Back here again for the new year, our second holiday at the Dui Golfi this year. New Year is definitely a different time to come, most of the customers at the hotel and in town are Italian with very few British tourists. The experience, particularly looking out over the town and towards Naples at midnight on New Year's Eve is fantastic and something we would recommend to anyone. The hotel only opens for five days over the New Year and the weather can be quite cold but there is plenty to do an... Read more

we found this hotel purely by accident when looking for hotels in Sorrento - what an absolute find !! We were celebrating my wife's birthday and holidaying with friends we hadn't seen for years. What a special holiday we managed to have - the hotel staff and the local people were so friendly right from the minute we arrived. Opening our balcony door to the view over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples the next morning was possibly one of the best surprises ever and don't even get me started about the... Read more

Apologies for the lateness of this review. As a number of people have already written we hesitate to offer this opinion as the Due Golfi is a jewel of an Hotel and we want to keep it to ourselves. Everyone connected with this place are so 'proud of belonging' and so they should be as they are absolutely brilliant at their jobs. The hotel is in a great situation, food excellent, rooms spotless, as is body of hotel, and we found it be the perfect place to relax. In short we doubt if it can get b... Read more

We searched many hotels around Sorrento and decided to book the hotel due golfi as it was relatively small and had good reviews. We stayed here for 7 days. The flight getting there was about over an hour late which meant by the time we got to the hotel the restaurant was closed. Takes about an hour to get there and we went to our room which was the top floor and they the staff had left plates of hams, bread sticks tomatoes and wine which was a nice touch. The room I would say is basic but when y... Read more

This is a great hotel which should really be 5 star. It is in a great location, just 20 minutes by shuttle bus to Sorento. There is a real mixture of ages among the staff and the guests, which really adds to the holiday experience. All of the staff from the girls on reception, to the cleaners, to the guys and girls in the restaurant are really helpful and no question is too difficult for them to answer, from timetables of buses to Sorrento, Amalfi coast or advice as to where to visit in Sant A... I am not sure I wanted to share this review as I want the hotel all to myself however I have to say as someone who has been in the travel industry a long time I have never had service this good and food to match. Every member of staff gives 100% and all take an interest in your happiness. The food is great and I even asked if the pastry chef was single, his food is that good. The dining staff are the best I have encountered and I have been to many 5 star establishments. The head waiter/maitre d ... Read more

I have to admit in all my years travelling I think the customer service we got from Amelia and Ornella was the best we have ever had. They were so helpful and made our holiday so much easier. You are a credit to the company and thanks. Hotel is about 20mins on shuttle bus from Sorrento but we tended to eat in Sant Agata as the food was much nicer and better priced. The walk into the wee village was a bit unsafe as no footpath at the start but you just have to be careful. There is also a pub... Read more

This was our second holiday at this hotel and we were apprehensive in case it wasn't as good as we remembered. We needn't have worried it was as good if not better than on our original visit. The staff were very attentive, the food wonderful and the views to die for. If we go back to Sorrento we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

This has to be one of the best hotels we have been to....it measures alongside the Royal Livingstone by Victoria Falls on the Zambezi river and that is saying something! The staff are first class, they care so much about you as a person, they want everyone to have a first class experience. Before we set off on our journey they contacted us to ensure our transport was at the airport to meet & greet us. When we arrived, they were more concerned that we were fed and relaxed before full booking... Read more

This hotel was a great find! The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable and extremely clean and well-cared for. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including great wifi. The views from the hotel were spectacular and a great way to start the day. The food at breakfast was hearty, plentiful, fresh and varied. The hotel was able to accommodate a gluten sensitivity without any problems. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with our questions about the area, things to d... Read more
