We found this hotel on trip advisor whilst we were passing through Florence. We were greeted by very friendly staff and were given a choice of rooms as there were three of us staying. We ended up staying two nights in the end as we liked the hotel that much. As the hotel is situated on a hill the views of Florence from the hotel and pool area are amazing! The hotel it's self I would consider boutique and is full of old shabby chic style furniture and beautiful pieces of art. It felt more like s... Read more

My fiancé and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Italian road trip. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and the lady gave us all the information we'd need for our stay i.e meal times, local bus stop info, etc. Our room was on the first floor above reception, comfy bed, spacious room with an en suite wet room. English TV channels are limited to news and fashion channels only. Breakfast was included in our stay - buffet style. We also had dinner both evenings in the hotel whic... Read more

food is TERRIBLE. I paid a lot and have not eaten at all. Everything is old. It is not 4 star hotel really! Only thing that I loved about it is its location. It has great view over Florence and hills.

A moderately priced accommodation we were looking for with free parking and bus connection to Florence's historic city center. The 4-star approached only from the bottom but I do not care, because it is a real authentic accommodation with helpful staff, and proprietress. Hundred-year-old furniture, and modest but hearty breakfast and truly beautiful view (helped solve a car wheel flat tire problem) Warning! If a person grants a sterile environment try known hotel chains, It is not.

We were staying near by at an Airbnb so we decided to go have dinner at this place at night, we orderd some wine and some cheese, the service was so bad and the food as well we were very disapointed because the view was great. When we asked for the bill it was absurde the prices and they wouldnt bring the menu to cross check the prices. Not recomended at all

This was my second stay at 'Villa Le Rondini', the first time was for a 2 night stay, this trip was for 7 nights and my Honeymoon. This hotel is old, quaint and the staff are amazing. Yes the rooms are out of date with very old furniture, but it really holds the 'Tuscan' feel about it. The room was clean and cleaned every day, the air conditioning was a little noisy but didn't cause any major issues. You are welcomed at this hotel like a member of the family, the restaurant staff are very helpf... Read more

From the moment we arrived and greete by Francesca we were made to feel at home. A little dissapointed at the size of the room, but everything spic and span. The evening meal was delicious and the view of Florence laid out in front of you is stunning. Will definitely return!

This is a great option to just use the pool for the day. The other reviews about the view are all right on - it's the best view of Florence we have had except for Piazzale Michangelo. The cost to use the pool is 18 euro per person plus 2 euro each for a towel. There is a snack bar with alcohol and typical Tuscan food. What we had was good. Two plates plus one drink was 29 euro. Nice bathrooms at the pool. Pool is not heated but with the hot summer sun it's not needed. There are plenty of chairs, ... Read more

Yes, the view is stunning. Absolutely breath-taking. But when you come inside and spend a night or two in the rooms, the magic of the view loses some luster. We were in a large group, and most of us had something wrong with our rooms. My room had drapes that were held on by string, a shower drain that didn't drain properly and flooded the room (the barrier on the shower floor was only about two inches, so the water ran over quickly), no shelves in the bathroom, dusty furniture in the room, a... Our family of 4 went to the villa for the day and we really enjoyed the pool and the friendly people. It was like swimming at home with family. The villa serves great food and its just 18 euros a day to use the facility including towels, changing rooms etc and lovely loungers set in a tree strewn lawn (so shade if you want it). Take bus 25 from San Marco and get off at stop bologna 21 and walk back to the entrance. Its a long walk up to the villa but worth the effort.
