Comfortable beds, room with tv- some basic channels- a small fridge, carpet on floor, NO balcony!(???). Wi fi is available with extra charge. Spacious rooms, really large reception and lounge, but lots of empty parts with lack of decoration. Hotel staff is kind and helpful in any case. Breakfast is really good with big variety of food. Parking is a bit of adventure with a very busy road at front. A good location, with easy access to town center. Hotel reception is helpful only if you talk Italia... Read more

I came in this hotel more than 1 year ago, my review is almost the same, unfortunately I tend to say. The reason why I gave e 3 and not a 2 is the price, in my case quite convenient. review from one year ago [The hotel is located close to downtown, 300 hundred meters walking. The hall is large and cozy, the style is strongly influenced by the time of fabrication, which should be some 30 years ago or so. This vintage flavor unfortunately turns in a quite "old" aspect when entering in the room, m... Read more

A very old fashioned hotel. Almost no outlets in the room. The tv is very old and works very poorly and the wifi system is always failing. The rooms are clean. The heater was always on and it was too hot! VERY LOUD GUESTS!! I would not recommend it if you are on a working trip!

This hotel is slightly out of main old city centre, but this is easily reached in about ten mins. The rooms were large, but no views worth talking about. The food was pretty good, and the bar areas very pleasant. Staff v helpful

The hotel is very well taken care of and the team running it seem very dedicated to their work but, it looks its age.Never managed to open the tv. Rooms are dark and are kept dark with shutters we did not manage to open .

Don't stay here. The lobby entrance was large and welcoming but the rooms were horrible. These rooms haven't been touched in at least 20 years. Water stains on the walls, floor and lamp shade. They had an old 1980 tube TV in my room. The shower holder handle was broken so i had to hold the shower always with one hand. You could tell that it was broken for years. The taps were so old all of the finished was removed. Sorry I don't have anything nice to about this one.

I love Italy and my hosts were the most amazing, so it is really hard to write negative about the hotel where they made me stay, but this was something else... somebody here said it is a "dump" and that is a good description. it is incredibly outdated and not clean. Stains all over the carpet, the towels are old and disguising, and I can go on and on. I loved Lecce and I will definitely come back, but it will never be to the Hotel President.

Stayed five nights on a GRJ holiday. The hotel is a modern building about ten minutes walk from the centre of this lovely old city. Spacious attractive reception and bar area. Our room on the 6th floor was large and reasonably well furnished - lots of storage and with a nice settee by the window. The window had good shutters at night - no aircon. The bed was king size and comfortable. The bathroom was very large and clearly newly renovated and very nicely decorated - interesting with lots o... Read more
