reception was dreadful. Thankfully beer and wine were included which dulled the pain of the food which was also cold. Our room on the ... Read more

We stayed at the Hilton Milan, we unfortunately left an e-book behind us on check out. Within 3 days we received the ebook safe and sound! Also we had a fantastic room, and the dinner we had at the hotel was exceptional. Always happy to return back!

This is an excellent hotel. Picked for its proximity to Centrale station, which is only a 5 minute walk away. I arrived after 2300 and the hotel was quiet so I was checked in very quickly by the excellent staff at the desk. The room was large and very comfortable. Importantly for me, no bright LEDs so I could get the room completely dark at bedtime. The bathroom was good and the whole room was very clean. I had everything I needed. In the morning I needed some help getting an envelope po... Read more

Front desk staff were really good. Bed (comfortable) and room (well appointed. Essentially your standard good Hilton experience. Short walk from the main train station. Cab rank outside the front of the hotel. â?¬20.10 fare from the hotel to Linate airport on a Sunday afternoon.

Stayed here two nights and can confirm that this Hilton is a good one. The hotel did a big major renovation and all the areas are now brand new. We booked a Executive room with Lounge Access (we are now Diamond members but in that time we didn't had the elite membership). The room was huge almost like a Junior Suite with a also big balcony. The room was new renovated. Only the bed was a little hard for me. Prefer more the "Sofitel" or "Marriott" beds but that is just my personal preferrence. We... Read more

When in Milan after all these years I always prefer to stay at the Milan Hilton. It is a very good 4 star Hilton, walking distance from the Central Station and just a stone's throw from the high rise financial business centre. Access to the highways and to Linate are easy. The lobby area was recently nicely refurbished. This is a decent, mid-sized hotel. The lobby bar is nice and relax. Staff has the usual Italian flair and friendliness that make you feel right at home. I often arrive very l... Read more

This hotel is well situated near the main train station. That allowed for quick trips around the City. The hotel was well appointed and the staff were very helpful with questions during my stay. The room was quiet and clean.

A sophisticated hotel without making weary travelers feel out of place. Just a very easy 3 minute walk from Milano Centrale, and nice restaurants within walking distance as well. We walked into our spacious room and they had water, fruit and macaroons awaiting us. Very elegant and comfortable. The breakfast is fit for a king. Food bars abound for every country! We will stay here again. We felt very safe.

From the outside this Hilton doesnâ??t look much, in fact itâ??s quite ugly. However that outside appearance is quite deceptive. Inside the hotel is very spacious, modern and clean. The room was large, well furnished and very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful if at times a little slower with service than we would have liked. I frequently stay in Hilton hotels and found this to be one of the best so far. When you stay at a Hilton you do really get a standard, generic service but at thi... Read more

Location of the hotel is great, together with the amazing service makes the stay an excellent choice! It is within a walking distance from central station in Milan, great for when you come back to the city from the airport. Wide choice of breakfast and very attentive staff throughout the whole stay. Would definitely come back!

Good breakfast for all cultures. I particularly enjoy a nice poached egg in the morning, and these were done to perfection. Great staff, very responsive. Unusually large rooms, which worked well for a couple sharing a king size bed plus a rollaway for an over six foot son. Easy and enjoyable 25 minute walk down to the heart of Milan, right next door to the railway station and metro which my family found extremely convenient.

Good coffee old rooms. Hotel doesn't have parking lot partnership. Parking nearby doesn't accept credit card. Bed rooms seems to be very old stile, not well planned, doesn't have good layout. Breakfast excellent.

This is a great hotel with top notch service and accommodations in a fantastic location in Milan. The executive lounge was a big plus with cocktail hour and breakfast. And the hotel was in a great location for all the downtown activities and the train station.

My family had two rooms reserved and our HHonors Gold status was noted at check in and we were given an extra bed for free due to our Gold status. All of us were also given complimentary breakfast which was very nice. One of our room had a small balcony while the other did not but both of the rooms were similar in size. Both the rooms were of a good size and were well appointed. There was a small box of welcome chocolates in both rooms which was a nice touch. The water pressure in the shower wa... Read more

Hotel's location is perfect. The restaurant staff, front desk especially Aldo, concierge and bell staff were all very friendly and pleasant and respectful. Other than housekeeping and Executive Lounge issues, the hotel is a good location with good rates. It is a 5 minute walk from Milan Centrale station and about 10 minutes by cab to downtown Duomo/Milan Cathedral.

A good place to explore Milano. the centre can be explored by feet and very good connection to the airport. Furthermore, some stylish bars and clubs are nearby. The central nation is in the walking distance and enables to explore the cities across Milano.

Nice hotel which is in a great location close to the central station. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The shower was useless but for a short business trip it was fine. Breakfast was lovely and offered the usual fare. Nice fresh fruit and and egg station. Overall, a good business hotel.
