Good hotel though far from Venice. You have to walk 10-15 minutes upto bus stop and then another 15-20 min which is quite ok. I liked the staff at the reception particularly Mr Alfredo and Ms Daniela. Amazing people, helpful and because of them never had the problem in locating any place in Venice. Breakfast is Ok

We stayed here for 3 nights in total , 2 before our cruise & 1 night after. It was a fair walk with our bags from the Tram stop to the Hotel which was a little difficult to find. Once we checked in we used the public bus system which is cheap & within about a 10 minute walk. The Hotel uses a shuttle bus service which travels in & out of Venice fairly often throughout the day. The Hotel itself is well maintained & comfortable & the bus trip to the Roma bus station in Venice is about 15mins using ... Read more

This hotel was booked for us as a present so we had no say in the matter. Was slightly cautious upon arrival but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and tidy and everyday the bed was made up and clean towels put out. It is about a 10 minute walk to the bus stop and then about a 20 minute ride into Venice and the buses are very frequent and it is 3 euros for a return ticket. Cannot comment on the food as we never ate there. Just up the... Read more

This hotel is close to bus stop to take you to train to Venice. Hotel is very comfortable with good room size. Breakfast was also very good. Many function rooms. Service station next door to buy small snack items. Good wifi but you need to register your details at reception. This can lead to email contacts after your visit. We enjoyed our stay here, although it's a bit far from central Venice.

Agree with the other reviews here, the location is good and the walk to the No 6 bus is straightforward and takes you straight to the Venice terminal. No need to use the hotel shuttle unless you specifically want to. Very good price for a hotel in Venice and the staff were very helpful. The Pizza shop down the road that was mentioned in past reviews (All Calesse) is fantastic. Look it up on TripAdvisor. Expect a bit of a wait, it's worth it, or get takeaway and take it back to the hotel with a ... Read more

Hotel was good.. it took a little time to locate the hotel.. but once found it was very easy to traverse from here to venice.. the main part of Venice is a bit far from this hotel.. but the hotels in main part of Venice are really expensive.. and this hotel is a bit cheaper.. Some staff were helpful.. the other staff was a bit rude and impolite.. however we didn't stay there long so didn't face any big issues as such.. Stay two nights here while on a break during a business trip. Found the hotel to be clean, staff to be friendly and rates to be very reasonable. Breakfast was decent but the 10 min shuttle to the island was GREAT! I recommend this to anyone wanting to see Venice without paying the high hotel prices on the island.

Stayed here for two nights good base for seeing Venice. Rooms are fair size with good amenities, receptions staff were helpful. Restaurant meals overpriced with surcharge if you share a pizza or only eat one course. The included breakfasts and dinner on the second night were good, each tour group are accommodated in separate dining rooms which made it less busy and better service. Be careful in the bathroom I had a bad fall when I slipped down a step from the shower, before I had used it, it mu... Read more

This hotel was fairly decent, with a picturesque location and a convenient shuttle service to the island of Venice. The wi-fi was fast, the food was adequate, and the room service helpful. The front desk staff has apparently been taught to smile and be helpful, because that was in abundant evidence. Overall, a good experience.

Went on a cruise and stayed 2 nights within a week, good location just like 8 min walk from Mercato bus stop, hotel is ok, mostly like any other Holiday Inn, i prefer this brand instead of having unpleasant surprises from other hotels specially in Europe which do not offer the usual amenities from IHG. Clean, prices affordable, free wifi, just remember to bring your own voltage converter, we forgot to do so and the place was full, so there were no available ones, when they are, you leave a 5 eur... The location is excellent because you can be in a quite neighborhood and at the same time go to central Venice and enjoy the tourist attractions .

Stayed at Holiday Inn for one night. The room needed to be updated, and it wasn't clean. The hotel is located far away from every thing. They have a shuttle to Venice, but it is expensive. Take the train or bus instead. The wifi doesn't work at all.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Venice. My adults children and I stayed in a 3 single bed room. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Be prepared to take the bus or a taxi into Venice. It is off the beaten path. The staff spoke English and they were all very helpful.

Thank God we stayed just for a night. The hotel is in shambles, its old with dirty rooms and mould in the bathrooms. Thankfully the beds were fine and the air conditioning worked fine(we were visiting in the middle of a really hot summer). Breakfast was poor. Parking was not free as well. So unless you absolutely must stay here, try other options

We stayed there for one night only, that's why it was not bad for us. We did the worst, we have decided to walk there from the train station. It was evening and surrounding was dark and scary. As I can understand, it was quite far from everything. In reality it was in the middle of nowhere. It was a huge building and it was very difficult to find the entrance. In general the hotel room was not very clean and the breakfast was not good neither. Anyway, if you compare the prices of other hotels, y... Read more

This hotel is located outside of Venice but they provide a bookable shuttle that takes you straight from the hotel to Venice island. No problem getting to Venice and back and was much cheaper than staying on the island. The hotel is nice but I would recommend eating out in Venice rather than at the hotel because the service in the restaurant was slow and more expensive then in central venice.

Located on the mainland to Venice, a good price compared to island. Good bookable shuttle and close by city bus direct to Venice bus and river us station. Rooms a good size, beds comfortable, staff extremely welcoming and friendly, food in restaurant good and well priced. The reason for the average is that the hotel rooms are very standard, not usual Holiday Inn, very tired, bathrooms in urgent need of upgrade though clean, doesn't even have modern shower mixer taps. No pictures on wall etc.

Location is good, beds are comfortable, staff are trained to say the right things with a smile but story ends there. Bathroom was a let down with old furnishings, room size was okay but the air con was roaring through night and was probably from 70s. Internet was down across the evening and night, receptionist had a very casual approach and said he informed their provider and nothing he can do about it. This hotel was included in a package holiday. It was fine. Very clean and quiet we had great nights of sleep. The breakfast was very good but admittedly on the second day there was no bacon, sausage and egg. On both nights we had to go to reception and ask if someone could man the bar. The overall conclusion was that the place was understaffed. The lass on the reception counter when we arrived was really good. I think her name was Elisa and I am sorry if I have got this wrong. Arrived at the hotel and was met with a receptionist that clearly does not enjoy her job, room was okay nothing special, in need of an update. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, waitress was running the restaurant on her own, she was clearly not happy about this which showed, it took us awhile to get her attention to ask for a second round of drinks and then later for the bill, no smiles from any member of staff we encountered!! Won't be returning if in the area again!

Room access didn't work so constantly returning to reception to gain access where we were greeted with more rude service. 1 standard Jack Daniels & Coke was an astonishing ?24.00. Came on cosmos tour was worst hotel of the 16 we stayed at throughout Europe. Would only recommend to AVOID this hotel at all costs. Disappointed to say the least. ???

We stayed here for two nights recently. Overall we were pleased with the hotel. The room was dated but nice and clean. The bed was enormous even though we only booked double room. Was good for the price. You can take the shuttle to venice for 9 euro return per person or walk down the road and get the public bus for 3 euro return which is what we did. Just note that the walk from the train is longer than you would think as there are roads you can't walk on. The one complaint is that the walls we... Read more

I stay in Holiday Inn and other IHG brands all the time and in fact am a Spire Elite member. In short we spend a fortune with this group. When things go wrong I expect them to fall over backwards to put it right at any cost. This hotel is in a good location as a stop over for people passing across northern Italy. Near the shuttle to Venice. Very convenient except finding the entrance from the highway roundabout- seemed to be hidden by a gas station parking lot. Nice clean hotel and reasonable. After spending a few nights in terrible local Italian hotels, it was nice to have the comfort of an American style hotel. The Hotel was a bit hard to find as it is hidden behind a gas station right on a roundabout, but we figured it out. The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was simple and adequate.
