Clean and new-ish, with a few (avoidable) faults (why there shouldn't be a wc-brush in the toilet?). Just off the highway, though not too far from the city walls, it seems to be handier for a motel use. As expected, a bit noisy because of the nearby highway

Nice service but some dont speak english. The rooms are spacious and modern. Cleanliness is not very good, i came in and found a stain in my pillow case which made me doubt if they change the sheets. Other than that, the breakfast is continental, not too much but you get the basics, it looks like a good hotel for business travelers because it has spaces for work and reunions. The location is not bad, but very hard to take walks because its located next to a high speed road.

There's just one bad thing about this hotel: we were staying for just one night. If we had known, we could have stayed one more, because it was simply wonderful! Starting with the staff, the reception desk people were always welcoming us with a smile and helping in everything we needed. One of the girls even talked in Spanish, so she always helped us with everything we needed. They saved our luggage when we arrived and for the day when we left the room. Also, they gave us a map and explained eve... Read more

My husband I and stayed here in May. We had room near the local McDonalds which was very noisy at night time. The sun heated up our west facing room in he afternoon. We decided to turn on the air-conditioning, but couldn't seem to get it to work. We both had a terrible night sleep in a hot and stuffy room- no air con and we couldn't sleep with the window open due to noise and mosquitos. I asked reception about our air con the following morning and they said that there was no heating/cooling in t... Read more

I was in Lucca at April-2016 with my group. The hotel is situated in quiet area and you easily move with the bike from Hotel. The rooms are very clean and bed are comfortable. The restaurant and bar at the hotel is small but provides delicious meals. All of the front office staffs, waitress and chef are very helpful, provide best services to their guests. When I was there, I met with front office staff named "Monica". She is very helpful and excellent. Thanks again Monica. I would like to recomm... Read more

We were driving from Monte Carlo and were going to make a quick visit to Florence on our way to FCO. Lucca was a good location. The Eurostars Toscana was easy to find but still close to the walled city. The room was very nice. Not large but well appointed. Bathrobes, champagne, and chocolates were waiting for us. The bathroom was a good size. Breakfast had a wide selection of food and beverages. They also have some bikes you can use for free on a first come/first serve basis.

We choose this hotel because it was very conveniently located if you come to Lucca by car. It offers free parking so you can leave your car safely at their parking lot and walk to the Old town. It took about 15 mins of walking to get there (although the first 2 mins of walking are not very pleasant because there is no sidewalk there, but after that it's fine). The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable. The only problem was that the s... Read more

I've been to more interesting four stars hotel than this one. It is in an area conviniently located in order to access the entrance of the city and the old city (15' walking distance), but there is nothing to do around the hotel, and nothing to see out of the window. The room was a little bit narrow, but the bed size excellent. The toilet was nice but without having efficient locations for the towels. The shower was narrow and very simple. The breakfast was average too.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was great! It was easy to find. Parking available right outside. Very helpful and friendly staff. We borrowed their bikes and had a lovely afternoon ride on the city wall. A must do! The hotel is just about 1 km outside the old city and it is just a nice stroll. A nice continental breakfast with good coffee were available too.

booked the hotel as looking for modern fresh rooms and that is just what we got. So pleased with the quality of rooms and beds were comfy. Staff were great too. The only reason not giving this hotel 4 star review is because the location was really run down with a scruffy garage next to it and the fact the hot breakfast wasn't that great. It is a 15 minute walk into the centre of Lucca or you can hire one of the bikes for free from the hotel. So glad I did book this hotel compared to some ot... Read more

The Eurostars Toscana describes itself as a luxury 4* hotel. It is not. My heart sank when we arrived to find it was opposite an abandoned and burnt down industrial unit. The staff we very unfriendly and failed to tell us about any of the 'luxury' services. We were not informed that bikes could be hired free of charge so we had to walk along side a main road to get to Lucca. The breakfast is very poor. Only things that are palatable are the meats and melon. In my opinion all of the cakes ar... Read more

Stayed 1 night only. Family room was good size and beds comfortable and clean. Staff friendly especially the reception lady who kindly called our next hotel to find out if all was well I view of the Earthquake that took place during the night near the area we were due to go the next day. Used room service food good and bar girls helpful too. Breakfast was ok continental. Hotel central to town and town very nice plenty to see and places to eat. After visiting Cinque Terre during the day we arrived at this hotel in the evening and was welcomed by a very friendly staff. The hotel is located right outside Lucca, and the city center within the walls is reachable by a 10 minute walk, or a 2 minute drive. We walked back and forth every time and it was not far at all. The hotel offer free parking right outside the hotel, where we could have the car parked while we visited Lucca the next day, even though we had checked out from the hotel, w... Read more

We visited the Eurostars hotel during a visit to Lucca for a wedding. It's fairly well situated to walk to and from the old town (around 20 minutes) or the station (around 15). The hotel is not located on a nice street, it's opposite a car park and next to a burned out garage building which takes away any idea that this is a luxury hotel. The interior is neatly decorated and gives you the same familiar comfort as a stay in a Travel Lodge or Ibis hotel. When we arrived, we were given a piece o... Read more

The Eurostars Toscana Hotel picked up the phone fairly late in the evening, after I had already tried several others in the area. It is located close to the Autostrada, in case you need easy access. Lucca itself is a very nice place to visit, and the leaning tower of Pisa is only 20min away. The hotel-webside had made a good impression, and the actual hotel was Exactly as expected: Clean, Efficient and friendly staff whow spoke good english as well. They offerend a safe motorcycle parking, in vi... We had a modern room that was comfortable and quiet. Having a rental car, we also appreciated the availability of parking. It was a 15 minute walk to the city center, which we didn't mind. The only drawback was the area surrounding the hotel was very industrial and run down, which was unfortunate as the interior of the hotel was very nice.
