hotel was excellent and very friendly, the room was lovely with a sea view, the bed was amazing with plenty of pillows. The pool area was very clean and well cared for as was the beach area. Breakfast was very good offering everthing from cooked to continental patisseries or fruit. We never actually used the dining room in the evening but there are plenty of restuarants opposite the hotel. The bus station is a few minutes walk from the hotel and the see by buses offer an excellent service. ... Read more

I stayed at the Hilton Giardini Naxos for 5 nights in an upgraded suite. I was traveling during an injury recovery and this was actually the best place to stay at. As soon as you walk in, there is a feel of Old European World with the decor and furniture. Antonella at the reception was really helpful and wanted to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. I am not so sure about the rest of the reception staff, which sometimes was odd to converse with. I requested a bathtub mat since it was ... Read more

We stayed here for 5 nights, the rooms are large and the beds comfortable. I am a little sensitive to strong cleaning products, I'm not sure what it was but the first night was terrible, the smell was so strong, I had to sleep with the door open. However a mention to reception the next morning meant they didn't use it again. I will email in advance next time. A large hotel with a front onto a large and attractive sandy beach. Good, quiet room with comfortable beds, the bathroom was fine but not large, with a shower over the bath. There was a small balcony but it overlooked a miserable car park. If this is important to you, ask for a room overlooking the beach. The breakfast room is large with a good but not overwhelming choice of food.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. We had quite a disappointing stay. We chose this hotel based on its beach location and spa/pool and it disappointed on both fronts. Also, for the price we paid we were really expecting better. The hotel is located on the beach and we paid extra for a room on a higher floor with a sea view, however we were not able to enjoy it as there were very loud construction vehicles working on the beach in front of our room throughout our entire stay. The hotel was spotless, and if a concern arose during the response was quick and problems remedy. The king size bed was very comfortable and the rooms maintained. Be careful in shower they need rubber mats to prevent slipping... I left my flip flops on and got good traction. All and all it was the right place for us to stay. The rooms very large and quiet.

This is a lovely Hilton Hotel right on the beach and with an excellent pool. There are plentiful sunbeds both on the beach and round the pool, but whilst the pool beds are free, there is a charge for using the sunbeds on the beach. Beach towels are available from a kiosk on the beach. The rooms with a sea view are very spacious with an excellent king size comfortable bed in the one we were in, and very clean. I probably stay in the region of 75 - 100 different hotels all over the world every year and I have to say that this is one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in. Arrived at about 11pm and tried to get something to eat. The hotel said 24 hour room service but they couldn't even get a sandwich together. The sink was blocked, the water was cold. The internet wasn't working and they tried to charge me for it. They charge you ?20 to use their beach and indoor pool (per person) ?2 per towel. ... Read more

We stayed for 7 nights at the Hilton, booking 2 rooms next to each other. The hotel is large, with decent facilities and helpful staff. It probably caters for large groups mainly and at the time we were was rather quiet until the weekend. We had booked to include breakfast which was a decent buffet. We didn't eat lunch or dinner in the hotel because we preferred to go out to the many restaurants in Giardini Naxos. Pool area was nice, well maintained as was the beach. As a Hilton Honors member I expected much better from this place. Further, this property suffers in comparison to the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel in Venice where I stayed just days before - that property was outstanding. But back to Hilton Giardini Naxos - I will echo the complaints of the other reviews regarding the extra charges that you are hit with immediately upon check-in. We were very disappointed with our May 2016 stay. The hotel does not maintain the standards of service expected of an international Hilton Hotel. The owner appears to treat it as his own personal domain run for his own convenience rather than that of guests. One evening a group hosted by the owner dined in the restaurant, as frequently happens, and he had a giant screen erected on one wall in order to watch a football match. This while hotel guests were having a quiet dinner in couples or groups... Read more

Having stayed in Taormina the previous year, we decided to stay along the coast as a point of difference. Hotel is lovely, perhaps a little outdated, however very comfortable nevertheless. Lovely spacious pool with wonderful views of the sea. Beware though as deck chairs are limited in peak season considering the amount of guests it caters for.. Breakfast a little on the average side and wi-fi very slow!!! Overall a lovely seaside hotel with easy bus access to Taormina.

hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly but you get hit by junk fees as soon as you walk in. The indoor pool, well, it's part of the spa, 30 euros to et in. The private beach, 19 euros for 2 seats. Then the best that I have never seen so far: the pool towels, 2 euros per towel each time you need to change it. I have a feeling that this hotel only has four stars due to the number of amenities it boasts. Do not be taken in... Almost everything is a chargeable extra. A particularly nice surprise: a ?20 per person fee to use the indoor pool! Ridiculous! Very old fashioned in style, we almost thought we had gone back in time twenty or thirty years. This hotel is all that you would require for a quality relaxing stay, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient at all times. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean. Our sea view room had a large balcony . Air conditioning was silent and effective. The position of the hotel enabled us to visit local market, walk easily to local beaches, had good bus links to both local buses and external tours. This hotel could not have been a more pleasant experience. We were pampered every step of the way with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, delicious breakfast, and great coffee and snacks from the bar. This summer we went on Vacation to Sicily for the first time. We stayed at the beautiful Hilton Giardini Naxos just outside Taormina and close to Etna. We chose this hotel because we wanted the accessibility of a beach and a hotel that was not in the hills. As you can expect from any Hilton hotel, the property was large, with plenty of amenities like a large swimming pool, a gym and a good restaurant. The staff were very friendly and took their time to help us with any information we required. O... Read more

This was our third visit at this very nice Hilton hotel on the beach. It is located ca. 30 min from Catania airport, ca. 20 min to Taormina (you must visit!) and ca. 1 hour to Syracuse, a great, historical place to visit. The hotel has a great beach (but towel and sun chairs with umbrella will be charged) and a nice pool. Breakfast is not included, but across the street you are welcome if you, like we, only need a coffee and a croissant for breakfast. Also for a beer or a cocktail you get good p... Read more

The rooms were subpar, dated but spacious. The bathroom was also very dated, the layout didn't make sense with the toilet and bidet facing each other, not much room to get in and out of the shower. The ocean view room and balcony were fabulous though! The air conditioning was pre-set and controlled by the hotel, could not get it any cooler than 23C. Even had an engineer come up to explain that. Room service food was okay, nothing special.

We ended a tour of the island here and had scheduled an extra 3 days relaxation. A good location , some 15 min walk away from the busier main area of Giardini Naxos. Room with veranda and sea view was spacious , comfortable and in the main quiet ( but see later). Breakfast choice and quality was typical of other hotels we came across on the tour with some items, although not advertised, available to order and of good quality. Front of house staff were friendly and helpful. Some tourist restauran... Read more

A nice hotel with an excellent location on the beach, has everything that a hotel needs to have, plus nice restaurants around it. The staff is a little slow, but this is probably due to the end of the season, otherwise friendly and nice.

Flew in with some friends from Rome. This was the 4th and final destination from our 14 day Italy package tour. The entire group upgraded their rooms based on the reviews. Well, unfortunately we didn't have a great experience here. The front desk staff (especially Carla) were very rude and the porter failed to move our luggages to our rooms. We were in the lobby for a while prepping for our schedule with our tour representative and the entire time our luggages were left in the middle of the ... Read more

Visited this hotel for an international conference and commend the staff for a job well done. Day started with a generous breakfast and conference attendees were well taken care of throughout the day with excellent food and helpful staff. Additionally, there wasn't a single technical snag the whole conference that I observed, which never happens, so the IT team and equipment must have been good. As a hotel patron, I was a bit disappointed by being charged for pool towels, beachside lounges, use ... Read more

My first stay at this hotel proved to be an excellent one. Its location is excellent, only 1 hour by coach from Catania Airport and the bus stop is just around the corner from the hotel. The property is very beautiful, well decorated and has a lot of character. The staff was fantastic, starting from the General Manager, who was extremely friendly and professional, to every single member of staff, including bar, breakfast, dinner, pool and housekeeping. A bit steep.....) the outdoor pool was too cold to swim in and the umbrellas have ashtrays so you are surrounded by people smoking..... Even though I was 7 months pregnant...... sea view room was nice and finally a comfortable bed with proper pillows..... A bit of a scarce thing in italian hotels.... Nice hotel, was given an upgrade to my room due to spending the first two nights in a hotel next door as Hilton had double booked several rooms, happened to many of my colleagues as well in spite of booking my stay in Nov 2015! Very busy Conference so I think staff did well, but dear oh dear! all buffet meals served and eaten standing up, lots of pasta and cakes, but some fresh veg and salad would have been nice. We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of our trip around Sicily. This hotel and its staff truly live up to the quality Hilton name. Fabulous top floor suite allocated, staff truly went far beyond their call of duty to make sure we were totally happy. First class breakfast taken outside on the terrace, amazing cappuccino but always served with a smile. Great pool area, and great Spa. We will return when visiting Sicily soon I hope !! Despite it's rather brash appearance this is a nice place to stay. There is a large comfortable sitting area. There is a great outdoor pool & private beach. The rooms are comfortable but the bathroom was in need of renovation. There is free wifi. The breakfasts were very good with loads of choice for all tastes. The reception staff were very helpful & efficient.

We recently stayed 8 nights here as part of our trip around Sicily but specifically to celebrate my birthday. Check in was good and my Hilton Honors membership recognised. The receptionist recognised it was my birthday the next day. Although there must be people with birthdays everyday staying at Hiltons a small gesture such as a bottle of wine would be a nice touch. Other hotels do this so something to consider? Breakfast was very good and Manuela was excellent. If you want something that i... Read more

I didn't stay for the night, but I went with my husband to attend an event: WORSE experience ever! The food was terrible, not enough waiters, no waiters checking if we had water or wine, no presentation of the food before serving it, and the service was so slow that the people at my table wanted to call a pizzeria and order pizza! Good: Generally the hotel is very good. Beautiful interiors, large and cozy lobby, fast wi-fi, nice rooms, good service. Wonderful sea-view balcony. Your real treasure is Caterina - she is a soul of your front-office. You should take care of her. Very good restaurants next to the hotel. Especially cafe O'Neil. Send regards from Dima to the extremely hospitable owner Antonio please. Bad: Breakfast is too simple with assortment + Several times found absolutely ditry cutlery.

My wife and I finally decided to go to Sicily (because that's where my family is from). We stayed from September 27 to October 8, 2016. If there is a heaven on earth Sicily is it! And if you're in heaven you want to stay at the Hilton Giardini Naxos- which is fabulous. Out of the many Hiltons we have stayed at (over the past 35 years) this one is by far the best. I can't think of anything bad to say, everything was good at the hotel, the rooms were very nice and comfortable, the service was good all around with no complaint. They had good breakfast and they also had a bar/cafe in the lobby which was a plus to have when you are not looking to venture far. The hotel is also situated by the beach and surrounded by hill so you are really getting a nice view as well. Overall, staying at the Hilton was certainly worth it and the price.

All in all a great stay. Service was great and the room was very comfortable (especially the bed). We stayed b&b and there was a great choice and quality of food. The downside was the pool was so cold so kids couldn't dip and dive much. Also the hotel is located at the end of Naxos so a little quiet and run down surroundings. Beach access was brilliant and kids loved body surfing. Happy family!

Lovely place Sicily but this hotel was nothing more than a standard Hilton and a little pricey for what it was. It appeared also if you were English you were stopped if you tried to bring in water or wine from a local shop! Which considering the massive charge at the Hilton ?3 for water 0.30 cents from the shop was a little too much to handle. So day two I use my rucksack and bring in what I want no question!
