my wife and I were staying at the hotel for 5 nights in April 2016. Hospitality was perfect. Hotel in a great location in the hills above Sorrento, with quick and easy access to all the attractions and sites in the area. The level of cleanliness and maintenance at the hotel extremely high. Hotel shining cleanliness. Breakfast is excellent and has everything you need including freshly squeezed orange juice. But the most important thing to note is the excellent and perfect service that we receive... Read more

Good hotel. Beautiful views. Very clean with good facilities. Two swimming pools and two excellent restaurants nearby (within walking distance) you shouldn't miss. You have never met a more friendly & helpfull staff!! These ladies were amazing! They went above and beyond to help us plan our time there, even after checking out.

I have recently returned from a week's break at the Grand Hotel Due Golfi. The location of this hotel provides the most panoramic of views and guests can look down on the last installation stages of a new stunning infinity pool. The selection of food at the breakfast buffet and evening meal surpassed expectations served by smart, attentive and courteous staff. Hotel receptionists were helpful in everyway offering local knowledge and also booking our tours with a door to door service. A regular ... Read more

We stayed for 10 days in May. We had a sea facing room on the third floor. Sea facing rooms enjoy the same view as the lounge and restaurant and also look down on the new pool. While we were there the sun did not get on to our balcony until the afternoon. When it is hotter, in the summer, this may be an advantage. The staff at this hotel cannot be faulted. They are very friendly and very helpful, particularly on Reception. There is a courtesy bus, like most hotels that are not actually in Sorren... Read more

The hotel is spotlessly clean and well appointed. Staff respond to personal requests timely & efficiently and go out of their way to accommodate your every need. The food selection was great, wonderful selection of fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, continental breakfast, hot breakfast items & pastries daily. In the evening the restaurant service was lovely, great choice of menu items, well cooked and presented. Excellent fresh seafood - especially enjoyed seafood salad, salted cod & swordfish, ... Traveled with Thomson, emailed ahead to upgrade to a sea view, cost 10 euros per day, well worth it, you wake up to the most wonderful view with new cruise ships that have arrived overnight. The hotel has an excellent decor and spotless. The view from the bar and restaurant is the new infinity pool and gardens and Mount Vesuvius wow! The new pool was due to be opened in a couple of weeks. The staff, well, never met a whole team of staff who are so polite and helpful. Breakfast is lovely, so much ... Read more

We stayed for 2 weeks in May 2016. The reception staff are incredible and will go out of their way to answer any questions regarding local bus, boat connections, and local walking trails. They seemed genuinely interested on trips we had taken and were keen to ensure that our stay was the best possible. The selection of food at breakfast and evening meal was super and the service excellent. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff are very polite. The new infinity pool was coming i... We stayed here for one week at the end of May, on a half board basis. The hotel is spotless and the grounds well cared for. The staff are unfailingly polite, helpful and professional at every level, they go out of their way to respond positively to requests. The bar, restaurant and new infinity pool overlook the Bay of Naples, a stunning view by anybody's standards. The new amenities to the rear of the hotel are a fabulous addition as a bar and canopied seating area complement the infinity pool.... Read more

S Agata it self is a lovely village worth a look around. I must admit my wife and I found the old sun beds much more comfortable than the new one's, they changed over while we where there,

Just spent a week at this hotel which we were changed to the day before we were due to travel. When we arrived we are given aroom at the front of the hotel, which was very nice but if you stay at a hotel with a view like the du golfi has then a room that has a view is a must. When we said we would have booked a room with a view if we had know about the change in hotels sooner and checked reviews, the hotel staff not only found another room but did not charge us either. We stayed a week in June. A lovely hotel with great facilities and a good location up on the hills looking down to sorrento (worth having a sea view even if partial). A free shuttle bus goes from the hotel to the town just make sure you're there 5 mins before or it will go without you! Could do with a few more buses on the schedule as there's a big gap in the day with no bus but in high season they might be more frequent. A taxi up is expensive at 45 euros but there is a public bus. No hotel bus... Read more

This hotel is quite possibly the best I have stayed in. The hotel does not boast a spa or gym facilities nor is there an evening programme of entertainment. It simply does not need any of these. Its location, above the city of Sorrento, provides commanding views of the whole of the bay of Naples, including Mount Vesuvius, which is enough for anyone. The staff are all friendly. The reception desk is always manned, there is no waiting for an absent receptionist to appear as I have experienced in... Read more

Our room in the hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean and had a balcony with an amazing sea view across the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It was what you expect from a 4* hotel, with the exception that everything from hairdryer to air conditioning worked properly. The hotel also had a lovely infinity pool, again with amazing views. However, what really raised this hotel above others is its fantastic, hard working and helpful staff and also its excellent food. Both my husband and I are both v... Read more

We payed a little extra for a sea view room and it was worth every penny! The views are stunning!! Stunning views from the incredible infinity pool too. I would particularly mention the so friendly and efficient customer service, particularly from the people on reception. We stayed at the Due Golfi for a week in June and would recommend it to anyone. Friendly and helpful staff, good accommodation, and a lovely dining room are all plus points. There is also an excellent new pool area with a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. We've been visiting this hotel pretty regularly over about 12 years. It has been excellent every time. The hotel is neat and tidy, the grounds kept beautifully, and is a great place to spend time relaxing. We stayed last year and came back as we were so impressed with the staff, food and location. What we really liked is the fact that you can totally chill or take the 20 minute shuttle to Sorrento which is really busy this time of year but a great place to explore or shop. The local town of Santa Agatha is a nice place to visit but be careful of walking as there is no pavement for the first 500 yards. The hotel is conveniently located, away from the busy streets of Sorrento and up on the tranquil hills with a great view of the bay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool area is fresh and well functioning. The transportation to and from Sorrento is smooth with the hotels own shuttle bus.
