Lovely, friendly and helpful small hotel with parking on side street in Mestre. Very nice breakfast. Convenient. Limited choice of restaurants within blocks of hotel. Pizzeria Columbus probably the best choice. Recommend hotel and pizzeria.

Extremely good value for money. The location is sort of halfway between the train station and the city centre. So it is convenient and also not far from the tram line. There are many restaurants nearby. Its a safe area and also peaceful and quiet. Our room was large, but the shower surprisingly very small. The beds were comfortable. Although we faced the main street there was not much noise. The décor was nice and not outdated as had been commented on. Breakfast was perfect for us, with a very ... Read more

Good location for viaggio Venetzia. Cheaper than Venice. Staff recommended Ristorante Moro and it was very good and near by the hotel. Breakfast was very basic. Parking place was very safety, gates protected courtyard.

A short walk from the bus and train station and slightly longer one from the city centre the Cris Hotel is a perfect place to stop and explore Venice (no 2 bus- 3 euro return) and other areas by train. Small, but smart ,clean and with an exceptional young lady on reception that will help you in any way you require. Also has it's own smallish car park. A nice breakfast is included as well.

Stayed here for 2nights! The location is ok ,very close to Mestre station, which is good!20minutes from Venice and its much cheaper than there! The staff was very helpful, nice and attentive! We had breakfast which was included in the price -was good too! Our room was little bit small for us,but it is ok for city break! Everything was super clean!! Only negative was that we could here every single talk, noise from outside and from the hotel :( and we didn't have nice big window because we were on t... Read more

Ten minute walk to station. Signs on main street directing you to the hotel. Unassuming entrance, but beautiful inside. Front desk open until 11pm. Good wifi in room. Our room was a little cramped with two people and four pieces of luggage. The desk clerk offered efficient, dignified service; recommended two nice restaurants in walking distance and arranged a taxi to the airport early in the morning. (Taxi to airport cost me 45 euros from here.) There was a covered table just outside our room, i... Read more

We chose this as an alternative to staying in Venice somewhere and having to park in a garage and schlep all our bags over the cobblestones etc. (Turns out you can hire porters who do that for you but didn't know that till we got there.) This hotel had friendly and attentive staff, and a nice breakfast in the morning. It was close to the bus stop which took us into Venice. From the bus stop in Venice (next to the train station) you either walk or take a water taxi. The room in the hotel was a fa... Read more

This hotel is very simple (the furniture, the bathroom), clean and has great hosts. There is a park for children in a 5 min walk from the hotel. The hosts can also help you order pizza in the evening. The breakfast was very nice!

When visiting Venice I often stay in Mestre which is a good choice for a non-crowded evening and night. The hotel is small, with a famili-like atmosphere. Very clean, good bed, nice big bathroom. Friendly staff. The train station is a 5 minutes walk.

If you are visiting Venice & it's surrounding islands for a day or two then this is an excellent place to stay for the trip. The local bus into Venice to catch the water taxi's is just round the corner & runs every 10 mins. They also have a secure on site car park which is a real bonus if you're travelling by car with lots of luggage. The rooms are a bit 'old fashioned' & pokey but they are very clean & the bed comfortable. The staff are also particualrly friendly & helpful which we found a nice... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights during our visit to Venice. It is our second stay at this hotel in the past 3 years. The hotel is located in Mestre across the causeway from Venice proper therefore you get a better quality room for a lower price. Venice is easy to get to by taking the number 2 bus from the bus stop located a block from the hotel. You can buy a 1, 2 or 3 day transit pass at the hotel which works on the buses and the vaporetto (water bus in Venice, a great way to get around). Pros:... Read more
