We stayed here for four nights in April. The Hotel is spotlessly clean & very conveniently situated 5 minutes walk to the tram stop . It's just 15 minutes on the tram into Venice. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The best feature of this Hotel was the welcome and the helpful information offered....especially by the lovely Frederica who suggested some lovely sightseeing routes . I would recommend this Hotel as comfortable convenient and very good value for a visit t... Read more

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions within the past month with 2 different groups of people. Both times, we had a wonderful experience. We had parking for our car at a very reasonable price, and plenty of breakfast every morning to get us started. The hotel staff, both times, was VERY friendly and helpful in letting us know what was available to eat around us, as well as specific instructions how to easily get into Venice. The tram is about a 5 minute walk away. I would suggest getting th... Read more

We stayed in this Hotel for three nights while we were visiting Venice. There is a tram stop that you can reach in less than 5 minutes (300m) and where you can take a tram that will take you to Venice in about 10 minutes. The staff were very very very friendly, kind and helpful, and spoke our native language (portuguese). The breakfast was really nice, considering this is a little hotel, runned by a family (and we enjoyed it). The room was really clean and the towels were changed every day. Desp... Read more

This hotel is very convenient for Venice and much cheaper. The tram is only 100 metres away, takes only 15 minutes to the centre of Venice and costs 1,5 euros. The hotel is spotless and the staff cheerful and very helpful

This is a great little hotel, ideally placed for visiting Venice (and escaping from La Serenissima for some peace and quiet at night). We used the tram (it takes about 10 - 15 minutes to reach Piazzale Roma) which stops just around the corner from the hotel and costs only 1.5 Euros per trip. There are some perfectly reasonable places to eat and drink near the hotel. The management of the hotel were kind enough to reserve a table for us at the Trattoria alla Laguna as we were due to arrive at abo... Read more

This is a family owned and operated hotel with a friendly staff and exceptional breakfast bar. It is located in Venice - Mestre (on the mainland). Very quiet. The tram and bus stop is just around the corner and will take you to Venice in 10 min. We had one of these early morning arrivals as do most of the flights crossing the ocean. We arrived in the hotel around 9 am and they stored our luggage and gave us all the instructions we needed for the next couple of hours. Where was the tram stop, how... Read more

This hotel in Mestre is close enough to Venice. You get by tram to Piazzale Roma, an important Venice car terminal (5 tram stations from the hotel), and then take the vaporetto to any station of Venice. Very easy, very comfortable. The hotel is nice, but the room was a bit too small, clean but small. People are very respectful and nice, the food was good. It is safe and good to sleep there and to travel to Venice all day long and then come back and have a pillow to put your head on. As long as a... Read more

A family owned and operated hotel they also own Hotel Guidi, on the corner. The owner has his own Farrari and he is very pleasant and full of information about venice. The hotel has friendly staff and serves a continental bufet breakfast, everything was freshly baked in the morning, plenty of breads, croissants, cakes, meat and cheeses, yogurts, cereals, fruits and juices.Rooms are cleaned daily. The hotel is located in Mestre, in a quiet area (on the mainland) and is a short ride of just 10 min... Read more

We booked this hotel knowing it was right outside Venice. It was only a 5 minute walk to the tram/bus stop too, which was super convenient. The hotel staff was amazing. We drove all night with our toddler to get there, and they let us check in a little early so we could take a nap after our long drive. They also speak excellent English, along with many other languages! Parking is only ?6 a day, which is so reasonable. The rooms are small, and the shower was unique (had an awkward slope Read more

Great hotel, people there were very helpful and nice to us the moment we arrived.????? I would definitely recommend this to others. It is within walking distance of the train station and a quick can ride to the airport if need be. Don't let the area fool you???

Stayed there for two nights in July. Frederica and her dad were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Five minute walk to tram that brought us directly into Venice. Room was clean and breakfast was fresh. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Near the bus and tram stop so it only takes 15 minutes to get to Venice. Just to say a bad point the rooms and bathrooms need an updated. Breakfast good. It is a good option to book in Mestre.

It's a family owned small business run with extreme courtesy and professionalism. Location is strategic. 10 minutes tram to Venice in a quite neighborhood close to parks and central Mestre (if sometimes you wanna relax at night far from Venice's croud). Good value for money. Strongly recommended.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 3 nights mainly because we got a great deal and for its location . A short tram ride (6 stops) to Piazzale Roma main entrance to the city of Venice. Staffs at this hotel were friendly and they had really good breakfast. Only downside was that the room was on a smaller side , and you could here people walking and talking from the corridor . It is a good option to consider.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Delle Rose for 7 nights. Its located in a residential area with a few shops, bars nearby. We chose this Hotel because of its close proximity to Venice. Its about 15-20 mins from Venice by tram. The tram stop is at the end of the street. (5-10 mins walk). The shining points from our stay were the exceptional friendliness of the staff (its family run) and the very satisfying breakfast provided. For a 2 star hotel it was in our opinion outstanding. The staff work very h... Read more

We stayed at Hotel Delle Rose when we first arrived in Italy to visit Venice. The location was fantastic and easy to spot from the bus in from the airport. The staff were amazing and provided so much information and let us check in early and freshen up after a 32hr flight. The tram to Venice is so easy to use. Definitely get the ACTV venice card for transport as you get the bus from the airport then can use the tram and boats down the main canal in Venice. The free breakfast at the hotel was rea... Affordable accomodation is had to come by in Venice. The more central, the more expensive. Friends use Airbnb and swear it's the only way to go, but if your into hotels, which I am, I recommend the Della Rose. This 2*offers a continental breakfast for the same price as some Airbnb's. It clean, family run and I found the team very approachable and extremely helpful. For Venice it's a bargain and only 10minutes on the tram, costing ?1.50 from Piazza Roma.

Rooms are a nice size but a little tight with the funiture they have in them. A really nice breakfast with a helpfull staff. They need to look at the pillows they use (a little flat). As I noted in the "tips" and the title the hotel is just off the Tram stop that takes you on to the Island within 15 min. The town (Mestre) itself is really nice, away from the crowds and it has a pedestrian only walk with restaurants that are a little better priced than on the Island
