Travelling from Sienna, i stopped in this nice hotel. The choice was done, based on availability of hotel with garages and walking distance to the old district. Hotel is good, well located, across the Arno river ... about 15 min walk from the main railway station and 20 min. from the Ponte Vecchio. Service is good. The best bartender, Said, we called him Morgan Greeman :) Clean, breakfast is OK. Room 226 has some kitchen smell during the night.

Fantastic hotel. We got there and they offered an upgrade to move up one or two levels. We decided to go up one level but they put us up 2 levels anyway. The executive rooms are HUGE. Seriously. The bathroom alone was the size of our entire hotel room in Venice. Amazing service, delicious breakfast and while it's a touch outside of the immediate city center (across the river) they could always get a cab for us within 2-3 minutes. Would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed in UNA Vittoria on my trip to Florence - it was a last minute decision to stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, not a wise one We were on our way from Chianti to Firenze, and stopped by Pisa to look at the beautiful leaning tower. Unfortunately, right there, my mom missed a step, fell down, resulting in a fractured leg. We reached the hotel at about 4 pm, and were checked in to the 2 Superior rooms we had booked. The room layout was crappy, very crammed up, no space to accommodate the... Read more

This was a pretty cool little hotel. The rooms were very uniquely designed. The bathroom (specifically the shower!) was fantastic. It's in a great neighbourhood that is close to the centre walking, but in a more authentic region of Florence. I would absolutely so back.

The hotel has very weird interior inside the lobby and even worse in the rooms. The rooms were very dark and worn. There is not enough room to lay out a suitcase and the AC does not work. Had to have the window open to cool off and was bitten up by mosquitos or something. A little to far from all the action for my taste. The morning breakfast was good and the staff was good.

Very 'unique' hotel as compared to others we stayed at in Italy. Interesting decor, violet walls with blue LED lighting. We stayed in many "4 star" hotels across Italy during our 14 day visit, we found a 4 star hotel would not be equivalent to what we expect in the USA. There was little space in our room for our suitcases and us. Beds are hard, shower has a frosted glass wall that faces the exterior of the room not cool for two singles rooming together. The positive we had was our a/c working o... Read more

Weird decor, no problem. Purple bathroom, pretty funny. Crazy lighting, entertaining. But a single room with another bed shoved against a mirror (argh, not the view I want to wake up to!) and a raised platform for the real bed causing a tripping hazard, didn't press. The extra bed had no light or access to a light switch, no bedside table, there was only one chair, one set of toiletries, etc. Not pleasant for the extra person.

Its location is on the opposite side of old center, 20 minutes walk from where the action takes place. It is advisable to walk near Arno whatever riverside and not on the narrow streets, which are deserted and sad with all the businesses and small shops closed and went bankrupt. Very modern hotel once fashionable, with cool concept from the entrance to the bar lounge and room with funky bathroom. However, the room needed repairment of the ceiling from former water leakage. The bathroom has an in... Read more

We stayed in this smaller hotel in June with our tour group. On arrival we found our room's bathroom drain blocked, the bath tub much too high to safely walk over, room presented too tired, supplies in the bathroom inadequate, soiled card boxes scattered near our room, number of ill mannered guests of some motor cycle riders club who created offensive noises from their loud motor cycles and then their parties outside our rooms till 3am depriving our sleep. The room is very small covered up in so... Read more

I loved the decor of this hotel. The suite had really fun lights and was decorated with care. Breakfast is really good - everything you could think of and constantly replenished (you can also ask for cappuccinos to be made). Staff are really friendly and the rooms were cleaned each day to a really high standard. Wifi was good. I would recommend.

Well, the rooms and hallways are mostly coloured purple. It's comfy hotel and spacious as well. Having a triple accommodation had a queen with annex to a single room. Our room was located off the rooftop. So we had a rooftop balcony but not much of a view. Rooms are clean and with fresh towels everyday. Buffet breakfast is okay. It's a very interesting hotel. A bit of a walk from the city centre. So a bit quiet location.

Hotel staff friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. Special thanks to Eleanora & Said for their superb service, will definitely be back. Easy to walk to the central, conveniently located, breakfast also quite enjoyable, safe accessible parking . Very conscious about conserving our environment, great place to stay.

Negative : I had stayed at this hotel in 2008, and was very pleased at the time. We visited Florence again this may, so i booked our stay at the same hotel. Disappointment... Nothing got renovated in 8 years time. The bathroom didn't match the rest of the hotel/room, way below the standards of a room that costs 150 euro/night. About 30 min walk from Ponte Vecchio bridge. Quiet a distance. Quiet many damages in the (room/bathroom) decoration. Furthermore, when I book a room 4 months in advance and... Read more

Over all a good hotel with good service. Good breakfast (for being in Italy), highly recommended. The rooms are decorated in a funky style and the beds are very comfortable. Only a 15min walk to ponte vecchio. The hotel restaurant was also not to bad.

With Red Walls and small lights all over the room made me wonder just where I was. Very small bedroom with bench at the end of the bed hiding a tv on the wall which we could not see. The bathroom was very strange. The breakfast was nothing special. Would not stay there again

We adored the rooms decoration and the incredible lights on the walls and ceiling. It felt like we were in a dream. We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip in Tuscany and was looking for a comfortable bed. We found it. The breakfast was generous, we missed more fruits though. We didn't appreciate the extra 20 euros for the parking.

Had a 2 night visit to Florence and chose this hotel from other reviews. Was I disappointed? Yes and no. Yes - the reasons: 1) The distance from almost everything. It's about a 15 minute walk from/to the train station. 2) Nothing much in the immediate vicinity. Now it was mid August, so maybe that's why all the shops were closed? 3) It's a long walk to see the sights! No - the reasons: 1) The staff/service was lovely. 2) The room is funky (you may be excused for thinking it a little 'odd' a... Read more

Stayed here for 5 nights in an executive room as part of a Voyage Prive deal. The room was quite wacky with the shower visible to the rest of the room. The shower was great though with a waterfall head and loads of space. The bed was big and comfortable and the hotel offered 4 different types of pillow which you could ask for from reception. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. A bit out of the way with maybe a 30 minute walk to the city centre but other than that it was great!

As the world seems to be filling itself with very bland, featureless hotels, which offer the exact same room all over the world, this one, makes a big and positive change. It is totally unique. Very well designed, and entertaining lighting system is installed in the rooms. Very cool. You have all the facilities you would need in the rooms. I am giving this hotel a two star rating because the room is poorly designed and not easy to use. The beds are on a platform, which, in the middle of the night, is easy to fall off of. Further, while the square footage is adequate, the room is designed with very little usable space. At the foot of the bed is a 4' footboard which takes a lot of space but has little or no use. There are two stools which I assume is to eat on while sitting at the footboard. There is room for one suitcase. Overall, ... Read more

Everything was great about this hotel except for the rooms, they are quite outdated and could do with a freshen up, even just refurbishing the walls would make a big difference. The room was very dark as well. Positives are that it was very quiet and the bed was HUGE! Breakfast was not buffet but there was still plenty there to fill you up. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the bar does happy hour specials which we enjoyed. We received 2 free bus trips during our stay which was very ... Read more

I do not understand any poor review with this hotel. I'm a platinum member at Starwood and decided to stay off the beaten path. This hotel has 5 star service with a very "W" hotel brand style. The hotel entry is pretty fancy, welcoming staff there. Upstairs towards the rooms it is pretty dark and funny. The rooms are very tight, no extra table to work from, the decor is very outdated and broken at times plus not really clean. The washing room is ok, interesting, but not great at all. The smell was not great at all, rather stinky, it was fixed after I called the reception, but no excuse or anything reflecting the significant issue. Breakfast was ok, very basic. One of the management responses to a review about this place describes 'continuous investments' in the furnishings. They seem to have overlooked the worn down dirty grey carpet in the room I stayed in and the stale smell that happens when a room has been smoked in for years before the smoking ban, but no one decorates or replaces the furnishings so the smell of those days lingers for years and is revived every time smoke from outside drifts in. The decor has surely not been updated since about 1... Read more

Our familiy (2 kids of 12 and 14 years old) liked the ambiente of the hotel and the spacious executive rooms very much. Very comfortable beds. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided us with a lot of good information (restaurant tipps in the closer area, how to get the easiest way to the center etc.). The building itself is very nice and the interiour is artfully designed. And the possiblility to leave our car at the hotel parking was also a big PLUS. We surely would stay again in this ho... We stayed here while on a tour of Europe. Out of 24 nights away from home I would rate this place as the least likely to return. The staff were friendly and most spoke English. The decor is a tad different and may appeal to some but did not hit the mark with us. Our room was very small with no place to put your luggage.
