Very close to Marco Polo airport . Transport arrived very quickly after phone call to hotel. Room was clean but sparse and air con was not effective. This caused us to open window and room was noisey due to proximity to airport . Diner choice was limited Check in was quick and staff friendly Used as pre cruise hotel so was close to airport on arrival and short transfer next day to port Expensive really for what it was

Bed was comfortable but bedroom was very dated and very basic - only 5 hangers in the wardrobe and no other storage space such as drawers so we were living out of our suitcases. Bedside cabinets had fixed fake drawer fronts on so we couldn't store anything in there so we made use of the floor space! We got the impression it was more suited to one night stays where you don't have much stuff to unpack! Bathroom looked like it had been renovated and was quite nice! Only one power socket in the... family of 5 stayed here one night before flight back to US. Had to get 2 rooms but they were near each other. traditional hotel in a small neighborhood outside mainstream Venice. We dropped off a rental car near the cruise port and got a cab to hotel (cost 30E). Our rooms were modern and clean. One of the only hotels in the neighborhood. We walked around and ate at a local pizza place and shopped (best prices in Italy since it was a local small town and not touristy). Breakfast buffet was huge... Read more

Me, hubby and our almost 3 year old stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise and 1 night after our cruise. First time they had provided a double room in the 1St floor. The second time we had a double room in 4th floor. Pros 1. Spacious room and bathroom which were clean and comfortable. 2. TV with 2 or 3 cartoon channels among others (though in local language it was enough to keep my son occupied for the short hours we spent in the room) 3. The room was spartan but clean. We chose this hotel because it advertised included shuttle from airport and then to the cruise ship terminal. It was just as advertised. I would only advise that upon arrival at Marco Polo airport, it is necessary to call the hotel for the shuttle pickup. This was difficult and after more that 1/2 hour's search for a pay phone, I finally asked a cruise line representative (with a local cell phone) to call the hotel for me. Happily, he did or I fear I might ST... Read more

$130 for the night, should have gone to the Doubletree. Walked into room and it had a cement floor, like it was a room for pets. Very simple room, small. Walls scuffed up, needed new coat of paint. Everything in room was dated. Just had a bad vibe to the room, wife wondered what had I done.... Bed slept okay, but all thru the night, some jack wad above us decided to move the office chair back and forth over the NON carpeted floor causing a horrendous screeching sound. We took a trip to Venice Italy recently. We stayed at the Hotel Antony. It is only 10 minutes from the airport. They offer a shuttle service for a small fee. It was on time and easy to find. You can taxi or use the public bus system to access the down town area of Venice. It is an experience. Do not forget to validate your ticket. If the bus police catch you its a fine. Seen it happen. Perfect place to stay. Close to bus stop for a 15 -20 minute ride into Venice. You are dropped off at the water taxi station. You can buy pass from front desk that is good for #5 bus and all water taxis-Venice, Murano... We bought the 24 hour pass. Only negative was we had to have maintenance loosen the shower control so we could turn it on.

The only good thing is the location--easy transportation to Venice by bus. The hotel staff, especially at the restaurant, is very unprofessional and rude. The breakfast buffet is very poor. My husband and I stayed here on the last leg of our Italian trip. What a disappointment! Firstly, it is not as close the centre of Venice as we would have liked - not the hotel's fault but I think it's important for any potential guest to know. We arrived at the hotel at 12pm, even though check in wasn't until 2pm the hotel staff said that they could check us in in 30 minutes, we then asked about the ACTV bus and purchased a 3 day travel card which includes all of your bus and water bus travel. The bus stop was a 5 minute walk away and took you straight into Venice in around 15 minutes- when we arrived we saw many people trying to cart their cases over the many busy bridges and trying to find their hotels so we were very happy with whe... The hotel was okay, basic room yet we paid the extra for a premium room. The location was again okay, 10 minute bus ride into central Venice and only 3 euro return on the bus from the hotel. Best thing going for the hotel is the breakfast. Very small bar !

We chose this Hotel for an overnight stay after our Cruise and a next day flight from Marco Polo Venice airport. Great pick up from Venice and transfer to the Hotel. There was no problem when we arrived for an early check in. Nice room, good value, tea/coffee facility in the room. Good breakfast and reliable transfer to the airport. So far, so good. We were given room 611. It sounded like chinese water torture and seems that there is a water tank in the roof that fills while water is being used ... Read more

We spent one night at the Antony hotel after our cruise. The shuttle service is very reliable - we were picked up from Venice city centre within 15 mins of our call, and Marco Polo Airport is just a 5-minute-drive away. Nice and modern rooms, clean, comfortable beds. We were rather unlucky that day, though, as the air-conditioning was broken and it was very cold in the room. We also heard water trickling in our ceiling (top floor) which could be heard throughout half the night. The supposed main... Read more

We stayed one night before our cruise from Venice. The hotel was very conveniently located from the airport and then to Venice and finally the pier. We had a lovely breakfast which was included and drinks at the bar at night. Our room faced Venice, so the view from the room was very beautiful. Overall a very nice experience with a friendly staff and clean rooms.

There was two details that has room for improvement; no heating in the rooms, due to the season. I had a cold, and tried to get som heat from the vent, but no luck. Also, when they clear the tables in the breakfast-area, i is a slop-bucket under the trolley that offends most of the senses. Positively, the staff was friendly, and room-cleaning was excellent.

a good clean hotel with pleasant staff, a good breakfast and limited dinner menu, to be expected as it caters mainly for travellers going onto and returning from cruises, comfy but hard bed and clean room.

My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week!Bad decision! This hotel is simply a transit hotel for various reasons. The room looked good but was unsuitable due to the fact that there was no shelfs or drawers for your clothes and only about 7 hangers. The toilet again looked ok except for the hand basin which looked very modern, but was completely impractical as it is far to small to try and wash your face or have a shave. The hotel is not actually in Mestre, but a small village with not a lot going ... Arrived at 10:45pm, no bar open and my room was as hot as hell (given how mild it was outside I was surprised) Phoned reception, as only they could turned it on, only for it to go off again after 5 minutes because, and I quote " It's on timer as it's not that hot"! Glad they think that as I'm sweating like mad laid on top of the covers

Clean, comfortable, convenient to the airport and bus stop into the city, lobby quite dated but we considered it character. We purchased an all inclusive price for one night including shuttle from the airport and the next day shuttle to the cruise terminal. (150 euro) However watch carefully and bring your paperwork as they did try to charge us for those, I am sure it wasn't purposeful as it can be difficult with so many people booking with a third party

A very good overnight or weekend stay hotel. Pleasant, spacious and clean public areas and rooms. Bathroom layout a little strange but manageable. Good choice at the buffet breakfast but dinner was sufficient but not notable. Please do something about the terrible dry bread rolls! Good value and recommended.

The staff at Antony went out of their way to help me. My luggage was missing and they followed up with the airlines involved to try and locate it prior to my boarding a cruise ship the next day. All staff were very pleasant to deal with esp Anna the manager. I was very impressed with their overall service and went back to stay with them on two separate occasions during my trip. Their breakfast spread and quality was the best I had during my three week Italian trip.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by two seemingly disinterested members of staff and the stay wasn't to improve from this point. The room we stayed in looked nothing like the images on the website and was pretty awful. The bathroom was nice but didn't match the rest of the room at all, and the huge gap left when the sliding door to the toilet was pulled across was not ideal either. The bed felt like it was made of concrete and the decor left a lot to be desired. Breakfast is open unti... Read more

Great location near the airport. Clean modern hotel rooms and bathroom. LOVED the rainfall shower head. Perfect after a long travel. I was a bit worried when we first arrived outside but once we went in the staff was very friendly and helpful. Sat at the lobby bar for a few cocktails and the gentleman working was so nice and friendly.

This hotel is wonderful and very easy for trips to Venice. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the airport. The hotel is also a couple of blocks away from a bus stop where you can get on a direct line into the main part of Venice. Book directly on the hotel website to save money, get upgrades, and a free welcome drink!

Just got back today from 4 nights at this hotel. Would recommend the hotel, in a nice quiet residential area of mestre. Staff were friendly, rooms modern, especially bathroom and very clean. Any complaints we read before hand of cold rooms were laughable as we were too hot and slept with air on on. Also there is a wardrobe with a few hangers and shelfs too, contrary to reviews we read beforehand. Breakfast great too especially the cakes! First the positive. Hotel Antony is handy for the airport and the local bus into Venice. The first week we had a room on the Antony's 6th floor for two nights and I'm sure it would have a had a great view over the water to Venice but the cloud was low and so we never saw the view yet. The room itself had an unusual layout, and both it and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed was reasonably comfy. There was a coffee making machine and a kettle but only one coffee pod, one tea bag and on... Read more

I have been twice in this hotel. It is conveniently located between the airport and Venice. Rooms are clean and modern. Although the bathroom sliding doors are not my style but anything else is great. Staff is very helpful to international tourists providing tips for restaurants and use of public transportation.

We are regular Customers of this Hotel when in Venice . Near the Airport Marco Polo. This time we noted the new web site and we got special prepaid prices ! Very interesting The B/F was included; However they charge 6E for Room service. i.e. the cost of continental B/F for two. We enjoed the Pizza and drink special at 10 E in the Restaurant very good value for money as well. Obliging waiters and waitresses made the Pizza experience tastier and quicker. The hotel was neat and clean. It is very easy to get to from the Marco Polo airport. The free breakfast was awesome, but can't recommend the dinner there. Very little variety and the service was slow. The hotel had no adapters so bring your own. We walked a block from the hotel to a hardware store and purchased on for 6 euros. The hotel free WiFi was a great feature. You can get a free ride from the airport, but 5 euros to get you back. I would stay there again. Enjoy Italy

Great location for the airport and Venice. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, good restaurant and bar. We used the local bus for Venice (no 5) and Mestre (no 9). We used the tourist travel card which you can purchase at the hotel (universal price) you can also use the pass for all water transport in and around Venice.

The gentleman in the restaurant who wore the suit (supervisor or manager) was very friendly and had great customer service. Perfect distance between airport and the City of Venice. It takes only 15 Minuten by Bus from the Hotel to Pizzale Roma (1,50‚?¨). The rooms are new and modern. I didn't gave the 5th point, because the touch screen of the airconditioning control panel is dimmed during nighttime but is continous illuminated and is disturbing. The breakfast is o.k. (Italian) . Coffee from a maschine ( Not the good italien coffee). Personal is very friendly.

We stayed at the hotel pre and post cruise. The reason we booked here was because they provided transportation to and from the airport and cruise terminal. They also offered a very nice breakfast buffet. The hotel is on the outskirts of Venice, so you need to take a cab or public transportation to get to the main city, but the bus stop is very close by. Stayed for one night on 3rd December 2016. The external facade and lobby gives a false impression of grandeur of a 4-star hotel. The room which I stayed was only so, so....there were no proper cups nor kettle for boiling hot water. The only cups given were in the toilet. THese are flimsy plastic cups that cannot hold water properly. Very cheapskate! The breakfast was extremely pathetic - no fruits, and only one hot dish - oily scrambled eggs. No cutlery were set for the reserved tables - we h... Read more
